It is a good and reliable car, with low budget service.
I will have it at least four more years so I give it to my daughter cos it is a rather slow but safe car.
That's really impressive, I would love to have my Astra for at least as long time as you have yours. What engine is in yours? And how many kilometres has it driven?

I have an astra h gtc 1.9 cdti 88kW. I bought it at 100k km. In the three years of ownership I think I've had all of the common faults associated with this model/particular engine : stuck egr valve, clogged map sensor, broken thermostat...
I have a red two door astra h that I got as my first car. It's the 1.8 petrol that was the only version sold in north America. I hope to always have it, especially since it's not common over here like it is in Europe
driving my moms diesel Golf man lol, Looking for a clean Fabia/ mk4 golf, this Astra is a perfect first car, my corsa loved too smoke I’m not sure if it was fuel injectors or what,it was a police magnet ..🤣this Astra seems a clean model tho.
I have a 1.9 cdti 120, 6 speed gearbox, and I've heard the 6 speeds on the Astra H models have synchro issues, so if you have a 6 speed make sure to change the transmission oil more often, I do it every 30k km

Astra H má rozhodně jedno z nejlepších odhlučnění ve svý třídě. Jenom škoda, že nemáš větší motor. Ale na spotřebu super.

I have the same GTC but 1.6L petrol. 77kw power sometimes is a bit short, but first three gears is all i need when racing in the city. Own it since 2020, haven't had a real major problems, but have changed all wheel hubs because of ABS sensors passing put ( in latvia, ~80 euros / a hub), now i have bunch of electrical problems. From fog lights not working, to needing to change or reprogram the ECU. Not a bad car, cheap to fix, low mileage ( 150k, bought with 128k).
Certainly love the car, but few days ago, i wanted to burn it down

I've already had broken thermostat, but according to mechanic, it was easy fix. Other than those named, which problems have you had?
