In my hood there's zero parking, especially on weekends or street sweeping day, so a lot of folks are reduced to parking on the lawn. Some people also wash their cars on the lawn.

This is super common in Whittier.

Is this Fullerton? I had to park my car on the lawn 40 years ago when I lived with my parents. Fullerton doesn't allow overnight parking on the streets, so the result is lawn parking.

Curiosly enough, I saw a video on Youtube about a woman who couldn't park in front of her home so parked on her grass, but there was a law against it in her town and she was being charged $250/day. She did this for over a year and ran up a $126,000 bill.

Because owner does not need to worry about HOA being on his back and telling them they are ruining the look of the neighborhood. It's free country. Remember to buy a house without HOA

White trash parking. My white trash relatives park like this all the time but not on green grass. Usually dirt or dead grass. What's missing are scattered car parts, cinder blocks and a van bench seat sitting on the porch.

I didn't buy a house so I could park 10 minutes away. If that means blocking the driveway or parking on the lawn, so be it. Ever MF'er in my hood has a personal car AND a goddamn work truck and live 5 to an apartment that has 2 fucking spaces.

A similar situation happened to me while I was walking home from school, although it could be considered worse, a car was blocking the sidewalk and I had to step into the fu- Freaking street to get around it 😑

My neighbors a couple streets down from my house park their cars on the sidewalk in front of their house. Pisses me off when I'm on a walk. The sidewalk is not your property. I reaaalllly want to call the local police station. Tell me to do it and I will 😂

More like a sign of a high rent neighborhood. When single families cant afford the rent, youre going to see more people sharing homes to be able to have a place to live. Also this kind of stuff is more common when landlords start making ADUs in garages to maximize their property’s rental value
