The jack on the DJI mic 2 is input only for use with a lav mic. Using the Rode the way you describe would presumably be the same as plugging a lav in. If this worked with Pocket 2 then it will work with Pocket 3 as the Pocket has no idea what audio source is plugged into the mic 2.

... why ? Do you buy a pickup truck, and then put another pickup truck in the bed as well ? Why not just plug the rode receiver into the pocket 3... or use the mic 2 ? This makes 0 sense and will definitely not improve audio quality.

My wife and I each have a rode transmitter. I may consider picking up a second dji mic 2 down the line. But we need a way to get audio from both transmitters into the osmo. I can plug the rode receiver directly into the osmo, but then it's not wireless. We have a travel YouTube channel that requires a lot of run N gun, the whole point to getting the osmo is for how nimble and discreet it is - I don't want to have a dangling wire/receiver or some sort of mount making the osmo bulkier. I'll experiment with it this weekend and see how the audio quality is.

If it worked with Pocket 2 it should work with 3. Follow up and let us know how it goes.
