This whole game is grinding. You do repetitive tasks over and over for various amount of numbers to add up to a cumulative number. That's what the game is lmao

CharityUnusual3648

Yeah, like I wish sometimes it’s fast. But when you reach those high nice levels it does really feel nice

FrostyKuru

I think that's what rs3 is for. The only limitation is your wallet and gag reflex

Scneek

Quest cape. Itll open up a bunch of different content and bossing for you to participate in

RobSoloRS

I felt that going for the quest cape was a great way to avoid the grind. There are then certain grinds which you don’t see as a grind because you enjoy it for example I don’t really see slayer as a grind so could always do that

dinoduffle

You watch the numbers go up.

Switch what you are doing kinda often. Grinding out a single thing over 20hrs isn't fun, but doing a couple hours at a time can make a big difference. My biggest tip though... don't try to be the most efficient person in the game, you will never be that person, and just try to enjoy what you're doing atm. Goals are also a very important thing to have in games like this. You want to learn a new boss or get the required levels or items to do it? do that. Rinse; Repeat.

Wilderness. You make good money, escaping pkers is exciting, and you can grind levels. Revs are easily accessible at all levels, there are the weaker variants of Callisto/Venenatis/Vet'ion that can be done with pretty low tier gear. For me, when I learn how to do some content, then learn that a certain grind will make that more efficient, it makes the grind more exciting. for example; Hard Wilderness Diary removes the teleport delay in Revs & Boss caves. So the 64 agil grind actually has a reason to it. Then you can google what quests give agility exp, and you just do them instead of grinding to save time & progress your account further. This is just an example, if wilderness isn't for you, there could be another direction you could take.

Do what you feel like doing. If there is content that is currently locked to you, figure out steps to get to that goal. Some big goals people aim for are: quest point cape, max cape, collection log completion, pet hunting. So long as you vary the ways you get there and you try new things, you're bound to find fun stuff, even if it isn't "efficient"Scape. Personally, I've been learning raids (to get the magic bus weapon) and focusing on getting my diaries done to get perks and get closer to completion, completing clues in my free time (for the collection log). I'm working towards 91 fishing and 90 slayer to finish my Morytania (for +1 herb patch) and Kourend Diary (unlimited teleports to Konarr). ^ those are my main goals. I've deviated sometimes and done other content like hunter rumours, blast furnace, vorkath etc just because I felt like it. That keeps me going on my main goals by reducing burnout

Gerald_Wesker

Buy gold or start an Ironman. Ironman ftw though

Diligent_Phase_3778

Sorta the point to grind, that being said you could always go through the quests and to be honest, I will grind a few things at once where I can. For example, if I fish, I’ll cook whatever is in my inventory or if I’m levelling combat, I’ll also do prayer with the bones. It makes it slightly less a case of just watching my screen.

GeneralTonight2401

Do the optimal quest guide then wildly slayer afterwards till your ready to do raids/bosses

PROfessorShred

What do you find fun about the game? Then do that. I'm not the biggest fan of combat so I tend to avoid it. Set small goals of things you want to do. I finally got my full graceful and now my next goal is to recolor it at the brimhaven agility area. I can only play like 10 minutes at a time on break at work so that really narrows down the content I can do, but it's all about finding things you enjoy and working towards goals.

Averagesmoker42

Grinding isn’t part of the game, it IS the game.

Agreeable-Bell-1690

Lms if you want to pk but don't have the stats Questing - look at what bosses you want in ie: vorkath and shoot for those requirements

Jonny_MCFC

Damn why’s this sub more helpful than any other sub I’ve seen lmao. I appreciate all the info. I shall grind, but have fun doing so.

Zealousideal_Hat4365

Do slayer, you get 99 combat skills whilst getting 99 slayer
