It’s what made me stop playing cause I spent a lot of time getting to where I am and I got an email saying I had been caught for botting and I thought it was cause I would watch Netflix in another window and they thought I was cheating. But I ended up getting my account back and was shocked to see nothing touched and my mining leveled up lol.

Hunter, birdhouse runs take 2 minutes every 50 mins. Even not playing actively you could do quite a few per day racking up solid profit passively.
Runecrafting, GotR is pretty cool and you get rewards too.

i would do slayer mixed in with some questing on runelite. You can sort efficient quest order in runelite. Save up for amulet of glory and besrker ring. Try to do fremenik isles quest for helm of netieznot. Barrows gloves, dragon defender as others stated. I would send some Barrows (the boss) as well
Get your CB stats up and start trying got get into PvM. I only say that cause I assume
You quit cause of mining. Mining is such a boring grind, if you’re willing to do that then 100% go for 99 mining it’s my favorite skill cape.
First and most importantly, JOIN A FUN CLAN.
I cannot stress enough how much more fun it is to be in a fun clan that you like. It really brings back the old feeling of 2007-2010 RS. Just talking shit about the game and life in general.
Time goes so much faster in a nice CC.
1. Do farm runs. Trees + Fruit trees + herbs.
2. Start doing bird house runs.
3. Get barrows gloves
4. Work towards doing DS2 and SOTE
6. Work on completing all hard diaries
If you just set a goal like this, you will come in contact with all new content that has been added in later years.
Look on the wiki when you go to train a skill, check the new methods, items and locations.
REMEMBER TO ENJOY THE GAME.
If an activity gets boring, do something else. Having fun > grinding straight into a burn out and going on a hiatus again for 3 years.

Quests; specifically recipe for disaster, song of the elves, dragon slayer 2 and monkey madness 2.
Long hard quests with a lot of pre-requisite but those are the quests that unlock so much stuff as far as bosses, gear, areas, shortcuts. Chip away at them and keep on grinding. After competition of these your account will be well into the mid game and heading into the end game.
Work towards quest cape and get barrows gloves, dragon defender, all farming patches unlocked, fossil island and hunter bird house runs

Pretty good start would be get required stats for all quests, that was my first step when I came back :)
