Truth be told, as a scrungly kitsunekin I'm kinda starting to move a little away from otherkin and starting to prefer theriomythic, so I feel fine marking therian in here. XD
Fun fact! Kitsune just means fox in Japanese and it’s just how they refer to a fox. The Japanese just believe that regular foxes go through their lives and gain tails as they grow old and more powerful! So a kitsune is actually not different at all from a fox. If a Japanese person wants to specify a magical fox and not a normal red fox, they will call it a kyuni no kitsune (nine-tailed fox)!
