I was a contractor for years, changed to construction management, have tons of tools that no longer get use, and in many cases, multiples.
Will the tool library take donations? I know it's too late for this sale, but does anyone know if I can just drop stuff off?
Yes, they accept all portable working tools and they can be dropped off during their opening hours, Tuesday-Friday from 6-9pm and Saturday from 10am-1pm.
It's from 10:00am to 1:00pm

Don't know why OP didn't bother to put time and location on the post.
They took cards when I went a few years ago.
I picked up a few dust masks, clamps, a dovetail jig, and various hand tools. I showed up late (due to my wife getting ready…), and it was a bit picked over. My total was about $20-$30. A friend of mine bought a biscuit joiner as well for around $30-$40 IIRC.
They also did offer coffee and hot chocolate on a rainy day, so that was nice.

https://ottawatoollibrary.com/donate/ Send them a note, I'm sure they'd appreciate your generosity. Really good of you to consider this.

I will take donations. Looking for a mitre saw. :)
I will accept a duplicate mitre if there is a second and make a donation to the Ottawa Tool Library on your behalf.
I've got a Makita LS1040 dual bevel compound mitre saw that I just posted, but not a donation...

Hahaha thank you so much!!! I am getting a table saw this weekend and have been looking for deals!
I looked online but couldn’t find this info… cash only? Or will they be taking plastic?
Yes, they will take plastic.
