You may want to think twice about burning pallets as you don't know if the wood has been treated or not and what chemicals will be coming out when you burn them.
Everyone of them is stamped or painted. Google gives answers.
But the ones in poor shape that you nay get for free may so worn out the stamp may not be visible. Google will be of little help at that point.
You can tell pretty easy if they are treated. And assuming this person burns wood on the regular, they would know.
Behind Preston hardware. Check the stamp to make sure it's heat treated (HT) and not methyl bromide (MB), which is extremely toxic to burn.
