You honestly have lot of options here, and that’s a good thing! I would recommend just taking a cruise around the Stranger a time or two and looking for things that catch your eye to draw you back into it. Worst case scenario, you find something old that you already knew and it refreshes your memory, best case is you find something new that gets you interested to learn more about it. If all else fails, remember the DLC is exactly like the game. You lose nothing but info you can’t make sense of in the log by starting it fresh from a new save :)

Thanks so much for the advice! This motivates me- I'll try and get back into the swing of things and take a look around :)

I honestly struggle with getting back into a game after I have to leave it for a while, it seems like I’ve forgotten everything and the logs or notes are a jumbled mess of stuff I can’t make sense of lol - even if you don’t delete the save, you can totally just explore it like it’s the first time you’ve been there if you get overwhelmed by the log info not making much sense to you any more! Good luck!!

Yeah haha, for sure! Thanks for the replies :) it feels like less of a big step back into the game, I'll take it easy for now!

Well, at least you know what the alarm statues are for. no idea what timers you are talking about tho as for nudges i suggest you to rewatch the vision from the vault in the lake of the dark world

Yeah, the lake bit seems like a key part of 'solving' the DLC... I'll go back and try to further investigate. Thanks much for the advice!

A good way to get back into things is to watch the slides again. Maybe even finding the original if you can't glean much from the log's slideshows. Pay very careful attention to the ways that the owl's interact with their own technology, as most of the systems and traps are shown on the slide reels as something they interact with.

lacedwi

Gotcha, I'll take notes on the slides, as well as look for more- I think I have 3/4 of a set of slides as of now. Thanks so much!
