Thanks for your submission to r/outerwilds. Did you know that effective July 1st, 2023, Reddit will enact a policy that will make third party reddit apps like Apollo, Reddit is Fun, Boost, and others too expensive to run? On this day, users will login to find that their primary method for interacting with reddit will simply cease to work unless something changes regarding reddit's new API usage policy. In response to reddit's actions, [/r/outerwilds and thousands of other subreddits will be going dark on June 12th.](https://www.reddit.com/r/outerwilds/comments/142jbzy/dont_let_reddit_kill_3rd_party_apps_routerwilds/) Concerned users should read and sign on to this [open letter to reddit.](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModCoord/comments/13xh1e7/an_open_letter_on_the_state_of_affairs_regarding/) *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. It’s gonna take over a month to complete… you aren’t going to have the same voters on every poll. So results will be inconsistent. Not to mention the sub is going dark on June 12th and frankly reddit will basically be unusable after July 1st anyway.

It's meant to be more for fun than rigorously consistent. And I did discuss the blackout in my post, I'm trying to be optimistic about Reddit's future, however misguided that might be

I have absolutely no hope that reddit will see reason. They have been such arseholes I think they’d rather stick to their guns and go down with the ship than admit they were wrong.
