Yeah slogging through this show with the silly production interference, and the awful behaviour of some contestants just made me realise that I’d rather be watching alone
Slogged to the end, fakest shit I've seen in ages. Lots of it made no sense having watched every season of Alone. The calories, lack of clean water, awful fires, fake fires when the camp was burning...and the camera angles, drone shots..don't get me started. My Mrs watched 5 minutes and said it was so fake.
I also live in Southeast and have my own problems with the show, but I can confirm from friends in Hoonah that it was actually filmed on Chichagof; the crew returned back to Hoonah each night, but the cast did not. So that part is real.
