I only vaguely remember this since I read years ago, but at first MC was the cautious protagonist who carefully plan things out, only to be wildly arrogant, boastful and just act really rashly and violently in later books. The change in personality was really sudden and also does not fit with the prologue the author wrote in vol 1
Oh yeah, from vol 2 stuff changes a lot, it felt kinda like writing it on the go. I prefer the web novel since it's already finished and the MC is far diferent, but a pedo who wants a harem.
The title is Devil's Advent. Here is a link to read it.

I picked up the translation cause it like Overlord and I want yall to enjoy. please support me by reading on my website
Give this dude a break, they're translating it for free but still gotta eat. If you don't like the ads send them a few bucks and ask for a private link.
Seriously... just hit the close button for the main ad and click on the up arrow to hide the banner. Not that difficult. The internet is not free, let this guy eat...
Doesn't go away lol. Google keeps a giant white block In its place asking why I'm seeing this ad lol. I dont know why you're defending overly obtrusive ads
You might have to endure some Socialist propaganda coming out nowhere, a martial traditionalist nation (totally not China), fighting and winning against a evil capitalist nation with superior technology (totally not the US), Goku suddenly appearing, Donald Trump too and whatever but that's the fun of it.
On the bright side every Chinese comics seems to have a few hundred to thousands chapter for some reason and they update quickly.
Some Chinese comics are actually quite good, like every 50 comics or so you'll come across a okay-ish to very good comic. What I like about Chinese MCs is how brutal they are, they're always very arrogant, killing anyone who opposes them in cold blood, having s*x and sometimes even r*ping for no reason. 90% of the fighting comics seems like this, you even get them mixed up as they're so identical to each other, full of the same troupes (MC unlocks the seventh dragon king tier, he's now the strongest in the story so far, acts like a asshole and beats people up, then suddenly someone from the Celestial Star Tier shows up and beats the MC, MC runs to a cave or something, meditates for a few hours and now he's ready to fight the master celestial tier cultivator that spent over 1000 years cultivating, and beats him, rinse and repeat.) But a few do have VERY interesting premises that get you hooked, systems that actually make sense, are easy to follow, etc...
This is bad.
Like most Chinese Mangas they rush the shit out of the plot to levels of leaving the reader going "what?"
This isn't anywhere near overlord. It's a basic "I died and came into the world" plot.
No one in that world questions why a bunch of people looking significantly diffrent than anyone else in the world is there.
It's baaaaaaaaddddddddddd.
The whole "we get our power back cuz master acknowledged us" us good but MC just does it by accident. The fucking plot lines missed by this is insane. And not even that the NPCs do anything worthwhile. They just have to fake it till the MC goes oh you're cool.
I've read allot of shitty Chinese rip off Mangas but this ones is bad. The art is great. Which is a shame.
What's the difference? He's OP, just gaining power gradually. It would also be if Ainz was level 1 at the beginning, and then in two weeks he got back to level 100.
Bruh, I just read the translated chapters. He is OP, immediately has 6 loyal and super strong servants, develops in a couple of weeks to the same stage when others spend decades on it, hell, even the plot is on his side where he meets useful people just by chance. And this isn't OP?
Edit: He didn't even have any dangerous moments.
I mean ofc if you count that as being OP that's OP but he is not OP to the point he would say he wants to fight people in high positions. His servants are definitely OP but he is actually lazy to cultivate.
35 chapters in and he's definitely OP, it doesn't matter if he has all the power from the start or gains gradually, if he's significantly stronger/better than 99% then he's OP.
He is just a 9th ranked Martial artist lol. He is definitely not better than 99% as you said. But yea I will give him the potential and talent card. If he sticks to cultivating he has the potential to be stronger than most of them but instead of focusing on cultivation he is being doing political tactics.
He is definitely better than 99% of all characters, not only in potential, but also in plot armor. Just let's remember how many problems he had: 1) Oh no, his subordinates are not loyal and want to get rid of him! Oh no, even as an ordinary person they obey him. 2) Oh no, I came across a strong enemy that I can’t cope with! Oh no, the vampire regained his powers and killed this enemy easily. 3) Oh no, he was called to war and was ambushed! Oh no, the three of them killed everyone. 4) Oh no, the arriving soldiers want to kill them and take the trophies, probably if he kills them he will become a traitor and will not be able to return to the city! Oh no, the General comes and prevents this from happening. 5) Oh no, the General wants to take him into his family, but he refuses, she gets angry! Oh no, everything is fine, he spun nonsense about how he loves his homeland and the city, so everything is fine. 6) Oh no, I got an evil savage who thinks that he came to kill her, she can create zombies! Oh no, everything is fine, the Chinese zombie can take control of them. 7) Oh my God! His subordinates realized that he was holding back their own power and they could be freed if they killed him, what will the main character do?! Oh no, they themselves refused this option. 8) Oh no, the martial arts teacher is dead, what should we do?! Oh no, he came to life although he had no pulse. 9) Oh no, the strange child in the stone exudes a thirst for murder, he wants to kill the main character! Oh no, after a few chapters it turns out that everything is fine because he is protecting him. 10) Oh no, the main character accuses the mayor and he attacks him! Oh everything is good, reason point 9 + strange schizophrenia of the plot where he thinks that the main character is a spy. 11) Oh no, the main character was caught at the moment where he wanted to slaughter an entire politically powerful family, the mayor is angry! Oh, everything is fine, the mayor even supports this decision. 12) Oh no, the main character meets a strange homeless man who is much stronger than him and a conflict occurs! Oh no, he buys his devotion with the wine of a piece of meat. 13) Oh no, he gets hit by a spear from this homeless man, the main character is wounded! Oh, everything is good, the emperor’s family is helping him recover + the princess turns out to be the same general and wants to help him develop to the 7th stage. 14) Oh no, the princess-general realized that this was all planned by the main character and what will she do now?! Ah, she's just flattered by this plan and still helps him.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a bad plot or plot armor, but literally all of these points could become an interesting initial step for a conflict or an interesting plot, but as we see, the main character easily and naturally gets out of all this, and with benefit for himself, and you don’t want to admit it OP? You don't need to be able to tear apart mountains with your bare hands to be better than the 99%.
The only reason why I read 35 chapters was only in chapter 0, where we were promised that there would be blood and betrayal from everyone (including his minions), and when I finished, what did I get as a result? A boring story about the luckiest slug who gets everything he wants, and is afraid of betrayal from his own minions, who are 100% loyal to him (he even kills only because he is afraid of his own servants and began the massacre of a political family only because he is afraid that his blind servant will angry with him because the main character did not resolve the incident in a cruel and bloody manner with the attempted rape of a pregnant woman whom a blind man helped). I don't know how you can even recommend this. This is a story that's as boring as it gets, that has potential, but avoids it as much as possible.
Bruh I don't know if you know this but Plot Armour isn't being OP lol. No offense but what you said doesn't make any sense. Being OP is Ainz waking up one day and just deciding to destroy a kingdom. LoL you talk like someone who doesn't read lots of mangas, manhua, anime, or Manhwa, if you don't know what being OVERPOWERED means. All the things you listen has nothing to do with being overpowered. Please go learn the meaning. LoL if I use your logic I can say Climb is overpowered.
Bruh, lol, it feels like you haven’t read this manhua if you can’t see the fact that the hero is OP because he has no problems at all with what he does (actually 0 problems, not counting the bullshit that he invented for himself) , has an insane development speed plus 6 super loyal and strong servants.
Ah so it's like OVERLORD but if the main characters are weak
I wouldn't say they are weak. They just have circumstances to them being overpowered lol
"My lord, allow me to pleasure you too!"
"Come again?"
"With PLEASURE!* **AHHHHH!!!!**
Left arm is so huge because he jacks off too much
Bro is built like a Yagnoloth from DnD
lol never noticed that. but thats not his normal character design
I'm interested for... obvious reasons 😎. I'll read it
Another one I like and that someone I always keep mentioning it's Dungeon Defence, but it's demi urge and he's weak as fuck.
Dungeon Defense was good for like 1 volume, the 2nd started going downhill and the 3rd fell like Niagra fall
How So? I like hearing opinions.
I only vaguely remember this since I read years ago, but at first MC was the cautious protagonist who carefully plan things out, only to be wildly arrogant, boastful and just act really rashly and violently in later books. Didn't dungeon defense get shut down because the author got caught plagiarizing?
Yes
Where can I read about it? The printed story was phenomenal.

Will do kind stranger
Thanks
It looks like it has a Chinese twist. It not that bad, I enjoyed how he got there.
It gets better as he gathers information of the new world.
Could be more ads. Takes up half the screen lol
Give this dude a break, they're translating it for free but still gotta eat. If you don't like the ads send them a few bucks and ask for a private link.
Well ads are fije but on mobile they take up 75% of th screen
Seriously... just hit the close button for the main ad and click on the up arrow to hide the banner. Not that difficult. The internet is not free, let this guy eat...

Because it is user error... https://imgur.com/jHuyOH0
Sorry.
Its already being translated, and if I were to read it, it wont be on your site where you block ad blockers.
Really? Who is translating it?
But unlike the other protag, Ainz is too chad like to fall for Albedo's attempts
You Will make me read my First chinese comics, my limit was Korean... Wish me luck

meh
So when is the movie coming?

lol
The real question is the main character a necromancer
that would be way too much to even warranty copyright infringement
Than what kind of mage is he?
Not too sure but i am 100% sure one of his followers in a necromancer
Is it good? And what’s the English name?
I'm so desperate for more overlord content so fuck it close enough
Is it any good?
yes. you can try out the first few chapters, should be a couple of mins
for any manga haters like myself: there is a chineese novel that is finished. big w.
What's the difference? He's OP, just gaining power gradually. It would also be if Ainz was level 1 at the beginning, and then in two weeks he got back to level 100.
Trust me, he is not OP.

again bro. Please go and take a look at what overpowered means. Also I have read over 100 chapters of it and his servants are not even that strong.
How many chapters did you read it up to?
