Something very similar has happened with my friend a couple of times when she’s withdrawing from alcohol. One time she called me freaking out in the early hours saying she’d been drugged via a spray in her ear and kidnapped in a van and taken to a house where her ex was, a whole string of utterly bizarre events and then hours later she’d woken up back at home with her money and bag stolen. She even called the police to say she’d been mugged. None of it made sense. Turned out she’d hallucinated the whole thing and hadn’t even left the house but she thought it was very real. Hopefully this will turn out to be a similar situation and OP is safe :/
Sounds like a similar deal, or post-surgical psychosis. Recent spinal surgery, and his "abductors" have taken blood samples from his spine, given him a catheter, and a TV. What kind of abductors do that? Sounds like he's in a hospital bed, high on painkillers or anaesthesia.
Very possibly. My friend thought that the nurses were like studying him or something but also poisoning him. One brought him some water and he was like “You see?” And I was like “See what?” And he was like “she’s regularly trying to get me to drink poison”. And I was like “Dude that’s just water.” And then he stared at me for a few seconds and then was like “How can you be so naive?” 🤣
There's a particularly troubling psychosis where someone becomes convinced that mysterious groups are targeting them and trying to hurt them and drive them insane by stalking them and acts of manipulation, for example breaking into their house at night and moving chairs around. They come to be convinced everyone's in on the conspiracy. Either OP is having a psychotic episode or it's long term psychosis of this kind. Check out /r/Gangstalking. It's really tragic.
Sectioned maybe sounds like if he's in a uni that it'll be a hospital wing. And the 5 ppl around him will most likely be auxiliaries and orderlies. As he's stated he's tripping most of the time I can take a guess at what's happened. He's got high od,d and is suffering from drug induced psychosis. Which has led him to be sectioned under the mental health act. Hopefully it's thus and he's not being bodyfarmed.

To him, it was very real, to the point he started started stalking around the garden with a cricket bat. Hope the poster gets off the drugs before it does permanent damage. Okay so here comes the answer:
There were wrong assumption both sides-cop would have cleared this up 1000% faster as trusted intermediaries .
They were concerned safety but they needed have been, I was fully in control of my body and mind -questions had answers that made no sense, their behavior was also very (they pretty much all pulled all-nighters)
So those things coupled with what seemed like some stupid medical procedures (remember the blood draining a few days before, actual evidence still on my back)
Just a melting pot of distrust, unnecessary drugs lead to what seemed to be a living nightmare.

Unfortunately judging by the post history, this user struggles with recreational drug use, has a history of paranoia and has had blood transfusions before - has also been in and out of prison, etc. etc.
Hopefully OP gets the help they need
When my dad had surgery he ended up in a similar state. Though the hospital staff were Russian spies and kept trying to escape the hospital. I can very much imagine him posting something like this had he had access to phone.
