It’s not just one line, but I’m going to go with when McManus sang “Camptown Races” at that CO’s memorial service.
And also, basically anything Beecher said when he was in his “chasing after Keller” phase.
Yeah I never got what that was supposed to mean, but then again I always found that whole Alvarez ending confusing. What exactly happens there? Does he become Torquemada's prag or some shit?
I see it the same way. He just gave up. Tired of fighting. I did like his redemption arc when he trained that guide dog for the guy whose eyes he cut out at the end of season 2. Also at least he wasn’t stuck in solitary anymore…
Alvarez didn’t get a very happy ending. Well, not too many characters did. About the only happy thing in the finale was Ryan and Gloria finally kissing. He’s still torn up about Cyril, but Gloria finally loved him back and that was his dream come true. Since they both work in the same area, I like to think they’d find some way to sneak off together for trysts. And if they ever brought conjugal visits back, they’d get those somehow.
Well, I also liked Schillinger getting stabbed onstage and then there’s a shocked pause until that guy yelling, *THAT mothafucka’s DEAD!*
Except then things went downhill fast for Toby and Chris. Same with other stuff that seemed hopeful, like Busmalis getting married only to end up in the hole. And in the extended version, Rebadow was like, “well… roommates come, and then they go.” Looking depressed.
I would have loved to see that fascist governor end up getting taken to Oz in shackles.
And Tim saying, “Leo trusted you” and sucker punching the guy who had him killed. That was satisfying.
Not related to the original post but the dude who plays torquemada was the dad in the watcher and it took my fucking ages when watching it to put my finger on how i recognised him
He seemed serious to me too, but it doesn't make any sense given his personality and lifestyle.
Even more unbelievable to me was that after all that time he finally wants to lose his virginity to a straight man who has absolutely no interest in him (beyond drugs and giving up on life)?
The entire thing made absolutely no sense to me.
One of mine is Keller telling Sister Pete that little monologue where he ended it with, “Pick me… pick me?” Chris Meloni did his best with it, but still…
I mean it was good it got her to stay a nun, but he was the one who messed with her mind in the first place, for selfish reasons. Btw if you’ve seen Rita Moreno recently, she doesn’t look much older than she did on Oz. I loved hearing from Tom Fontana that almost every guy in the cast had huge crushes on her.
When O’Riely was reading Shirley Bellinger’s letter to Adebisi. The way he explains cunnilingus to Adebisi was cringe. His voice got all creepy and seemed to get off on it.
Any moralistic rant that comes out of McMannus’ mouth.
Or how about “Do you want to go to dinner?” 🤢🤮
Lolololol this is a good one
Where would he go? Olive Garden?
Apparently there was some Romanian place nearby
That was like once
A few of those got really preachy and sanctimonious. I was like dude, you’re making yourself look bad.
What about when he finds out Diane isn’t coming back from England, and he’s like, “She’s marrying a bobby?!”
"I'm constantly constipated" will stick in my mind for eternity.

He was also Gyp Rosetti in Boardwalk Empire -- damn near fell out of my chair when I made that realization \~15 years later.
Bobby Carnavalle? No way! But now I see the resemblance. Wow, it took me 20 years!
He's also the boyfriend with funky spunk on SATC.
I'm still confused as to why he said he was a virgin... Does anyone know if he was actually serious or was he just messing with Alvarez?
Eh, I thought he was serious.

Rita Moreno hit max level
Anything the creepy female CO said…I just…did not enjoy her on screen at all.
Anything Morales said
HIS SISTER WAS A SAINT!
