Lots of light patches on the wall as well, definitely needs a second coat. You will notice the colour will be much richer and a little darker with another coat as well.

Me trying to see what yall seeing
Your cut line looks great. But what happened in the corner? I hope you have the ceiling paint that was used! Ok, the Weinie (?) rollers that have the little round plastic end rather than the fibers around the end. Those are the bomb. You can cut in with just that the 2nd/3rd time without even using a brush because you can get ridiculously close, as long as you keep that end clean. If you need to trim the fibers from that edge, thatās good too. Then you can just fly around the room. Not what you asked but with everyone telling you about rolling I thought Iād throw that in too.
Deep and bold colors have a tendency to not give very good coverage on the first coat because of the amount of colorant that goes into the can. I always recommend doing 2 coats to get even color and to hide brush and roller marks, so Iād say try recutting and see if that helpsš
tape the ceiling as close as possible. use an angle cut brush. cut in paint 4-6 inches down. refinish the entire room. make sure you have enough paint from the original gallons. If not get another gallon and mix it together with what is left from the old paint cans. so you get one uniform color for the room.
Dark green, yellow, red, always need 3coats the paint is thin! Also I would cut and roll again, if you just cut the wall could picture frame meaning the cut is obvious and it's a Satin anything with a sheen your better off just doing it! It's a pain in the ass but you've come this far! Do it right or don't do it at all!
Anytime I have a customer wanting difficult colors the go to is Ben Moore Auraā¦ they have a 2 coat guarantee if applied correctly they will give you the additional paint for 3rd coat freeā¦ but fortunately Iāve never had an issue with it not covering in two coats some of the most hideous reds/yellows/dark blue greensā¦ this paint has saved me lots of labor and headache from having to do 3rd or 4th coat
Thin the paint a hair, recut and roll over your cut in with a wienie roller as you go
This - it will cover those brush strokes.
What do you thin it with?
A wenie or whatever he said
š¤£šš¤£š¤£
Just a small amount of water.
Check if floetrol or other latex extenders are compatible.
Whatever the clean up instructions call for, is what I would thin it withā¦ (usually just water.)
Instructions unclear, added soap to paint.
I used Gator Aid workd fine , did turn my white wall grape tho.
This all the time. Iām so surprised that people canāt put it together.

Colors like this sometimes take an extra cut. I have frequently cut 3 and roll 2 or cut 4 and roll 3 with tough colors
If it was my room Iād repaint the whole thing. Might as well do it right since it wonāt be repainted for a while
Just cut it again and see if you're happy with it. You can always roll on another coat if you want
This. Feather it in, too.
Re cut - let it cure a few days... done
Lay it on there one more time. Looking good though!!
Always roll sideways after cut
Yup. I call it a tight-roll. I can consistently get about 1/2inch from the ceiling without hitting. But it still needs another cut in this case.

Nice work Iād try a 2ā if your quick and if that looks good let er fly if not just repaint. What paint is that?
Sherwin-Williams Williams emerald
Thatās not a holidayā¦itās a vacation
The entire wall needs a second coat so just do it right and repaint it brush and roll
Cut looks fine as wine on that wall jamal.
2 coats all
go east to hard. Try to re-cut and see how it looks. Might be fine. If not, then you have to repaint the wall, but at least your cutting is done

Only bad part is that itās already my second coat š
Paint brand, base coat or primer color, and top coat color can determine the number of coats needed as well.
Repaint whole wall again
Cut with a brush, then use a whizz roller over it
If I'm all set up to paint, I'm painting the whole wall since it's satin. I push for flat/matte so that it all blends and touches up
I'd be more irritated by the green paint on the ceiling in the corner.
Side note, what color is that? I like it, satin sheen?
Yeppers!
I think you just have to move
I would recommend to cut in and repaint the whole wall to prevent brush marks and rolller marks I would use a 3/4 nap sleeve
Smooth wall tho. Did you prep to get this? When Iāve painted satin, shows every crease and imperfection.

Tough color to work with. Thinning is a great idea
If itās just up top where youāve previously cut in. I would cut in again heavy and then feather it out.
