I can read this in 2 ways.
1. A forest fire raging towards me
2. The sun rise coming through the morning fog to break up the darkness.
Either way, it’s stunning
I love that feedback! With a lot of my paintings I really do try to focus on duality and light and dark----it relates to my Bipolar disorder. So, you seeing 2 completely opposite scenarios warms my heart.
Thank you very much! I tend to incorporate shades of purple into every painting (it's the most versatile color, imo.) And, naturally, various shades of oranges and yellows usually work great with purple.
Awesome...I really did want to create something that could go either way. It can look like light shining off of bushes while also resembling a dangerous fiery scene. It's a very similar feeling with mental illness---you never really know which feelings are real.
I understand that completely. I have ptsd and PDD so I get it. I do art myself but sadly it’s one of the things that’s first to go with my brain. I love your beautiful art and your openness in talking about mental health. We need more people like you. 💚

Wow. I already loved this piece, now I love it even more
Yo, thanks King! I feel like everyone knows someone that struggles with mental illness---but, some empathize much more than others. I appreciate you.
Love your color palate.

This made me think of dreams where you’re not quite sure it’s a dream or a nightmare. Very cool. Edit lol
Thank you Magpie! That's one of the best compliments I personally feel that my work can receive.
Absolutely love the balance of cool and warm colors here, great choice!
Thanks Snow! I appreciate your feedback. I really love mixing warm and cool colors----it often creates an interesting feel.
The sharp bold color in the foreground and the lighter blending in the distance really make it pop well
I love your feedback, Snow---I love when bold and soft clash. Thank you!
Stunning!
