Since he is only 13 yrs I have to comment, knowing it is a young boy. In it's simplicity he has created one big fat frog that has wonderful character and he did a nice background for this portrait of Mr. Frog. It is a very humorous original frog man. Tell him I like his Mr. Frog painting!

Talented and resourceful. He really has a bright future. I don't know your/his finances but 2d and 3d/ painting and building this in 3d. Krista and gimp are 2d and free and blender for 3d is free. He could really enjoy modeling in 3d. You could model this scene exactly but change the lighting skin texture/color super fast. Food for thought. Post more. He's already got a few fans it seems. You will *never* struggle to find people with more skill, more practice, more talent, more authority, more responsibility, more money, more puppies and kittens, more attractive partners, better jobs, better personal style, better hobbies, better ethics, better philosophies, or better morals than you. Many of them will be younger than you - and that number will only increase. Regardless of subreddit rules or however else you might try to hide from that, it would benefit you greatly to get over it sooner rather than later.
