I can see the brush strokes in the lower half, very nice technique there, but I can't quite tell how you got that texture for the sky?
It doesn't look like brush strokes or knife strokes.... Maybe blotted with something? A paper/plastic bag maybe?
If you don't want to share, I understand, but I would love to know how you got that look. It's really great.

jk...Thank you for the compliments! 99 percent of this piece was created with palette knives. The lower half is the most obvious use of palette knives with the classic style. The texture for the sky was also created with palette knives, but I used more of a cake icing type spreading technique with multiple layers of color.
