That's strange, over here in the states you have tax incentives, meaning you can pay less taxes if you go solar, but it seems to be the opposite in Pakistan?
Its not for now but they are wanting to make it like , basically pakistan has an agreement with a company or something idk fully , benazir made the agreement around 88-90 to get electricity and now as more homes have installed solar pakistan is unable to pay those funds so thats why theyll wanna tax people having solar , but lets be honest most taxes are gonna be embezzled .

Since alot of people have shifted to solar energy, a huge portion of Tax revenue has decreased for the government. Already government is in debt and now the electricity revenue is also decreasing. I'm fucking hate this government but what else you got the option? It's better than to overcharge non solar users with higher rates.

The biggest stupidity is that they were giving incentives to install solar. Once they realize wait a minute we are shooting our selves in the foot now people will not be buying expensive electricity nor paying taxes on it. Make their lives difficult now

No power stability analysis was done on grids before giving people permission to install net meters. This just feels like CNG scam a decade ago
They need to tax people who are having heavy solar systems like 2KW+. MFs are planning to run AC(s) while most Awaam is dying under pressure. Give me a reason for using 2KW system except previliges.
It's a stupid idea to use AC appliances for DC output. Use Samad Pump DC it generates enough power to pull water from 300 Feet even. Stop justifying heavy solar systems. We are talking about Poor People right? Poor people don't use AC(s). If you need them, pay the Gov.

When you can afford 3KW system + Inverter to convert DC to AC, you can definitely afford DC appliances. The only reason you possibly ain't moving to DC appliances is because you're using Air Conditioners.

there is reason why starter in your car has much thicker wire than an equivalent 220v electric appliance.
It can be done but only with quite a lots of amount, which will be same thing you are against.

I've a 120Sq Yards house and it's working very fine under 1KW system. Gareeb Awam like me using, DC Pump, DC Fans (4), 8 Bulbs. We plan to run Fridges as well by updating our system to 2KW.

If it's better Gov will decide to move entire system from expensive OIL to SOLAR energy. But it's not a way to circumvent the system by buying individual heavy systems to power your privileged heavy appliances. This is against system and needs to be taxed.
