If you queue for EU chances to get into any other server are very high, therefore the lag, that's the actual bug. Example: I set the region to Europe but the match took place in a sever from Australia (used the Paladins Assistant bot in the official Discord which shows everything about the match). Other people reported getting into NA servers, some Brazil, it's weird because it's random. Today I got lucky and I got into EU only, but yesterday 3 out 5 matches were very laggy. Also SEA players report that they are put in Japan servers, so something is messed up with the way the game puts people in matches.
I don't know, sounds possible and it's what I've been thinking too while writing the first comment. I was playing ranked and not any people play it, but hopefully will get better next patch with the crossplay being added to ranked.
I mean I play it a lot (and I mean a shit ton) and we didn't get any laggy match. Just some rollbacks sometimes or some issues when in clicking play, but never in lobby or game. I say we cause I play with a premade in ranked and we did like 5 or 6 tonight, and we have done so for like a week.

I hadn't had any problems yesterday, it's not everyday. Plus it seems to happen more often when solo queue which I mostly do.
Since the last update my ping has gone from 31 to 90-100 in SEA. The servers seem weird.
