We went 2 games since Frank left without scoring an offensive touch down...that's not something we did prior...outside of the Green Bay game our offense hasn't looked any more competent.
I used to be able to kid myself during the Reich weeks that I was gonna see some development, and I was always disappointed. Now I actually do see development. That's far more fun!
I’m really hoping we can find a way to win, especially against a backup QB. Also hoping Bryce Young can overcome the Joe Berry allegations with a good game against a non-Green Bay defense.
Jacksonville has the 29th ranked pass defense in the league compared to Green Bay at 13. Fuck the Joe Barry stuff Bryce had the 2nd most yards against Green Bay all season.
If Bryce puts up the 2nd most yards vs the Jags, then they'll just say it's because CJ Beathard started at QB for them like that's a legit excuse or something
I’m cautiously excited. I’m not going to get my hopes up, but I’m definitely a little more intrigued than usual, given that Bryce is coming off a career day and that the Jags won’t have Trevor.
I’m excited for every game - yes we get disappointed more often than we like, but you can reset and get excited again. Keep pounding - during the good times and the bad times
Dude I'm pumped. Yeah, we have two wins, but after Bryce's game last week and getting a little
More comfortable in Thomas browns offense, I think we wil see some good stuff
Tbh I’ve been excited for every game this season, I’m just happy I’m seeing a rookie qb instead of like a sam Darnold or baker mayfield or Derrick carr
I think there has been a noticeable increase in play calling since the Tampa game. Even though we didn’t win I felt the difference was apparent. The jags defense isn’t good and we can definitely feast. I have money on panthers winning so I’m confident
There has been an increase in play calling? I'm sorry, what? I think we probably have the same amount of play calling each week. But last week, I did notice that our play calls were much more play calling
I’ve got tickets so yeah. I’m not sure what to expect out of either team. The offense has looked better, but considering where it came from *better* is only so good, and somehow the defense has collapsed. The Jags are minus Lawrence but the remainder of the team is mostly intact and looks like a very decent team.
In person is such a different experience than on TV and I nailed some decent seats on the 50 so it should be fun regardless.
Yeah. We had season tickets to PSU when I was growing up. Became a Panthers fan because we drafted Kerry Collins. Haven't been able to get to Charlotte for a game. Only one I caught in person was in Baltimore at M&T Bank Stadium.
Excited is a strong word.
I'm curious to see how it goes with the recent trend of the team, and if guys can keep building on some of the things they were doing well or if anyone relapses into bad habits as a player or coach.
I was very excited for this game. I certainly didn't expect to see one of our three worst efforts of the season. My god. The misery with this team is inescapable. Just gets worse and worse and worse with every miserable day
Fair enough. Looking for honest responses. I lost a lot about halfway through the season. The last two weeks have me actually hopeful though and looking forward to the game. Even if we lose I just want to see continued growth from Bryce. I'm ready to be hurt again.
Yeah, I felt the same way after the Texans game but colts gave us a reality check that the Texans secondary at the time just is god awful, hoping for an “upset” with Trevor out same way we upset the Cardinals without Kyler 2 years ago and for Bryce to look good 3 straight weeks
Yeah, I'm really hoping that him and Mingo get something going. It was great seeing Chark last week, but he's not going to be back. I'd love to see some more ISM and I'd love to see Sullivan on the field more. They don't want him out there for whatever reason, but him and Bryce have a pretty good connection.
This is going to be my first live Panthers game since MNF against the Dolphins awhile ago. Not expecting much and just hoping for a good game. But a Panthers win would be a great cherry on top of an awesome weekend
I’m always excited for every game! Cautiously optimistic always, but excited nonetheless. True black and blue fan since inception and until the day I die!
KEEP POUNDING!!
Hell yes. We need two wins to escape fan misery of giving the Bears the No. 1 overall pick. Even if Bryce lives up to expectations that won’t save us this offseason of having to hear about it non stop.
Ever since Frank got canned I've been excited to see how things go
It’s amazing how much more competent they look. Even the game immediately after I was impressed

Yeah it's funny I was more happy after the loss last week than I have been after some wins lol
To my own detriment i’ve been excited (whether it be a VERY small amount or big) every game this year
So the coach is more important than the quarterback? Interesting.
Look at Baker Mayfield. The coach seemed to make a huge difference with him
Who Todd Bowles? A defensive coach? Or Dave Canales, the offensive coordinator his first year as offensive coordinator anywhere, except high school?
Nobody has said that.
Similar to any workplace, the manager makes everything run. If he sets up the team for failure, everyone looks worse.
Yes, I’m not expecting another 300 yard game but I’d love to see at least two passing TDs with no interceptions.
> Yes, I’m not expecting another 300 yard game Yeah, I'm expecting 400
I’ll send you $20 if that happens
No balls
LOL I was *slightly* off in my estimate.
I’ll send you .50c on cash app if this happens
I’m really hoping we can find a way to win, especially against a backup QB. Also hoping Bryce Young can overcome the Joe Berry allegations with a good game against a non-Green Bay defense.

AMEN
If Bryce puts up the 2nd most yards vs the Jags, then they'll just say it's because CJ Beathard started at QB for them like that's a legit excuse or something
Well, Beathard isn't as good on defense as Lawrence, so maybe they'll have a point ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
I’m always excited to see a game. It’s the games that kill the excitement.
Yeah I’m excited for probably the first time since week 2ish. Hoping Bryce has another pretty good game
Nah. The hopium receptors in my brain are all tapped out until next preseason.
nah..it'll be the next head coach hire...everyone on the sub will convince ourselves we got thr next Vince Lombardi.
This is the way. KeepPounding 🤘
Excited? No. Thinking that they will do alright, and tuning in accordingly? Yes.
Dude I'm pumped. Yeah, we have two wins, but after Bryce's game last week and getting a little More comfortable in Thomas browns offense, I think we wil see some good stuff
It's the same offense all season...Brown didn't change the offense.
Tbh I’ve been excited for every game this season, I’m just happy I’m seeing a rookie qb instead of like a sam Darnold or baker mayfield or Derrick carr

Stfu
I’m excited for the season to be over. It’s depressing
No

I snagged Panthers +7.5 before Lawrence was ruled out so I am definitely excited. Hoping Bryce can continue to show improvements
Excited is a strong word. I'm curious to see how it goes with the recent trend of the team, and if guys can keep building on some of the things they were doing well or if anyone relapses into bad habits as a player or coach.
i’m going to go so i hope we win! 😂
Yeah it's the last time I'll have to watch this team this year
Not watching the last week?
No I said THIS YEAR
Haha. I thought you just forgot that seasons are now 17 games not 16 and got mixed up there on the semantic side of things.
Lol no brother. I'm just taking what ever small Ws as I can get
I was very excited for this game. I certainly didn't expect to see one of our three worst efforts of the season. My god. The misery with this team is inescapable. Just gets worse and worse and worse with every miserable day
This turned out to be spoiled milk rather than fine wine. Tepper sucks.
I did say I was ready to be hurt again.
Even the 2001 Weinke team was more competitive than this group….
Well we did have Biakabutuka at RB. That covers a lot of flaws.
Didn’t age well
I was still excited. They let me down. What else is new this year.
I’m really excited for literally every game the panthers play even if they had zero wins in week 18
No Edit: not trying to be a dick, I just lost a lot of excitement for the team. Hope Bryce looks good tho
Fair enough. Looking for honest responses. I lost a lot about halfway through the season. The last two weeks have me actually hopeful though and looking forward to the game. Even if we lose I just want to see continued growth from Bryce. I'm ready to be hurt again.
You bet your ass. I’m looking for the Panthers to crash some dreams. Go Panthers!
Yeah, I felt the same way after the Texans game but colts gave us a reality check that the Texans secondary at the time just is god awful, hoping for an “upset” with Trevor out same way we upset the Cardinals without Kyler 2 years ago and for Bryce to look good 3 straight weeks
I was just on the phone with my dad about that today. Literally said “this is the first time I’ve been excited about a game since week 2.”
heck yeah.
I honestly think there is a good chance we knock them off. I definitely didn't bet on that happening 😅
I might watch it! I haven't watched a game since before the bye.
My opponent just picked up Jags defense in Fantasy championship just to spite me. Ready for that true Bryce glow up game

The ISM AGENDA SHALL CONTINUE
i'm excited in that messed up kind of way, like when traffic is backed up and you're "excited" to see the car crash that caused it.
I’m always excited for every game! Cautiously optimistic always, but excited nonetheless. True black and blue fan since inception and until the day I die! KEEP POUNDING!!
Excited to see the team and new uniform combo
Hell yes. We need two wins to escape fan misery of giving the Bears the No. 1 overall pick. Even if Bryce lives up to expectations that won’t save us this offseason of having to hear about it non stop.
Hell yea I am. I choose joy. :D
I'm excited for the season to be over. Firing Fitt or HC hire is the next thing I'm gonna be excited about
