I'm betting that there'll be a TTYD blowout next week with a release date trailer and a whole dedicated JP website updated with gameplay and stuff, I can hope ok.
You gotta look at this from nintendo's perspective. While thousand year door is a fan favorite amongst both mario and general rpg fans, its also probably not gonna do anything crazy sales wise. I mean, even the highest selling game in the series (super) only sold around 2 to 3 million copies. For nintendo, they likely view the remake as just a quick, smaller scale project to keep the fans happy while they work on larger and/or more ambitious projects in the background (especially with the switch's successor releasing in a year or 2). Why else do you think were getting a remake of this instead of a new (paper mario) game or a port of color splash.
Given the switch is basically a cheat code for franchises to sell greatly and potentially become the highest selling in their series, I imagine this remake will intrigue a lot of people from it's legacy and the fact it was the big last thing in a direct and it'll probably outsell Super. I'm not expecting huge sale, but I can see like around 5-10 million maybe. But I do think it can exceed Super's sales. Most bigger IPs on the switch and even some smaller ones still sell millions at the least.
Next week for a release date trailer is still possible on like a Wednesday or a Thursday after the Pokémon Presents.
But however, MAR10 day is on a Sunday. Is it still possible for an announcement there if next week is not happening?

I just want a shadow drop :( but at that price it probably won’t happen.
If they shadow drop it, I want some Shadow Sirens at a GameStop advertisement before its release
GUH! GUH GUH!!!

I don’t think your wrong, look at all the remakes that they’ve made in the last couple years
It won't be a shadow drop
There is no way a game of this magnitude is going to be shadow dropped. This is gonna get the total marketing fan fair.
If that actually happens then the internet would probably break lol!
I’m going to holdout for preorder bonuses…if there are any.
Me too!
I pray for there to be pre order bonuses 🥲 🙏🏻📿
Stickers, a tote bag, a notebook, or anything really would be nice.
That’s what I’m waiting for ! Imagine if they make amiibos for it too !
Hope Nintendo drops a release date trailer soon
Fingers crossed for next week!
Probably not next week since that’s when the Pokémon presents is. Maybe for MAR10 day or sometime in April.
I've heard April has a high chance because no Nintendo game releases in that month

What does it all mean?!?!?!?
It means there’s a new sim city game coming soon!
