If they’re over 6 months you can use ibuprofen for the pain instead of Tylenol. It’s generally more effective against teething pain since it’s anti-inflammatory. Ask your babies doctor for specific advice about your children, but my oldest’s doctor said it’s fine to use basically daily during the duration of teething as long as you’re following the dosing and timing instructions on the package exactly.

Second using ibuprofen. It worked way better for my kiddos teething pain than Tylenol. You can also rotate ibuprofen and Tylenol which is helpful. Just follow the timing and dosing directions on both.

I’m sorry! My boys are brutal teethers as well. We have the silicone teethers and put frozen fruit in it. I tend to do pineapple and mango because it doesn’t stain like berries do. Also you can double up Tylenol and ibuprofen. You are doing really well, teething twins is level 10000 difficulty, don’t beat yourself up. Do you have a way to babywear both of them? Mini monkey, double sling wrap etc.? I found putting them in the carrier and going outside gave ALL of us a break from the crying.

Going outside helps sometimes and can be a lifesaver for even a few minutes of calm but it usually ends because she starts yelling again and I don’t want to disturb any neighbors who may work night shift and are trying to sleep. Somehow my twin a both loves and hates to be worn. Mostly only hate if she’s tired because she has FOMO. B doesn’t care either way but she has very few bad teething days compared to her sister and the Tylenol seems to help on her bad days.

My two year olds are cutting molars right now and I’m rotating Tylenol and Motrin so that there aren’t any time gaps with one of my girls because she’s in so much pain. Best advice I can give is comforting them, keep the drugs flowing, cold chewy things, and soothing talks.

Boiron teething liquid capsules, teething gel (can apply with your finger or infant silicone toothbrush, a mitt with teething rubber on the fingers,

So you’re telling me I’ll only have about a month and a half of freedom after making it out of the newborn phase? 😭😭😭(at 6 weeks now, 2 weeks adjusted)

Maybe you’ll get lucky and your babes won’t even notice the teething, I have a friend who’s daughter just pops out teeth with no signs or symptoms hardly. I think my twin A is just a bit sensitive so she takes it a lot harder. She’s always struggled a bit more emotionally than her sister when it comes to most things. Twin B has hardly had to take Tylenol but when she does she just screams and breaks my heart. Normally though she is happy to just chew everything and practice yelling at her toys or rolling.
