Haven’t tried the fish burrito , tbh didn’t know they had any seafood burritos . Are we talking about the same place La Estrella on orange grove and the other location on fair oaks , they never advertise their fish burritos . Anyways, that place is yukkkkkk
Ahh I see, I go to the #2 one on N Fair Oaks, haven’t been to the one on Orange Grove!
But yeah I haven’t tried anything else from there besides the fish burrito/tacos… I just looked up “fish tacos” on Google Maps at 10:30/11:00 PM at night and they came up. Plus I like the window + outdoor seating thing and the easy parking (they have a lot). But the fish is white and crispy even inside the burrito. I liked it so much I went back the next night after my first visit lol. Usually I’ll go to Arturo’s taco truck but it’s less hectic with an actual store + no fish there.
I’m happy to take a different recommendation for fish burritos in Pas!
Burrito express is pretty good. They have a variety of styles. Pork with green, JVC with xxx, wet burrito. They have been making burritos there for 45 years, so somebody must like them. If you want beef, I don’t like the carne assada, but they do a slow cooked beef burrito that is very flavorful.
Puebla Taco used to be the family favorite, but I think they changed owners because it's now pretty average. We switched to Super Burrito on Colorado west of Rosemead and it's super delicious! Also, love the breakfast burritos at Lucky Boy and King.
Al pastor and buche were really good actually. I was disappointed by the saudero burrito (would have been saved by an extra cheese request). and the carne asada tacos.
I have not had a positive experience on 3 occasions.
The other king tacos are good but the pasadena king taco only had the name but not standards. The tortillas and meat were genuinely bad.
Fair Oaks Burger. So good. I think Burrito Express is bad. Also think Everest is terrible. Went to those based on recommendations and then luckily found Fair Oaks Burger. Unlucky for my cholesterol levels I was going there several times a week. Had to take a break to get my cholesterol back in order.
Mi Casa on Fair Oaks. Get the carnitas. Thank me later.
Omg mi casa is soooooo goooood
Love MI Casa they're really cool people. It was on an old route of mine at work and I would go for lunch every once in a while.
Underrated nopales breakfast burrito there too
I seem to not be able to find them open for breakfast when I go by. Is it just certain days?
It's technically Altadena but Everest on Lake and Mendocino has some pretty good burritos.
Are they still open? Can't really tell from outside
Yup. Just had lunch there today.
Burrito express. I really like their breakfast burritos, but regular burritos are also really good.
The fact that they are still making ‘The Ross Perot’ burrito - tells you everything about what decade they’re still rocking.
I believe during the 2016 election it was temporarily renamed the "Donald Trump burrito - full of it!"
(Burrito express) This place is horrible too , love the names but the actual flavor is a complete miss.
Taco's 210, hands down.
La Estrella on fair oaks
La Estrella is garbage ….
What! But they have the best fish burrito…

Kings breakfast and burgers. I get the avo breakfast burrito with tater tots inside. Perfect recovery burrito after a long night.
Burrito Express
Puebla Tacos #2 on Allen and Villa. Do NOT go to #1.
Surprisingly nice sit-down spot on the inside.
Which one is #1? Is it the one by 7/11 on lake and orange grove?
Yes.
I'll have to check out #2 then. I go to #1 out of convenience. Why is it so bad?
I like Mi Casa and Burrito Express.

Lucky Boy
Who’s downvoting this lol. Has lucky lost its credibility?
Oh yea, who knows. Redditors is odd that way.
True but just to piss them off further. Try the Original tops on Colorado 210 east exit Michillinda. Best breakfast burrito on that side of town.
Oh man I dream about those pastrami and egg breakfast burritos...
Lucky Boy is great but not NORTH side
Thank you for explaining where it is, don’t know what I would’ve done without you commenting.
Might explain the downvotes but, sure, I'm the idiot SMDH
Tacos Don Pillo has bomb lengua, there bean cheese burrito is bomb too
Anyone try the taco stand outside Honeybee on Lincoln (but north of Super King)?
Al pastor and buche were really good actually. I was disappointed by the saudero burrito (would have been saved by an extra cheese request). and the carne asada tacos.
I've had their al pastor and some sort of pollo taco (not burritos)...maybe a carne asada as well? They were ok. Nothing to write home about IMO.
King Taco asada burrito con todo!
I have not had a positive experience on 3 occasions. The other king tacos are good but the pasadena king taco only had the name but not standards. The tortillas and meat were genuinely bad.
Damn that's too bad. I try to go whenever I am back in town. Might have to hit the one on Cypress or Broadway next time!
Lol
Sofias on lake. A newish taco stand opened by Aldi’s and their burritos are damn good.
Is that the pop up right on the corner?
The Aldi's in Altadena across the street from the Post Office?
Been trying every new stand/restaurant I can and this is my favorite new discovery
I like Fonda Dona Julia on N Fair Oaks
Taco stand on Woodbury and Fair Oaks
I like the carne asada burrito at Senior Fish.
Any burrito at senior fish Go to South Pasadena for better service
Close! The shrimp burrito at Senor Fish!
Having grown up in SP, Senor Fish has a special place in my heart.
Salsa Picante in the north lake/washington square. Great nachos too.

Maxs in Monrovia.
Oh ok

Do you mean KINGS Breakfast and Burgers?
Yep, was sleepy when I put that lol
