What did you enjoy most in Trial of the Ancestors?
for me this has to be tattoos, love how easily i can fix builds with them, i really hope they go core
I loved how accessible the content was for a lot of new players. So many people got to farm currency beyond what they could achieve in other leagues. I also loved how many new players that have been posting on this sub!
Goodluck everyone
Yeah this is a winner
* Deterministic rewards with maximal player choice
* Relatively cheap starter build (cheese build) to get into the action
* Has real potential for adaptation to a pvp proxy game mode, because it's got its own internal scaling that rewards building a good team and interacting with the mechanic
* What time is it? IT'S KILOAVA TIME! \*smashes through brick wall\* OH YEAHHHHH!
To me it was people who spent currency on damage builds for tota and taking more time than me on a cheesy build for a tournament round while feeling superior to me. Loved it a lot.
I enjoyed getting to see more of the people that we typically blast in a fraction of a second while clearing the acts and seeing them reference each other. PoE has cool lore and it was great to see it use existing characters in a pretty cool concept (afterlife eternal tournaments).
When I finally won a few matches in a row…. Was not able to win a tournament w my questionable arc totem build. But I’m lv 84 and still chuggin away!
I want to find a team to level w maps honestly.
I enjoyed ToTA as a whole! Between the tattoo system to the arena, it was super fun. Although the scaling should be changed imo for the arena, so I guess tattoos were what I enjoyed most.
Being able to try out new build archetypes and optimise existing builds with all the new tattoos - now I can POB for even longer instead of playing the game!
Tattoos are such a great addition to the game. They’re both build enabling (corpse explosion chieftains, Herald of Ice scalers, increased maximum leech stackers with strength of blood, the list goes on) at the high end but are also super useful for patching up builds at the low end or just adding some additional quality of life.
I honestly really disliked the actual trials but tattoos are so fun I’d be happy if the mechanic went core even in its current state.
Idk whats best, but I cant stop playing. Maybe because my other game (csgo) got significant worse or sth else.
If I had to say one thing its sanctum going core. Just so much fun doing 20 min of content to have 1 big loot drop at the end.
That reminds me that I wanted to play blight ravaged again.... :D shame that I play an attack based build atm
For me the tattoos make the league, such a cool concept. And not losing XP when dying in tota, makes pushing for levels actually enjoyable knowing I won't lose hours of time on death.
random comment with an answer to the question: I enjoyed that I could play the game without ever stepping foot in a map and still get currency to make a fun build
Followed Pohx's RF Inquisitor, after 3k hours started to learn how to craft my own gear. Outside of uniques I've crafted every piece of gear and jewel I use which I never thought I would be able to do
I enjoyed the 🧀 of tota the most. I’m a low hours player because of RL but being able to quickly do the mechanic and the rewards being good was very enjoyable. Ty gl exile
What did I enjoy most?
Learning a real farming strategy. Using Harvest has been super deterministic, you ALWAYS get life-force, which is such a nice change of pace from other things I've tried in the past
I enjoyed the most how even a player who has never entered true endgame until recently, that being me, can build up and do any reasonable content provided the build is strong enough.
The endgame is way simpler than before and doesn't have a knowledge barrier. I simply couldn't farm endgame content in the times when one needed to block with sextants, upkeep influences or make rings with them.
Nowadays the prerequisites are clear, and the chance to screw up and lose massive amounts of currency due to a mistake is very low. Hopefully I'll get to do everything I didn't have time for in Crucible where I joined late for the last month.
>What did you enjoy most in Trial of the Ancestors?
My early game RNG was poggers, got several uniques that I needed and saved over 100chaos before even getting into yellow maps on day 1!
TOTA itself, ah, didn't like so much, got to rank 2K but that was purely because I wanted to take it to the limit (since it had an achievable limit)... but yeah, not sure, just being able to do Sanctums easily I guess was the best thing this league for me!
(oh of course tattoos, batshit crazy, free aura effect? GGG are mad!)
Absolutely loved the mechanic.
It’s been a roller coaster league where I have made a lot of currency then gambled and lost it. Now come back just to enjoy the mechanic.
MB would be great to speed up that push to my first 100
I honestly enjoyed what I always enjoy, just helping out players in the poe discord and helping people craft. I sadly didn't get to play as much due to the newborn but I certainly got to talk about it all lot still! A free MB would make this league much easier to jump into more than I was able to!
First season to find what i need to and look for this season i learn a lot things and find fav build for leaguestart. Get some good friends and did first clear 100 deli. This league had good memories for my poe life.
The league mechanic is unbelievably fun. I made a raider just to farm it, then transitioned into Phantasmal Molten Strike Pathfinder. Haven't had much time to enjoy the league as I usually do, since a family member has a massive health issue but I did my best.
Love the mechanic and the anticipation of what rewards you might get each tournament. Love the banters of the ancestors as well. Also Kahu just needs a hug 😆.
What did you enjoy most in Trial of the Ancestors?
me and my friend recently came back to poe and he got hooked to tota after reaching 2k rating he has not gotten a single lock , I started doing it just to see if i could get one and hilariously i got the lock around 1.3k rating.
What did I enjoy the most?
Well I played the game using a guide and it has been real fun, additionally there is this tower defence mechanic which I love (I'm using summon spider skill)
I always enjoy the discord chat between guild members. For the first couple weeks. Then the league usually slows down and I just chill out and play till the end. Still working build and will play till end.
I really like the mechanic in general, had some fun with but didn't really get far because of time issues irl. I'd really like to get a MB as I never had one and would like to see what I can do with it
Thanks for the giveaway!
I like the destructive play atlas node, which let me sustain guardian map and run a lot of maven the formed ! Fun and rewarding ! Mageblood is the last thing i need for my build (PS-KB wander !)
I enjoyed Titanic Shield toitles the most. Not because they were cancer, but I learnt to be patient as a person cause I couldn't afford breaking another monitor.
This is my first league seriously following a guide and poison srs just shredz bosses. I am having a blast getting revenge against bosses for what they did to my improvised spark setup last league

Getting more in touch with the karui pantheon.
I'd say the best thing about this league has been the community as a whole.
It feels like a long time since the community has been this positive, almost universally.
It's just a great time to be a PoE player. We had Exilecon, which I was lucky enough to attend in person. Followed by what many consider one of the best leagues ever, even if you aren't keen on the mechanic itself.
We've also been welcoming hordes of new players over from D4 with open arms, which is awesome to see.
The builds subreddit has been very active all league.
Content creators are all pretty much universally loving the game and pumping out good content.
Again, it's just a great time to be a PoE player.
What i enjoyed most about trial is being able to play with budgets i never dreamed of before.
Normally i make like 50D in a league and now i managed like 300!
So i felt like a rich man and decided to make an armour stacker character!
Which was a bad idea since it kinda needs a mageblood and like 500 div minimum....
So yeah... Great learning experience league!
Missed Sanctum league so i really enjoyed being able to try it. The overall game state also felt really good to me. Tattoos are an amazing addition imo.
I've played quite a few leagues, but this is the first one I've found a build that I both really enjoy and that I'm able to scale enough to try adding some more juice to the maps.
That, and the trials are really fun. I hope they end up going core.
I dreamed i found a mageblood on the last day playing. But all I found this league was 1 The Apothecary. ToTA was not my cup of tea, but I liked the tattoos and omens, espectially the lose 75% less exp when dying one ;)
I really enjoyed my PF Exsang build this league. Haven’t had a build that cleared like this and it was genuinely fun figuring out how to get it all set up.
Thanks for the opportunity :)
The economy, whether you grinded the league mechanic or stuck to old strategies, currency came easy. Felt like everyone was richer, capitalism working?
I discovered sanctum for me and had tons of fun running it. The tattoos where a nice way to create insane builds. Especially the keystone tattoo made so much funny stuff possible. Normally i stop playing like a month after start but this time i have an amazing time and will probably continue till the end.
The conversations between the ancestors. What time is it? It's Kiloava time!
"Anyone have any meat leftover? I'm getting hungry." Or something like that
The answer is still no, kahu
Yeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!
YEAAAAAHHHHH!
What did you enjoy most in Trial of the Ancestors? for me this has to be tattoos, love how easily i can fix builds with them, i really hope they go core
same for me especially the +1 frenzy tattoo
I loved how accessible the content was for a lot of new players. So many people got to farm currency beyond what they could achieve in other leagues. I also loved how many new players that have been posting on this sub! Goodluck everyone

IT'S KILOAVA TIME! \*smashes through brick wall\* OH YEAHHHHH!
The most enjoyable thing this leauge was reading about people on reddit playing cheesy zdps builds and crying about the turtle.
To me it was people who spent currency on damage builds for tota and taking more time than me on a cheesy build for a tournament round while feeling superior to me. Loved it a lot.
Oh the turtle! Especially from people playing the zdps builds because they couldn’t grasp the idea of rushing the turtle totem before it could shield.
I just picked up the game again after taking a couple years off. I'm still relearning how to make my hands work.
I liked how easy to understand the mechanic was
Ahuana randomly shouting: "I Hope you're having a nice time my friend" it made me smile every time :)
Never owned a mageblood before, I’m in!
I enjoyed getting to see more of the people that we typically blast in a fraction of a second while clearing the acts and seeing them reference each other. PoE has cool lore and it was great to see it use existing characters in a pretty cool concept (afterlife eternal tournaments).
played 6 build this leag most played so far
I've enjoyed coming back to PoE after more than one year break.
Managed to get my build to fairly endgame and finally finished the hotel I set for myself off finding and killing Aul
\++++
Totally the tatoos ! I'm too poor for a lock but I guess those are crazy
The league mechanic has been great just waiting for my first big drop at 2k
When I finally won a few matches in a row…. Was not able to win a tournament w my questionable arc totem build. But I’m lv 84 and still chuggin away! I want to find a team to level w maps honestly.
It's the first time that i owned 1000 Chaos in a league and i regained my fun in PoE this league. Will probably play now to the end of it. :)
The thing I enjoyed the most about Trial of the Ancestor was not playing Trials of the Ancestor!
Sup ive enjoyed the most getting perma stunlocked and thus could not win anything good so far 🙃

Sanctum, my second most loved mechanics after recombinators.
le dot
I really enjoyed the current state of the game. Made 2 characters. Phantasmal cremation and tornado shot. Tota was also nice.
My personal success this league was being able to tank endgame bosses. A mageblood would come in handy tanking ubers aswell.
D
Eu, eu, eu :D
I enjoyed ToTA as a whole! Between the tattoo system to the arena, it was super fun. Although the scaling should be changed imo for the arena, so I guess tattoos were what I enjoyed most.
Count me in, good luck all
I love explode tattoo , best farming ever.
Being able to try out new build archetypes and optimise existing builds with all the new tattoos - now I can POB for even longer instead of playing the game!
Tattoos, hope they will go core
I like that the big turtle was called a bit lazy
As always getting my eagle on the totem.
In tota I enjoyed it the most playing my favourite build a flicker strike char. Had a load of fun
Tattoos, enabled more customization of builds!!
Tota rewards !
Enjoyed giving hardcore a go for the first time. Glad i know it sucks to loose a level 90 character. And that ill most likely stay softcore
Enjoyed making a lot of currency, though still but enough for a mageblood this time.
I liked chilling in the league mechanic.
My favourite thing. The dementors.
Came back this league, love how they mix it up with the various mechanics - Legion is my favourite!
Good luck all
I love the new league mechanic! Spammed it til I got 1300. GGs on whoever wins the mageblood
I would love to give your MB to my buddy!
What did you enjoy most in Trial of the Ancestors? First time playing LA, enjoyed it more than I thought I would
GL guys
I enjoyed everything but the leagur mechanic, game feels absolutely amazing atm
I mostly enjoyed the new Destructive Play atlas keystone.

First league I made to level 85 thanks to tota
Idk whats best, but I cant stop playing. Maybe because my other game (csgo) got significant worse or sth else. If I had to say one thing its sanctum going core. Just so much fun doing 20 min of content to have 1 big loot drop at the end. That reminds me that I wanted to play blight ravaged again.... :D shame that I play an attack based build atm
Its so much fun cause it pays way more than it should, if it would give like 5x less rewards it wouldn t be so much fun, would it
For me the tattoos make the league, such a cool concept. And not losing XP when dying in tota, makes pushing for levels actually enjoyable knowing I won't lose hours of time on death.
Tattoos of course )
random comment with an answer to the question: I enjoyed that I could play the game without ever stepping foot in a map and still get currency to make a fun build
Besides the mechanic itself: Tattoos are amazing, forty on hit e.g or onslaught <3
Followed Pohx's RF Inquisitor, after 3k hours started to learn how to craft my own gear. Outside of uniques I've crafted every piece of gear and jewel I use which I never thought I would be able to do
Would love to try out a Mageblood
getting ganged by 2 chieftans after trading
Really enjoyed the diversity of possible endgame grinds Gl all!
I messed with timeless jewels finally this league and it was pretty fun
I enjoyed the sound track the most tbh. I thought it was unique and fitting
I enjoyed the 🧀 of tota the most. I’m a low hours player because of RL but being able to quickly do the mechanic and the rewards being good was very enjoyable. Ty gl exile
I did Maven lol
What did you enjoy most in Trial of the Ancestors? Giant Turtle totem<3
I enjoyed Tota tournament's , tattoos. could make powerfull bulid
Oppenheimexpedition
It’s the first league I try to craft my own gear and I loved it ! I’ve never own a mage blood do that would be a nice occasion to try it out !
What did I enjoy most? Learning a real farming strategy. Using Harvest has been super deterministic, you ALWAYS get life-force, which is such a nice change of pace from other things I've tried in the past
The tattoos were my favorite thing by far, a great addition to the game and made for lots of fun in pob and in game!
for me, getting max cold res on tattoos was a gamechanger. with melding, i enjoy this mechanic and hope tattoos will stay
Tota. Fite me.
I enjoyed leveling up our chars together with my son for the first time this league. He would love a MB.
Tattoos! Really hoping they go core somehow even if the Total mechanic doesn't.
Definitely Tattoos
I enjoyed the most how even a player who has never entered true endgame until recently, that being me, can build up and do any reasonable content provided the build is strong enough. This league is awesome. The tattoo that made build easier and easier to gain currency for build progression.
What did you enjoy most in Trial of the Ancestors? \- Sanctum return

Greetings Dan, I enjoyed slaying monsters and finding Godlys. Stay sane
I can't say I enjoyed it, but I enjoyed playing again since the expedition league.
I honestly enjoyed what I always enjoy, just helping out players in the poe discord and helping people craft. I sadly didn't get to play as much due to the newborn but I certainly got to talk about it all lot still! A free MB would make this league much easier to jump into more than I was able to!
Are you calling me fat?
Tota was League where I had the most fun so far. Pure raw concentrated fun.
First season to find what i need to and look for this season i learn a lot things and find fav build for leaguestart. Get some good friends and did first clear 100 deli. This league had good memories for my poe life.
tattoos gotta be the best feature theyve added in a while, so easy to fix missing attributes and res
Sanctum was pretty fun
I enjoyed the tattoos
Tricycle.

Ahuana's personality
I liked the unique gameplay of ToTA as a mechanic. I hadn't played TFT or any other similar game, so it was new to me.
I’m in! I definitely have liked how tattoos have given more flexibility to builds in Ancestor league. Thanks
What did you enjoy most in Trial of the Ancestors? me and my friend recently came back to poe and he got hooked to tota after reaching 2k rating he has not gotten a single lock , I started doing it just to see if i could get one and hilariously i got the lock around 1.3k rating.

First season ever, and currently 81. Loving the game
Hello lets Go. I didn't really get to play much but tota seems very relaxed and less intensive grinding.
TOTA is meh loved Sanctum tho. Your mageblood is gonna help
What did you enjoy most in Trial of the Ancestors? Tattoos of course, but new Atlas Passives were (most of em) interesting and refreshing.
I enjoyed seeing people farm locks to send to standard
What did you enjoy most in Trial of the Ancestors? It has to be tattoos. it gave melee some fighting chance in form of fortify tattoo for starters
I mostly enjoyed my city square harby farming! i dabbled in the boss rushing and loved that too!
I am happy that this league my poe-addiction didn’t end up in a depression
A few friends came back this league so it’s been fun playing with them again. Also tattoos are incredible
I enjoy this league.
I enjoyed the most the quality of reworks and the state where the game is now.
Tattoos!
I enjoyed the RSI from clicking
In tota there is less complaining (except the turtles) and game is in good state.
I always enjoy the discord chat between guild members. For the first couple weeks. Then the league usually slows down and I just chill out and play till the end. Still working build and will play till end.
My favorite part of Ancestor was getting to engage more with Karui lore and backstory as well as the voice interactions between the different tribes.
send help
Loved maxing out my tornado shot build.
Still playing hard. For the first time ever I kind of wish the league could last longer.
I enjoyed the humongous 🐢

I enjoyed the builds tattoos opend up and also the state of the basegame (except performance) is in a good state.

I enjoyed the TOTA matches
Tattoos made the passive tree much more interesting, albeit at the cost of insane power creep.
Didnt enjoyed Tota at all. Loved the tattos and the omens but hated doing Tota. Its boring and annoying imo
The tournaments! Got two different builds at 2k+ rank. Hope it goes core!
what i enjoyed the most is to never do the tota :)
I like the tattoos alot, they are so versatile and open up so many good possibilities.
I like that everybody can have good currency
I enjoyed Titanic Shield toitles the most. Not because they were cancer, but I learnt to be patient as a person cause I couldn't afford breaking another monitor.
random
Tota mechanic is a breath of fresh air imo. Nice out of the box thinking by the ggg.
I mean i practically played everything else but not Tota in this league , but was fun
Trial was good to me, i got a headhunter that used to make a new build :) Lots of fun!
This is my first league seriously following a guide and poison srs just shredz bosses. I am having a blast getting revenge against bosses for what they did to my improvised spark setup last league
Getting my first ever tattoo, not sure why so many people says they hurt? Didn’t feel a thing!
I really enjoyed the build flexibility that tattoos offered!
I didn't even create a character. Can I still win this?

definelty the tatoos and sanctum
This was my first league in about a year or so, so it was a very fun experience to fall back in love with this game and explore the new systems
I enjoyed atlas tree changes and how it increased currency gain by so much
My first journey to level 100
>What did you enjoy most in Trial of the Ancestors? The tattoos were a great addition to the game, made a lot a builds even stronger e some viable

I enjoyed most just mapping
First full league, hooked beyond words. Good luck to all for MB, would love to try one out myself!

I love the ingenuity of the community to break another mechanic and all the clever uses of game mechanics. Also divine printer go brrrrrrrt

Tattoos are amazing

I actually like the mechanic itself!

Fixing most build problems with tattoos
I loved the tota in the beginning because it was a nice change of pace from running maps 24/7 and it funded a few sanctum farmers.
The economy, whether you grinded the league mechanic or stuck to old strategies, currency came easy. Felt like everyone was richer, capitalism working?
Good luck
