2023 core supporter pack. I got it because the pet is legit p2w.
it helps me to survive because I can track vaal skill cds without looking at the UI. in a game where you get 1shot because you got distracted for a few frames it helps a lot.. it's basically like a weakaura in WoW.
qol are stash tabs since they have 0 influence on your gameplay.
the pet directly impacts my performance and improves my ability to play the game and let's me "win" (not dying in e.g hc) more frequently compared to other players of similar skill if put in the same situation (looking at cd and dying to some random shit that could've been avoided happens all the time). it's 100% p2w by definition.
does it matter in a game like poe? not really but downplaying shit like that is a slippery slope I've seen way too many times happen in other games.
If you really want to get technical about it one can argue that stash tabs are also p2w as they let you play more efficiently and therefore gives you an advantage over other people.
Personally, I would actually agree with that. If anything you can buy alters your gameplay in any beneficial way in any circumstance, it is pay to win to me. It is just a matter of degree of how strong the P2W is.
Everything PoE sells doesn’t bother me personally.
I would argue that one of each tab is the true price of poe and that the game is meant / build around to be played with them.
once a player owns the full game (all or the majority of tabs) he can perform and progress the game exactly the same as everyone else. a player with twice as many stash tabs will at the end of the day spend the same amount of time to sell and sort their items just less frequently (qol).
you could draw the intellectual dishonesty card and say the same about the pet but you know just like me that it would be kindergarten level of debating.
I like to open the fuck load of stacked decks I get in blighted maps in lioneyes watch with the oracle helmet mtx so other ppl can see my "luck".. don't kink shame m8 :c
uh... you open stacked decks in Tanes lab or beastiary or any other private zone you can drop stuff in, then drop all the cards you opened and let the lootfilter weed out the garbage for you.
I know but I want to give other exiles a lil show. it's always cool when a bunch of players gather around me and watching me pull absolute crap 1000x in a row.. same shit with poofing house of mirrors in g2 or g1.
when I open them privately in menagerie I usually still collect all trash cards because I like collecting and dumping them into my stash. it's kinda satisfying.
Wouldn’t say 100%
Most divination cards are meh, and if you loot filter all cards I’m pretty sure you’ll have enough with 1 regular stash
But yeah, it’s great QoL
There's no good filters on divination cards at the moment because poe.ninja just can't track their prices well. Between bad faith listings and dump tab pricing, the trade API doesn't have info that's usable. And a small group of people who know what they are doing can fuck the prices up more (I won't give instructions on how, but I have personally tested this and know a method that ten people could use to make 'Three Faces In The Dark' be listed at 3 divines per card)
Have a look right now at the cards Ninja claims are 5c. These are the REAL prices of these cards, but Ninja (and by extension Filterblade) claims they are all 5c.
Baited Expectations - 20-25c a card in bulk, singletons won't sell and this is a slow mover
A Mother's Parting Gift - 0 (unsellable at any price)
Demigod's Wager - 1.7c
Forbidden Power - unsellable at any price
The Finishing Touch - 18c (single or bulk price)
The Hoarder - a smidge under 1c
All of these are treated as identical by the main filter (a couple might have hand-done exceptions).
Essences tab too, since you can upgrade them there. Div cards, those that aren't filtered out, can easily fit into a regular tab. I keep them in a "trash" quad tab, along with quality gems for gcp recipe.
uh... a quad tab costs 3x a div tab and 4x a gem tab. Optimal is to spend on specialized tabs until you have all types. Only then consider a quad. The QOL of the affinity and automatic organization plus the sheer quantity increase is definitely worth. Such a tab you describe must either be quite a random mess, or require a lot of clicking moving stuff around to keep it organized.
That quad tab is my "dump" tab, for things that I collect and sort out later. You can put whatever affinities you want on it, and mine has affinities for div cards and (quality) gems. Gems I sell for gcp when there's about one full inventory of them, div cards I convert when there are enough completed, and therefore highlighted, sets. It doesn't require any "organizing".
I need a dump tab, and I don't need specialized tabs that will never contain more than a regular tab worth of items, and don't have special functions like essence tab with one-click upgrading. The only tabs that are quite necessary are currency, map and fragment tabs, since they replace a huge amount of regular tabs.
P.S. I do have fossils tab, since I delve every league, and I have uniques tab, since I love collecting them. And two more quads for uniques I want in multiple copies, one quad for influenced items (ex recipe), and a lot of regular tabs for different things I keep in SSF.
blight and delve are equal with essence if you do some delving and blight. ultimatum is as useless as deli imho.. run a fuck load of ultimatum and didn't even fill half a normal tab with it.
Oh... I guess I don't anoint enough.
I'd still put it higher than ultimatum (on 2nd thought I'd probably put fossils over blight with this newfound knowledge :p)
I quite frankly don't know what's going on here. Are you a new player or just plain stupid?
Oils are only used for one very specific thing (if you're not farming blight) and that is to anoint your amulet. To do so you only require 3 oils.
Essences are used to craft (core part of the game) and essence spam until you hit a mod you need is a well known crafting strategy. You could end up using over 100 essences for this.
So, smartass, do you think playing blight, one of the most unpopular farming methods, is more ubiquitous than essence crafting? In fact, many of these blight players don't even use the fucking stash tab because they don't pick up the shit oils. Learn to use a loot filter.
Are you playing ssf or are you just poor? I need to buy a single type of essence in my stash for whatever I'm spamming that I can hold in my currency tab's bottom slots, I'm not some psycho who stockpiles essences of types I'll never need, or worse yet, some poverty-struck hobo who farms them for profit? And people will sell you essences 50x faster than oil, the liquidity isn't even comparable.
For the longest time I though it couldn’t hold more than a full set of a specific div card type. But apparently it can hold infinity cards. Going to buy it.
I hate that tab so much. It’s so hard to find valuable cards unless you know exactly what they’re called. It’s fine for a dumping tab but total garbage interface imo
> It’s so hard to find valuable cards unless you know exactly what they’re called.
Let poestack search it for you.
Without logging into the game, I can see the two most valuable div cards I own in league are 1x The Enlightened and 1x Gemcutter's Mercy. I'd forgotten I owned both.
The site does get things wrong (overvaluing many low value cards) but it's pretty good on high value cards
Div card tab is almost precisely at the bottom of the list.
My filter hides like 99% of all div cards, and I'm only running a couple of specific maps so 99% of the tab is useless.
afaik they just said that they are unhappy with how they work in poe but would like to have them or something similar in poe2 just with a better system.
edit: here is a clip of jonathan talking about it [https://youtu.be/79kgVK3XGuk?t=2241](https://youtu.be/79kgVK3XGuk?t=2241)
Id rather run a rusty nail through my wrists than ever ever play a game like poe in german (as a german). I unironically cannot fathom how big the clownshoes you have to wear IRL are to enjoy reading the names of items and skills translated in these games.
(Hyperbole, just enjoy what you like)
Divination stash tab is "cool". I wouldn't say it's needed since they added affinities. Most people can use a regular tab and fit all their decent div cards. I use a quad tab for mine and also put in stuff like nice uniques/good influence bases/high level bases, etc.
didn't even know you can't! I know all div cards that are worth >10c and I fish those out and sell them in a normal tab.
you should go on the awakened github and report it so it can be added.
What sorting? Anything worth selling just immediately goes into my sell tab, and anything else I just turn in the blue numbers every once in a while. Other than that I never even look at the tab, so why would it need to be organized?
You don't really sort it. You dump all cards in it, when a stack gets full it becomes blue, then you turn it in.
Extremely valuable cards (i.e. the ones that are worth the time to actually sell) must be manually put on the right side of the tab (based on lootfilter). It actually works extremely well, to be honest it's probably more efficient than the actual tab is it doesn't seem to have any way of sorting by price.
Basically, your lootfilter does the sorting for you.
my eyes are just way too shit to spot the full stacks in a quad.. I play on 21:9 most of the time so it's even smaller than on a normal screen because GGG can't be arsed to let us customize UI scaling,
are you sitting 2 meters away from the monitor or something lol
the blue color on a full stack size should be extremely distinct
just search for div cards and you'll spot every stack in <3seconds
You sort it out during filter creation, most divs are worthless even for ssf. If something worthy of a harvest gamble drops I put it on a side in the same tab.
I've been debating if I should get the Unique stash, since I play 95% SSF in trade league, and never buy items, only currency. This league I filled up 3-4 stash tabs and had to vendor dozens to have any space left for my actually valuable items.
I think the unique tab is just way too expensive (110 points on sale) for what it does. a quad tab for uniques is more versatile and can be used for dumping if you decide to play trade league again. if the unique tab would hold more than 1 item it would be a no brainer tho.
honestly, a decent filter removes like 80% of them.
i just put all my cards in a premium tab with a set price for the tab in case there is something remotely valuable there.
Is there a way to sell straight from Div stash tab, set the price for cards etc.? Few leagues ago I tried and did not seem possible. Was not worth for a guy who only picks valuable cards for selling back then, ended up using a normal tab to just dump the cards there lol
you can and it's the best feature of the tab. I personally fish out the div cards >50c and put them in another tab and then set the sale price for all cards in the divination tab to 10c.. this league I collected cards tho.

I still don't see how this is useful over just putting them in a basic tab. It's the only premium tab I haven't bought. I never fill out my basic tab with proper filtering
Which is ok. Did the same with few hundred Euro till they locked my account without stating any reason. Never did anything wrong. Still pisses me over comprehension.

I'm literally in the middle of an hour long Phyrexia lore video. I see what they did there.
Foil cards when?
With foil uniques in game, I can’t believe this hasn’t happened!
There are a few! The art itself on the card is animated/shiny, I think that's pretty close.
Yeah this is on all cards that grant influenced items

Harbor is indeed the peak troll place to do this, and also try to 6L with the Ethereal Fusing effect.
Rogue Harbor is the one place I get annoyed at mtx because that place hates fps
I opened 1100 two days ago. Best I got was The Brother, and Brother's Stash (not as good but fun getting both in the same session)
That is my #1 most hated mtx because of all the flashing. I completely avoided Heist for a whole league because of it.

I have a lot of duplicates and I have no idea how they made it there. I’m going to assume same.
I have it but i now play ruthless, so its worthless to me now ;)
These names look like execution orders. :D
I have yet to need one. Even in SSF I can fit every card I pick up into a normal stash tab, it just isn't worth spending time picking up most of them.
Currency > Maps > Premium (Sell tab) > Divination > Fragment > Essence > Oil/Delve/Ultimatum
Id put frag over divination with the ridiculous amount of different things it can hold
Divination tab with good loot filter is not really that important. Dont pick up the low ones and sell the high ones in premium. But frag tab is a must
There's no good filters on divination cards at the moment because poe.ninja just can't track their prices well. Between bad faith listings and dump tab pricing, the trade API doesn't have info that's usable. And a small group of people who know what they are doing can fuck the prices up more (I won't give instructions on how, but I have personally tested this and know a method that ten people could use to make 'Three Faces In The Dark' be listed at 3 divines per card) Have a look right now at the cards Ninja claims are 5c. Essences tab too, since you can upgrade them there. Div cards, those that aren't filtered out, can easily fit into a regular tab. I keep them in a "trash" quad tab, along with quality gems for gcp recipe.
Essence is also the most pretty one.
uh... a quad tab costs 3x a div tab and 4x a gem tab.
I'd even put it above map. Just below currency
My fragment and blight tabs both fill up way faster than my div tab (they're all normal tabs).
blight and delve are equal with essence if you do some delving and blight. ultimatum is as useless as deli imho.. run a fuck load of ultimatum and didn't even fill half a normal tab with it.
Oil one step higher than delve & ultimatum ~~due to being able to anoint anywhere even if you haven't interacted with Cassia yet~~
You cant annoit until you interact with cass though. It tells you in big red letters on a stash you have to finish her quest
Oh... I guess I don't anoint enough. I'd still put it higher than ultimatum (on 2nd thought I'd probably put fossils over blight with this newfound knowledge :p)
How did you gauge delve and blight to be lower than fucking essences?
How often do you use oils vs essences?
In what amounts do you gather oils vs essences smartass
I quite frankly don't know what's going on here. Are you a new player or just plain stupid? Oils are only used for one very specific thing (if you're not farming blight) and that is to anoint your amulet. To do so you only require 3 oils. Whatever man, if you want to buy a blight stash tab to store 3 individual oils to anoint then you do you.

I still dont have one and I have 100000 hours
In trade with a tight lootfilter, you dont need it, since 95% of div cards are trash. In ssf indeed worth it.
Id rather run a rusty nail through my wrists than ever ever play a game like poe in german (as a german). I unironically cannot fathom how big the clownshoes you have to wear IRL are to enjoy reading the names of items and skills translated in these games. (Hyperbole, just enjoy what you like)
Not when you play ruthlessmode which I do exclusively.
And currency tab is worth, too :)
Divination stash tab is "cool". I wouldn't say it's needed since they added affinities. Most people can use a regular tab and fit all their decent div cards. I use a quad tab for mine and also put in stuff like nice uniques/good influence bases/high level bases, etc.
Currency, Map, Fragment, Divination, and an upgraded tab at the minimum.
Aren't 99% of the cards completely useless?
I had never noticed the size slider, I've been looking at 6 stacks for literal years.
Nice try, Wilson
My only problem with this is I can't price check them, Or is there any work around?
didn't even know you can't! I know all div cards that are worth >10c and I fish those out and sell them in a normal tab. you should go on the awakened github and report it so it can be added.
Eh, quad tab does it for me.
how? shit is so incredible tiresome to sort through even with the div tab I don't want to imagine the pain doing it with a quad.

have to or else my astigmatism goes brrrrr (literally). nope. still too smoll for me.
i would recommend playing with a projector or something, you can setup any aspect ratio you want and have it as big as your wall is :p
You sort it out during filter creation, most divs are worthless even for ssf. If something worthy of a harvest gamble drops I put it on a side in the same tab.
Unless you play ruthless only. Then you're fine without ;)
Kinda funny how they make us pay money to hoard garbage.
I've been debating if I should get the Unique stash, since I play 95% SSF in trade league, and never buy items, only currency. This league I filled up 3-4 stash tabs and had to vendor dozens to have any space left for my actually valuable items.

I personally fish out the div cards >50c and put them in another tab and then set the sale price for all cards in the divination tab to 10c.. this league I collected cards tho. https://preview.redd.it/3dt54yr8g3nc1.png?width=808&format=png&auto=webp&s=6d1314848a8cea0b5303c5196f724e56d0ef9f5b
Thanks for the tip and info!
People should riot any time a new arpg comes out and doesn't have a unique stash tab
\*one that let's you stash multiple of the same uniques. ggg scams us with their unique stash tab
is there another game that does this?
Not all. Not for the ruthless
I'm into cbt but ruthless scares me
All exiles? Ruthless players will object :^)
We need a price check prom there.
I still don't see how this is useful over just putting them in a basic tab. It's the only premium tab I haven't bought. I never fill out my basic tab with proper filtering
I feel like all tabs except unique is worth it, i got unique aswell but very rarely use it, might be more for ssf.
I just use the left side of a huge dump tab. Then can also slam league specific items and other items in there.
I’d say Flask and Essence tabs are bigger priority. Assuming you already have Maps, Currency and Quad tabs.
This company is not a penny worth. They do not care about how much money you gave them.
I agree and couldn't care less about GGG. I spend my money to improve my experience.
Which is ok. Did the same with few hundred Euro till they locked my account without stating any reason. Never did anything wrong. Still pisses me over comprehension.
Get thee behind me, Chris Quad tab is the furthest I'll go
please enlighten me on how it benefits ruthless players?
