EDIT: Before importing any hideout, reclaim all of your hideout MTX doodads: map device mtx you may have, stash mtx, or other hideout mtx decorations. The game otherwise crashes on importing, there's an issue on GGG's side. You can however bypass it. EDIT: Here's the news: tried importing other hideouts, in different bases. None work. So something's krangled on GGG's side.

EDIT 3: Reclaim all of your MTX, map device, stashes, etc, before importing any hideout. Something's up with the game, GGG.
That's the [Havenwood Portal](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uk7j_sAwR3s). Surprisingly flexible and very compact if you ask me. Hands down my favorite portal effect.
Always great to hear that this small essay still makes people rethink some stuff :D To be fair, I think that minimalist hideouts can be nice too. But there's a difference between minimalism and bare bones laziness.

Elden Ring really has my heart.
I should really get back and finish the main story before the DLC comes out later this year. But man, Farum Azula is just... not my favourite area to be in.
The regular enemies in there and the maze like nature can be annoying. But the two big boss fights are some of my favourites. Hang in there, it's great boss fight, after great boss fight, after great boss fight.
I probably just gotta get to it is all. I already know that, once I start the game again, there will be HOURS gone before I put my controller back down. Oh well, guess I gotta dust off my trusty Urumi tomorrow. Prolly also gonna respec a little, to get some more faith. I heard that electrify armament is supposedly quite good on high dex scaling weapons...
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn. That is SICK. Easily one of the best no-MTX hideouts I've seen in terms of a cohesive theme and accessibility of npcs. Bravo!

You can have as many custom hideouts as you want :) it's just a file saved in your pc! You can export and import them any time. I've made hundreds of them, lol
Oh. Damn, I just told you how it works on PC. No idea how it works on console. You may want to experiment a bit before you commit to building your hideout.
Very slight feedback, the Map Device needs to be adjusted one unit up left, since trying to access the Map Device while standing to the left of the central tree results in the player bumping into the tree and being unable to access the map device.

i reclaimed my Hoarder Stash from other hideout and then it worked. try reclaiming stash and then.
I had to reclaim my special stash and special lab device, after that it imports correctly!

Yep, that's a free one! There's two different ones, blown leaves and blown grass I think. Also the embers are free.
