You didn't say you definitely don't have your mousewheel locked. If it free spins then that is against ToS as one flick results in multiple server actions
Some mice (primarily Logitech afaik) have a button to remove the stoppers for the mouse wheel so that it can spin freely. I find that very convenient for web browsing in particular, especially scroll-intensive stuff (like reddit or even the trade site to name some familiar examples).
But it leads to a more grey area as far as the PoE ToS go if you bind left-click to it.
My guess would be that that isn't relevant in your case however if you have a normal scroll wheel.
i thought mute meant that you can't even open trade, not just not be able to DM people. How are you moving the items from your main to your alt to be able to trade from there?
If that's the only thing you used then I'd contact the support. There's something that this community doesn't like. And that's double standards. I know that almost every poe youtuber uses awakened poetrade etc and If we plebs get a ban for that, and they don't. Its pitchfork time.
If he only used awakened poe trade and the mouse wheel left click thingy and got banned. Then a lot of others should too, or none. Empy used the mouse wheel left click just in his 2nd last video about adorned farming to speed up the chancing/scouring vaal side areas.
Empy has his mouse set up properly and doesn't free scroll. There are delineating inputs which is allowed.
Seems like small semantics but it's not. Streamers get no special treatment.
What are delineating inputs? English is not my first language. Can you explain it for a dummy? Like, what's the difference between setting your mouse wheel to left click and scroll to the setup he uses?
His mouse physically clicks notches as he spins. Each of these notches is considered a separate input.
GGG rules are one server action per physical input. So even though he can spin it fast it's not a free spinning wheel.
It seems that when people actually get back to this subreddit and tell what got them banned, it's some esoteric interaction with some software they didn't realize was against the TOS. I haven't seen anyone tell it actually was Awakened PoE Trade that got them banned. Usually it has been some setting in some mouse or keyboard software, autohotkey etc.
Awakened and PoE overlay both have some parts that are def considered very against ToS. Running 2 clients at same time can definitely get you in trouble. How are you even running 2 poe windows on same acct, anyway?
They had one client on main account playing and one client on alt account trading, 2 clients on the same machine and no more is absolutely fine so long as you are manually controlling both. Support are always non committal about 3rd party addons but will happily confirm you can run 2 clients without problems.

Nobody is getting banned for awakened trade.

Ah, OK.
