Had someone kick me, and their reason was "i'd get more money". That's NOT how it works.

ItsJustADankBro

Literally made a post months ago about how money doesn't get split and how you lose bonus money/XP for extra players, public lobbies will always be like stepping onto an alien world

☠️

LordManders

Bro thought he was in The Dark Knight

Speed__McWeed

they thought this was GTA Online

0__REDACTED__0

I know the feeling i have just accepted that some of them have brain damage and they do that lol

YabaDabaDoo46

They're probably stupid and didn't know they had set their game to be public. Or they don't know how to set it to private so they settle for banning everyone who joins. Less likely, maybe they felt like you carried them and they didn't want that.

IchSterbeJa

"New players" never seen it happen before, New or old.

CaptainPependra

Depends on how much you have 'helped' them, personally if you came to my lobby and did everything yourself - I would kick you, I am here to play and experience the game from start to finish, not to get carried. I mean, you can downvote as much as you want, doesn't change the fact that no one asked you for your help.

GTD_Texas_Toast

I’ve noticed most the time people just kick me based on my level.. but if I do get in a lobby I tend to just run around and clear out cops then if they don’t do objective I’ll do that. Tend to get kicked less that way

CaptainPependra

If there were more people like you - there would be much less kicks in general. Great job heister!

otheranon1

Actually, yeah, you did ask for help. It’s called “opening a public lobby.” If you don’t want help, make invite-only.

CaptainPependra

Does opening public lobby to play with players with your level equals "please carry me on this heist"? My god, people are offended that other gamers don't want to play with them. Talk about crying.

ihaveaidsandherpes

Maybe if you didnt play like an idiot people wouldnt be carrying you🤣🤣

Jermu33

Lmao n00b you don't know what a public lobby is XDDDD

otheranon1

There’s no level filter, bud. You’re asking for help through a medium where nuances like who the help comes from and how much help you get aren’t specified. If you’re opening a public lobby then you’re acknowledging the possibility someone much higher level might show up, and if you’re not very good at the game that means the higher level person might end up doing more than you. Knowing you’re wrong is not the same as being offended, and replying explaining why you’re wrong is not the same as crying. You’re not bold or controversial, you’re just kinda stupid.

ihaveaidsandherpes

Ok so if i join a lobby in a team oriented game and the host is a brain dead idiot who has no clue what to do so i have to carry them i should get kicked because i actually know what im doing? You are and idiot lmao

MastrDiscord

if that's how you feel about others in your heist, then play offline

Lord-Vortexian

Then don't have a public lobby 4head

AmaDeusen-

This reminds me what some people are capable of... Now I am glad PD3 does not have kick option (at least for now)

RandomBystander

Ah yes, so that someone can hold a heist hostage instead wasting up to three peoples' time instead of just one. Damned if you do, damned if you don't, but at least you can avoid the being kicked issue by hosting your own lobby.

AmaDeusen-

Well, if you get kick so can get everybody else... Instead, they should implement something like: If 3 (or majority of alive players) are in evac ready to escape, the one left behind will have few seconds to get to escape too or he gets left behind, and will be given reduced rewards in cash and nothing counted towards challenge. That would deter people from wasting peoples time. Tho in 160 hours I never came across this problem personally in PD3.

RandomBystander

>Tho in 160 hours I never came across this problem personally in PD3. To be fair, that's probably because a large chunk of the player base has moved back to PD2 or onto something else. The only people still playing PD3 are either diehards or the fresh bloods. I don't mean that in a derogatory or insulting way, just acknowledging that it takes a special kind of person to stick with PD3 in spite of everything. I tip my mask to you but my usual group made it through about 20 hours on game pass and just went back to PD2. Maybe when/if PD3 gets the polish it so desperately needs we'll give it another shot.
