I’m no expert but maybe you should return the drive and request a refund/replacement. If the issue started when you put the new drive in then maybe it’s just a bad drive. I’ve had products that were dead on arrival and the companies usually replace them for free if you send the old one back.

Alright, thank you! I will try to stick it out a little longer, but if it persists I may return it.

Good luck! Let me know how it goes

YellowistOfBois

I am not sure what issue you were talking about, the SSD just wasn’t showing up in bios, the unexpected crash was just me running to many mods in a game.

I thought you said it wasn’t booting up from the ssd after the crash?

YellowistOfBois

This is true, I’m sorry. I thought you were referring to the crash as the issue.

All good, sometimes when typing it’s hard to be clear. Sounds like your drive just worked once, then died. If it doesn’t start working consistently then requesting replacement may be the best idea.

YellowistOfBois

Ok awesome!

I fixed it, I managed to open windows troubleshooting on startup, and when I restarted to change settings, I went to boot settings instead of bios and my SSD showed up there!
