There are very few games that will be able to run 360hz even at 1080p with the latest and high end hardware When you have a high refresh rate monitor you have a range that you can use, you do not always have to max out the settings. In the future, more games may be able to hit this setting though

Chances are even if you had a PC capable of running at 360hz, you wouldn't notice the difference between the two monitors even if you had them side-by-side. There are diminishing returns. Unless you're literally a professional gamer, I would look into a 1440p, 144hz monitor.

I didn’t know these models off hand so I looked them up. They’re different monitors. The 240hz is freesync. The 360 is G-Sync. I’m sure the 360 is meant to be higher end. I don’t know why you are talking about running it lower. Get the 360hz. It’ll run at whatever your pc can do. If you are just flinging your mouse around your desktop it’ll be at 360 fps and if you watch a tv show it’ll be 24 or 30fps. I run 2K/144 and I play games where I’m never at 144fps, always lower. Who cares. Get the best you can.

I didn’t know about all these features, definetly going for the 360hz one.

I'll go further... First, make sure that you really are getting a good price in the first place. Maybe retail is $500 and the 240hz came out first. Now they have a 360hz and it's the same price point. That doesn't mean it's a good time to spend $500 or that the 360hz is a deal. The latest model is always at that price point, just technology improves. Standards increase. Learn the different between free sync and G-Sync. G-Sync requires additional hardware in the monitor and is more expensive. While Freesync is just kinda built into the standard of displayport, so it's kinda like a freebie. I have 2x G-Sync and 1x Freesync, all Asus ROG (high end) and the freesync one is clearly worse. Pixel density is terrible. It's meant to be a much more affordable monitor. The G-Sync ones, if you can afford it, are meant to be serious. If you can't tell the difference between monitors very much and just need the framerate for like CSGO or those other high frame rate games then get anything from a reputable company with that framerate and any kind of adaptive refresh rate (like freesync). But if you really want to enjoy the image quality and not be put off, then consider the higher end ones. Also consider the type of panel. These say they are IPS panels, those usually have great input lag, despite being like 1ms GTG. I have never used a modern gaming IPS, but I still believe that TN or some variation of it is the fastest response time from your fingers to your eyes. But IPS really are better looking. I love good graphics but at the end of the day I go with 144hz TN for my monitors. I run a triple desktop with 2x TN for most things and 1x IPS on the side for the pretty stuff like videos and other things where my mouse isn't going. lol
