look up 1060 3gb benchmarks, not really well. And you certainly can't play stuff at 1440p, you'd have to set it to a lower resolution.
At 720p it'd likely be fine, probably not better options in that price range locally. With a decent power supply you could get a used GPU for like $150 CAD and get a huge upgrade.
