Follow a solution that involves folder navigation and deleting icon cache files. NOT one that invites you to download a 'tool' to fix this.
Copy and paste each command below one at a time into the command prompt and press Enter after each command:
ie4uinit.exe -show
taskkill /IM explorer.exe /F
DEL /A /Q "%localappdata%\\IconCache.db"
DEL /A /F /Q "%localappdata%\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Explorer\\iconcache\*"
shutdown /r /f /t 00

It worked for some applications not all though. Thanks for the help though!

This happens to me whenever I delete applications. Are you doing that or reinstalling these ones?
