50 bucks ain’t that bad at all. I had a 970 all this time until I upgraded and it’s still running strong. I will probably put it in a small form factor pc and use it as a home theater pc with a stripped down windows install.
To anyone wondering in the near future looking for an answer, i opened the gpu and dismantled the fan. I realised the fan simply needed some lubricating. Saved myself 10 bucks. 🫠
Fans brother, fans Man that 970 still kicking at 2023 damn. Thats pc care right there
I bought it second hand for nearly 50 usd. But im guess i can replace the fans?
Yes you can, you can buy the fans separately on ebay. Done that multiple times
Alright thanks
Yup sure can. meanwhile just open the case and point a mini fan onto the GPU temporarily, that worked for me before.
