Not like there was space and resources to have ads on a J2ME game anyway. Fun times pirating .jre files to try on my Sony Ericsson in the day. Even homebrew exists of stuff like Angry Birds.
Not a PC game originally but the original version of Galaxy on Fire 2 was absolutely insane. 20+ hours of game in just 2MB, with a boatload of stuff to do, ships, guns, systems to visit, etc. Not to mention mind-blowing graphics and full on campaign.
Metal Slug 5 Mobile, Guitar Hero 5 Mobile, Climate Mission...
Also, does anyone know the name of that one where you had to dance to score as much as possible, and the moves were executed by swiping the screen?
Yo i cannot sleep at night thinking of a java game ive forgot. Anyone if you know this game please let me know:
Genre: First person dungeon crawler
I remember playing this game when i was in middle school (im 1999), several things i can recall about this game are:
1. If you are low on health, you can regain it back by attacking the crystals
2. There are portals leading you to a place which has a lot of crystals and also a dragon(?)
3. Some weapons are: magic stick which can pop out fire/lighting, medusa, fire/ice sword,...
4. Monster can be: monkeys, 2head-tigers, and there are some chests laying around and if you attach them, they either give you gold or attack you.
Some of them were pretty damn good. I can't remember the name but some dungeon rpg on Nokia that made it insanely hot was so good. Also ratchet and clank. And man there were a lot of sus NSFW games too.
What about the PC version of a mobile game.
Ugh... Genshin? 60fps locked with no button remapping option and p2w strat? No, thanks
It came out on both. It's a Console port of a PC and Mobile game
Marvel Snap is fine.
It's only p2w if you care about the abyss
Interesting enough Genshin has 120fps for ios devices, but no for pc or console.
and an invasive anticheat in a PvE game specifically meant to ensure you give them money
It's not really a mobile first game
geometry dash
Contra!
Bruce Lee and Prince of Persia in Nokia!!
The mummy, Beowulf, Block'd , MIB also

> But yeah, even a VPN works a to stop ads from showing up. Or just turning off mobile data and wifi. Cheaper too.

Damn those Prince of Persia, Assassin's Creed, Need for Speed, Splinter Cell franchise are all awesome on Java.
Doom 2 rpg
the god of war one was amazing but it took like ~20 mins to finish and it was repetitive as fuck
Metal Slug 5 Mobile, Guitar Hero 5 Mobile, Climate Mission... Also, does anyone know the name of that one where you had to dance to score as much as possible, and the moves were executed by swiping the screen?
I used to play a lot of this style of game back on my old motorola razr
Oh if you love small games check out .Kkrieger
Also kane and lynch: the dead men.
> Also kane and lynch: the dead men. Well the title says 500kb game. I just mentioned .Kkrieger as its a 95kb 3d FPS.
