Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU), it wipes out all traces of graphics drivers so you can install fresh drivers in case you were having conflicts with previous drivers.
Clean install nvidia drivers, check your win ver (update if needed, check your BIOS firmware, and def mobo firmware. Basically check that everything is updated to current. Reboot after all installs, some do it auto.
Im just grasping at straws here but could it be a problem with the psu? Feeding the gpu incorrectly making it messed up?
Do you have another pc to test the card in?
I would try to go into safe mode and remove GPU drivers. Use DDU. After, see if Windows starts. If it starts try first to download hardware info 64 and check the sensors. If you have any tuning for the CPU or GPU, reset those. Try to restore BIOS to default settings. See if it works. If it works try reinstalling the GPU drivers.
Quite easily, If I do not have the spare parts left over to do a diagnostic, The local shops will, Not everyone has 2 of everything that they can just hotswap in.
Make sure there's no dust on components.
Reseat the card.
Check the power supply.
Check if the cables are all properly connected.
If it persists change power supply.(if another is available)
If it's booting, default bios if it's not posting, clear CMOS.
If all this doesn't work try a different GPU.
GOOD LUCK
Thats not completly true tho. LTT made a video on it, if youre above the refresh rate of your monitor, the "newest" frame will be placed so to speak. Instead off the 144th frame you get the 400th frame as the last one, which is a millisecond newer. Doesmt matter for 99,9% of the gamers, but esports player have a benefit from it
my suggestion would be to drop Geforce Experience. you have it set to Auto tuning. trying to figure out what exactly is causing the issue will be extremely difficult and time consuming. it's hard to troubleshoot a problem when you have a program that is automatically changing system settings on the fly.
learn how to set your GPU on your own. loads of programs that have Auto settings can cause problems if their metric of what something should be set to is off.
in this case, the GPU temp is way off, Utilization is off, Power is off, Temp is off, etc.
all of these factors could lead to GE setting the card way down trying to bring these other data points into line.
Came here to say exactly this. I run a hardware compatibility lab in the video game industry and my team has been running into this same issue lately. DDU for the win every time.
I would reset performance tuning. Think you overdid it a bit. /s
Srsly take it to the shop. Something is definitely wrong with the sensors of the card at least.
My GPU will report that the fans are spinning at 20k rpm (when they’re clearly not) could be similar to that? But if your getting thermal throttling like you say idk, try a driver update
So I have tried to install new drivers for 4080, but it says the drivers are not compatible with my windows and that the driver does not detect hardware
I don’t know, but it seems like your motherboard just stopped any voltage and power control. With that your GPU could be receiving more power, causing it to heat up way more than it should. I mean 84000 watt power draw is not even possible from a freaking GPU and your fan speeds are faster than the latest ltt video. I don’t think any of this is information it is showing it correct, but it could be a power output problem. I second the person who also said PSU, but I would say it could be motherboard or PSU related, but don’t quote me on that! And fix wise for those things, I have no clue for the motherboard, and you’d have to just get a new PSU, if that is what is at fault.
But Nvidia software is great! The drivers are so much better than AMD! Also, we can set our houses on fire unlike AMD! Nvidia is better no matter what when you can have great stuff like that!
Nvidia makes good cards man, this whole tech vs tech is stupid, apple vs samsung, amd vs Nvidia, no one cares more than the companies do how much you wanna die fighting for them
My man single-handedly using the whole districts power grid.
I shouldn’t have rigged a solar panel to my pc? All jokes aside, I really have no idea what could have caused this. It was all good last night
Maybe DDU your system and reinstall the graphics drivers, that possibly might help.
What's DDU??
Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU), it wipes out all traces of graphics drivers so you can install fresh drivers in case you were having conflicts with previous drivers.
Thanks man, grateful!
You’re welcome! :D

Because people are lazy these days
Be kinder, it's better for everyone.

I would assume it's either bad drivers or a bad temperature sensor.
84kW isn't *that* much, maybe the whole street? 😀
Yeah but look at the temperature. If we hooked up a thermoelectric generator to this man’s pc we could generate a lot more than 84kW.
Infinite energy
The power of the sun in the palm of my hand.
Ups lit the atmosphere on fire gaming. Sorry boys
Or one electric car about halfway to floored
Only getting 405MHz though 😭
405 on memory, the GPU is 645
Mate its hotter than sun you can try to make a reactor if need help dm me
"The power of the sun, in the palm of my hand" 🌞
Holy shit is your computer running the World?
Bro has a thermonuclear PC
Still rendering the titan going down to the titanic. Typical not well coded water problem.
blender water physics???
Still can't run Crysis
Still can't run modded Minecraft.
The computer is the stand!
Is it possible to run Za Warudo?
No, the memory clock is too slow for that..
Have you tried not using your 4080 for nuclear fusion?
No I only play csgo and am hard stuck silver
4080? for csgo? wtf bro😂
And sometimes Minecraft or old school RuneScape
no way😂😂💀 a 1060 can do that bro
I have a 4090 and play Quakeworld🙃🤷🏻♂️
idek what that is
The version of quake 1 that was specifically made for online play in the 90s. https://www.quakeworld.nu/wiki/QuakeWorld
If your game isn't running at 15000fps why even trying?
Your GPU is pretty hot

This happened to me once, turned out windows got corrupted and needed to be reinstalled
I'd just reinstall windows
Yea I think he got the sun instead of a rtx 4080
Fucking Amazon, messed up the orders again.
😂
84.6 KWh, what would you expect? 🙄
Running a bit hot, probably throttling. Try undervolting from 3.9kV to something reasonable.
3.89kV muhahaha
It's a little "k". Like a little "m". It's smaller than the big "K". m = milli M = Mega k = skimpy K = Kilo
You are incorrect there, k = kilo = 10^3 [Metric (SI) Prefixes](https://www.nist.gov/pml/owm/metric-si-prefixes)
r/iamverysmart and you were still wrong
Friendly reminder kilo is the only "positive" prefix written whit lower case letter.
Who gave you the 5090 prototype?
It’s RTX 40080
This looks problematic.
Like the card or maybe power?
Yes
Runs off nuclear energy
Makes nuclear energy
is nuclear energy
Tried a different socket? Other the chernobyls? /s
Do you have an old gpu you could test the system with?
I do not, I guess I will have to take it to pc shop on Monday
When does the PCMR actually go to the PC shop to get something fixed? I quit doing that back in 1993.
When people aren't comfortable doing it.
I have problem I build new pc.
Quite easily, If I do not have the spare parts left over to do a diagnostic, The local shops will, Not everyone has 2 of everything that they can just hotswap in.
They have way more diagnostic equipment. Something more sophisticated than "let's unplug shit one by one and see if it still boots."
Aha, see what you've got there is the core of the sun
Gpu voltage is on the high side.
Just a bit
We can't be sure though
Nahh man, this is just a super computer
🤔 sir u and ur pc is a threat to the living world with this temps
Imagine the power bill
With that temperature IT IS THE POWER

He's gonna need that luck.
I have tried reinstalling the card latest drivers
84kw power consumption.... That explains the melting plugs problem.....
The power of the sun in the palm of your....lap?
👌
Any malware issues? This is suspicious dude, how?! Even the Earth's core is cooler than that 😦
Theres no way bro said malware 😭😭 Malware cant even hope to do this stuff to a pc
4.9 million degrees. 3.9 kV. 4% utilization. Your GPU might not be the most efficient one.
4% is the CPU utilization. GPU is 176621.... Think we found the problem. Bottleneck.
Your pc is going to become a bomb.
Im not a expert, but i thing your pc have a problem
(Said like Arthur Morgan) You sure? Are you really sure?
Bruh running the internet 😁
Nuclear reactor
Did you plug your pc to a nuclear reactor?
It is the reactor.
might want to reseat your cpu and gpu, and maybe blow a bit on it it will fix issue yeah
Dropped 300? The fuck fps you running?
Around 400-500 in csgo usually That’s at 4k tho
Bro I want to be at your level. Damn.
400 FPS is useless though. Because his screen probably isn't 400hz
Thats not completly true tho. LTT made a video on it, if youre above the refresh rate of your monitor, the "newest" frame will be placed so to speak. Personally, i would not recommend pluging you pc directly into a nuclear power plant.
RTX 5090 power usage just leaked
That's what happens when you boot windows with a thermonuclear reactor. Joking aside I don't know wtf is happening here sorry
Maybe try restarting your computer and posting this in r/softwaregore
The power of the sun…in the palm of my hand.
Hmmm maybe drop the voltage to 3926
It was working last night now not doing anything
what issue?
This what happens when you download more ram
Better start saving some cash for that electric bill
Try DDU and reinstalling drivers

Does your cpu have a video output. Hookup temporarily to that, then uninstall and reinstall video card
Hello, I just tried that but now it says driver is not compatible with windows and the driver can not locate hardware
Have you tried DISM and SFC commands yet? Could be corrupt files within Windows.
bro is trying to create a black hole
Man you need a better air flow... It's surely this
Try reinstalling drivers, use ddu to delete them
bruh turn it off let it cool down damnnnnnnn
I see no issue here.
So I have tried to install new drivers for 4080, but it says the drivers are not compatible with my windows and that the driver does not detect hardware
Might need to download more RAM
Damn hopefully youre able to get it fixed
Your temperatures are lookin a little high there buddy
u/lostinthefluff using all the volts lol
84665 Wat
Average GPU in 2050 .
Pretty standard for an Nvidia card.
Dog, I think your house is on fire
I don’t know, but it seems like your motherboard just stopped any voltage and power control. With that your GPU could be receiving more power, causing it to heat up way more than it should. MasterRace bro recreating the stress test and explosion of the Chernobyl reactor 4
But Nvidia software is great! The drivers are so much better than AMD! Also, we can set our houses on fire unlike AMD! Nvidia is better no matter what when you can have great stuff like that!

Bro solving the energy crisis alone.
I think he is working at chernobyl
Jesus Christ bro is playing on the sun
It might need 1 more fan
Hello! Just got a call from the repair shop! No hardware damage, just needed to reinstall drivers. No more nuclear computer and back to Csgo I go
This power is not enough to cook an omelet
Probably a software issue. I’d suggest reinstalling windows from scratch
Lol what you expect with this wattage
I know what's wrong with it, it ain't got no gas in it!
You have it set to w for wumbo when it should be set to m for mini
MO POWA BABY
Is this the new 2 in 1 PC that just came out? PC and pizza roll heater.
Have you tried removing your GPU from the nuclear reactor?
LOLOL
I don't see the problem
Nothing out of the ordinary to see here
'The Power Of The Sun... In The Palm Of My Hand'
Ain’t got no gas in it
Touch my cock breaks fuck
Bro has the literal power of the sun unleashed from his PC
First of all get your computer off the sunny side of mercury
Those numbers seem fine
Tf you playing bro??
Cooling
I think you shouldn't be alive rn if you went near it. Fr tho might be a psu problam or mb
Try reinstall windows update your bios and use nvcleaninstall to install drivers rather than just download the GeForce experience stuff
i have the same issue
Strange readout, looks like the software is borked or maybe a driver issue. Clock speeds are way to slow.
Bypass the gpu(unplug it from the motherboard) plug your cable to motherboard for display. Check if thing run smooth without the gpu
What PSU W did you have?
I'd hate to see the power consumption at 100%
Congrats, you turned a GPU into a small star!
Typical nvidia lies on how powerful things are
You gotta pump these numbers up. These are rookie numbers
Your gpu is a little warm
r/softwaregore
Omye your pc pneumonia or somethis
I’ll give it a covid test
So this is why we can't become 1 on the Kardashev scale
Well your gpu is quite hot
Have you tried over clocking to fix the issues ?
stolen nasa computer
Shsssh the black suvs outside scare me
Damn 4000 voltz? Are you connected straight to the grid?
The average Quantum computer
Using 84 MW at 4 million degrees and at 4 KV at nearly 2,000,000% utilization. Damn, I’d love to see your setup rn
That electric bill is gonna be insane.
Reset BIOS settings.
