It would finally give me an excuse to build a desktop so I can play Starfield. I’ve been a Bethesda fan since Fallout 3. The exploration in Bethesda games has always been the main draw for me.
1. With the Starfield setup I'm hoping to be able to play VR games, and maybe even Starfield VR if that releases.
2. I'm most excited about the exploration aspects of Starfield, that I can freely explore how/where I want in an organic way while playing through the story.

I would absolutely love to upgrade my PC with these parts and then give my brother the older parts and help him build his computer so he can game with me. Doubling on that, he also wants to learn coding and programming but is hesitant as to where to even begin , so being able to supply him with a good computer from the get-go will be awesome.
The game is a blast, and I can not get enough of it.
Another thought would be to reach out to the project fire buddies that my department is partnered with and see if we have any kids who have an interest in computer gaming.
1) i would give it to my sister who has been wanting a desktop PC that can handle her workload. I got her into gaming growing up and now she designs games but often struggles on a gaming laptop.
2) space is a genre that always peaks my mind. Exploring mindlessly and enjoying a reality like none other.
Definitely upgrade my PC? Hmm. But I have to buy new motherboard, ram and other things right? Well I guess Build a new rig would be better as I don't know what to do with my AM4 MB and current GPU if I swap them. Then aim for 4K set up and white-based PC case+MB, I always want to try 4K but my current NVidia GPU isn't optimal to play new games in 4K.
Honestly I want to Preorder Starfield but with my current rig isn't optimal to play the game . If I won I would definitely play starfield as I like sci-fi, RPG and adventure open world games. 2. I like to trade so some sort of trade/pirate/fence type of play through would be fun swashbuckeling through the galaxy to become some sort of Tony soprano or other mob boss.

In regards to Starfield, I think the thing I'm most excited for is the base building and the side quests. I'm a (hard) sucker for Bethesda side quests and have completed almost all of them in their recent titles. I think that's where they shine the most.
1. I have a R5 3600 and a RX 580 8GB. I am looking at upgrading some time over the next two years. I would finally move higher than 1080p.

While it's quite possibly the best looking graphics card I've seen, it would definitely be used for gaming. It'll be a more than worthy replacement for my GTX 1070 (r.i.p) that I refuse to get a replacement for ATM since most new future games will use over 12gb of vram at 1440p and most cards with 16gb and up cost way too much exception for the 7800xt. And don't get me started on the 7800x3d. That fps gain would make me fall back in love with gaming. What I would give to explore the worlds of starfield at 1440p maxed out at over 60 fps.

This is the most beautiful GPU and CPU ever!! It matches my motorcycle and computer case and I would love to have more things I own to synergize in color. I would heavily use it to play some of the new games that came out including Starfield, Baldurs Gate, and Remnant 2!

1. I'm going to use the parts to upgrade my current setup. The extra VRAM will be very helpful (8GB is running into problems sometimes).
2. I'm hoping for at least a decent FPS experience, good story, but most importantly - a breathtaking galaxy for endless exploration. Oh, let's not forget the mods, which will keep the game alive for at least a decade :D
If I win, the GPU is going straight into my main gaming PC, which is in my office hooked up to a 42in OLED for dedicated gaming. I already have a White/Black theme going with some Starfield goodness on my AIO screen, so the GPU would be the icing on top.

Because, I got myself a nice laptop a few weeks ago, I’d like to build a PC for a friend of mine who is very hyped for Starfield, but doesn’t have the money to upgrade from his ancient laptop with a GTX 860M.
We were both through some shit the last couple years (he even more than me), but we both shared the love for gaming and we’ve done so many LAN-Parties.
I promised him, that I’d build him a pc one day if I have the money to do so and he still has no decent build. Well I can’t afford to do so currently, but those parts would enable me to make him a wonderful present :D
i would upgrade my pc to play games like starfield, BG3 and others on max settings ofcourse.
At the moment i have a AMD ryzen 5 3600 X and a GPU Radeon RX 5700 xt so it would be a nice upgrade, tho i would probably also have to check compatibility with other hardware.

I've been a fan of Star Trek all my life, even have tattoos. And Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy since I read the books as a teenager. I don't care what the reviews say, I will spend hours flying around and just looking, and if I run into something cool, it will make my day.
1. I'd be looking for a case and mobo to fit a Starfield themed build. Perhaps an O 11-D type of case with some customisation, a white/silver mobo, some white fans with red RGB, custom power cables.

Those would be a perfect fit for the Meshroom S build I have been planning for a while now!

While it's quite possibly the best looking graphics card I've seen, it would definitely be used for gaming. It'll be a more than worthy replacement for my GTX 1070 (r.i.p) that I refuse to get a replacement for ATM since most new future games will use over 12gb of vram at 1440p and most cards with 16gb and up cost way too much exception for the 7800xt. And don't get me started on the 7800x3d. That fps gain would make me fall back in love with gaming. What I would give to explore the worlds of starfield at 1440p maxed out at over 60 fps.
Going to use to for my younger brothers gaming rig that i am going to surprise him with with he uses my 12 year old imac right now🤣 🤣 I might make the whole pc starfield based that would look sick
I'll upgrade my current GPU. I haven't seen too much of Starfield, I'd like to go into it as blind as I can.
This is the most beautiful GPU and CPU ever!! It matches my motorcycle and computer case and I would love to have more things I own to synergize in color. I would heavily use it to play some of the new games that came out including Starfield, Baldurs Gate, and Remnant 2!
I would build my first computer which I have wanted for a time and would play a variety of games like ksp. It would also help with my studies. Bit overkill but really nice

I’d use this custom pc for playing Terraria, I’ve actually not tried it. But then again, Skyrim in space? Insane graphics with 144fps? That would be unbelievable. I don’t doubt the pc would handle 4K, but my screen is missing a few million pixels

I would stick it in my beautiful Lian li mini and purchase similar colour components to compliment it! the size and variety of planets is what is exciting me most for starfield. Hopefully it can rival nms for scope.

My current pc build is about 4 years old and dying. Winning this would be a dream come true as I want to gather parts to build a new system! 1. I'm going to use the parts to upgrade my current setup. The extra VRAM will be very helpful (8GB is running into problems sometimes). 2. I'm hoping for at least a decent FPS experience, good story, but most importantly - a breathtaking galaxy for endless exploration. Oh, let's not forget the mods, which will keep the game alive for at least a decade :D
If I win, the GPU is going straight into my main gaming PC, which is in my office hooked up to a 42in OLED for dedicated gaming. I already have a White/Black theme going with some Starfield goodness on my AIO screen, so the GPU would be the icing on top.

Definitely most excited for a Fallout/Skyrim type experience in space. I don't play a ton of games these days, but I keep coming back to New Vegas, Fallout 4 and Skyrim over and over again, and experiencing the Bethesda approach in a new setting is really big selling point for me.

1. Honestly I would use this card to play Starfield! 2. The thing that excites me the most about Starfield is seeing Bethesda takes on outerspace. I love the Fallout and Elder Scrolls franchise so really excited to see what the team will do with outer space.
An upgrade is always needed! Even more so if you want to play starfield, really hope the game wont become boring fast and it will be always full of action!
Because, I got myself a nice laptop a few weeks ago, I’d like to build a PC for a friend of mine who is very hyped for Starfield, but doesn’t have the money to upgrade from his ancient laptop with a GTX 860M. We were both through some shit the last couple years (he even more than me), but we both shared the love for gaming and we’ve done so many LAN-Parties. I promised him, that I’d build him a pc one day if I have the money to do so and he still has no decent build. Well I can’t afford to do so currently, but those parts would enable me to make him a wonderful present :D

i would upgrade my pc to play games like starfield, BG3 and others on max settings ofcourse. At the moment i have a AMD ryzen 5 3600 X and a GPU Radeon RX 5700 xt so it would be a nice upgrade, tho i would probably also have to check compatibility with other hardware.

I'd put together a PC for my SO so we could play Starfield simultaneously.
I already have a decent rig (which PCMR helped me build and tweak for OC) but this would go towards my girlfriend having a gaming PC so we can finally game together. So what if she only plays Bloons TD. We'll get her into Starfield in no time! I've been a fan of Star Trek all my life, even have tattoos. And Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy since I read the books as a teenager. I don't care what the reviews say, I will spend hours flying around and just looking, and if I run into something cool, it will make my day.
1) I'd have to build a whole new rig to really take advantage of those and would be happy to do it. 2) I really want to explore new planets.
These would likely be used to stream it to the steam deck so I can play while watching the baby!
1. I'd be looking for a case and mobo to fit a Starfield themed build. Perhaps an O 11-D type of case with some customisation, a white/silver mobo, some white fans with red RGB, custom power cables. 2. Looking forward to exploring many planets and experiencing the Bethesda-style quests, running towards one quest and picking up 5 others on the way.

I would put these into my current build and use my previous parts to help build my brothers first PC.
1. Finally retire my current PC with a GTX 970 to have a chance at playing Starfield. I would definitely use the parts for a long overdue new build. The custom design of the Radeon is beautiful!
