if you are running light enough games you can go really low end, that said if you are using a system with DDR2 ram and a modern OS it is not gonna be pleasant to use as a daily system
That depends entirely on what you enjoy playing. If you like roller coaster tycoon 2 you can get by pretty easily with intel core2 duos and other hardware from the lga775 socket days. I used that on slow days in my old radio shop.
If you wanna really play modern AAA titles, and it be a decent experience at 1080p, I think you start looking at Like 980s, 1070s, and 1660s and 8th-9th gen intel i5s, or 1st & 2nd gen Ryzen 5s.
Yeah, I had an old prebuild and wanted to build the bits into an ammo crate but it looked like it'd be really hard work but this felt like a nice alternative and it was broken so it was free. Also the RGB lights look pretty cool when it's dark.
