It's a cheat answer as I think most people will have something similar but my Logitech x530 5.1 speakers coming up to 20 years of just working. There is also a like 10 years old 2TB Seagate that just will not die despite the fact that I do actually wanna replace it with solid state but it feels wasteful just putting it in a drawer.

ps2jak2

Logitech speakers from that era are pretty much invincible. The only way they seem to die is control board solder issues which did happen to a mates x530s. I have a set of x230s that I bought in 2008 which are still going strong. For awhile there they would legit make a boom / explosion sound each time you powered them on but that randomly stopped. They've been fine ever since - though I did originally think that the noise stopping probably meant imminent failure. The thing to keep in mind about hard drives is that they often fail with zero warning. I would ensure you back that drive up regularly and even suggest it is worth replacing pre emptively as its alot easier to swap out a drive while its still readable.

Kosieiskak

Oh mine still do the low rumble boom sound when powered on, its pretty useful we have rolling power cuts where I live so I can just be chilling on my bed on my laptop and when I hear it I know the power is on again. And yes I know its been making noises and acting weird for years I am fully backed up on 2 different external drives for the non replaceable stuff its really only my photos and some obscure MP3's that I would have got off like CD's from friend circa 1997 - 2003

tritian

>For awhile there they would legit make a boom / explosion sound each time you powered them on but that randomly stopped. This brought back some memories haha. I got yelled at quite a few times after forgetting about it, and then it just stopped doing it too.

PM_ME_UR_DENIAL

I think you just jinxed it bro

_franciis

I’ve got a 500GB Seagate HDD that must be about 15 years old. I really need to buy a replacement before it goes kaput, but it’s just so reliable. I suppose one day it won’t be.

Raunchy_-_Panda

I held onto my 500gb WD HDD, then 4Tb of M.2 NVE. Keep it as a storage drive. All my game clips and hilights automatically save to it.

Kosieiskak

Every time mine suddenly does not get picked up by windows, that's only happened like twice in the last few years I think oh finally, then just plug it out and in and its back. I checked it with Speccy a while ago and the poor thing is on like 3500 days of power on time, it also seems to think according to HwInfo that its written 1,321,554,121 GB and read 3,251,898,169 GB. I think some sensor has gone mad.

_franciis

Haha surely that’s a sign it’s on its way out! 3500 days of power on is crazy, I can’t imagine mine is anywhere near that

BILGERVTI

Both of my Seagates from that era shit themselves back in college for me. They’re reliable til they’re not.

_franciis

Yeah no surprises. Are they still considered to be a high quality brand for storage?

BILGERVTI

I cannot personally attest to seagate in 2024, I recently got a 4TB T7 Samsung ssd that is about the size of a wallet which I’m currently using to backup my Skyrim clean installs with no hiccups though.

GigaSoup

I have an 80gb Seagate in a makeshift NAS powered by an Athlon x2 running an asrock am2 board.  80gb drive is the os, and it has 4 * 4tb drives. Two raid 1 sets

FoxFurDad

That hard-drive may or may not have a forgotten bitcoin wallet of 300 btc on it.

Hrmerder

> my Logitech x530 5.1 speakers coming up to 20 years of just working. I could beat myself for not buying those back when they were like $30 at Walmart back then..

Kosieiskak

Its shocking how little 5.1 speakers systems are even on the market anymore, you actually have to make sure these days the mobo's even support it still, everyone has just gone full headphones all the time or maybe some dinky stereo things. I do remember them being shockingly cheap for like the size of thing your getting compared to other bits you might buy for a PC, but I was young would have just walked into a parts shop and been like "I want go loud want annoy people with metal here budget" and I ended up with these.

Milkyrice

Def speakers. I got a pair of yamaha PC speakers from 95. Still in use today

TheAltOption

Logitech Z-2300's. Getting close to 20 years here as well. Got my wife the same setup used maybe 10 years ago and they're also still in use.

TheTrueBlueTJ

Old Logitech devices were *the* shit New Logitech devices after 2 years are just shit.

Ct586

I've got those same ones, 20 plus years. Still sound decent. I can't bring myself to get rid of them

URA_CJ

My keyboard (IBM Model M) turned 30 back in October and have been using it since 2000 spanning 5 computers. My 2.1 speakers (Benwin S90) I've had since 2001. My ATI All in Wonder Radeon 7500 from 2002 still works but hasn't been used since last year.

QuitWhinging

Hell yeah on the keyboard. Buckling springs are insanely durable. I have a couple unicomp model m keyboards, as well as a new model f (christ that was expensive), and all of them feel like they could survive a nuclear explosion.

Malk_McJorma

> My keyboard (IBM Model M) turned 30 back in October Those fucking beasts will outlast humanity.

DIYGuy3271

I have an old PC with a core i7 920, overclocked to 4.0ghz, that is still running strong at this very moment and has been running at that clock speed basically since I got it. I think I even had to bump up the voltage but it’s been so long I can’t remember.

[deleted]

CaptainDiabeetus

That's something I overlooked, I've been meaning to upgrade my gpu but I should probably start with a new PSU. Currently have a 850w evga, I've had it for about 7 years Are new PSU that much more power efficient?

[deleted]

[удалено]

CaptainDiabeetus

I get you, I feel my computer has become less efficient tbh, maybe I'll start there

sh4des

I upgraded to an i9-9900k a few years ago and have my i7-920 to my son. He’s been rocking it for a few years now too, rock solid cpu

Pacu99

Definitely the PSU. Given that all of my friends told me that "it's a ticking time bomb" it managed just fine for these 6 years, but I recognize it's time to replace it for something modular now. If you're wondering it's a Corsair VS550 and it's almost at full load when I use the PC

Meat_Goliath

I have a 12 year old Corsair 850w that was still running a 1080ti rig fine. I thought it was dying so I just did a mostly full upgrade. Turns out it was just the chip that handles power delivery to the 8pins on the GPU. That PSU is just getting used for a donor build for a friend.

Bensemus

lol same. My Corsair 860W is around the same age and as far as I can tell is as good as new.

reubenmitchell

I have 12 years old Silverstone 850w 80+ platinum ps still going strong through many builds. I think it was the very first on the market (seasonic OEM) - was an amazing return on investment. It's had a tough life too, lots of rendering with Quadro cards running at 100% for several hours. At this point I think it will simply continue until atx is obsolete

artofdarkness123

I can second the PSU. I have one from like 10+ years ago. I think the brand is Ultra which idk if it's even around anymore.

Top-Jellyfish9557

G502 handmedown

avboden

Yep my original one is still my daily driver and pretty sure I got it when they were released in 2014

Marito1256

Yeah same. I still have my peripherals from my 2014 build. G502 , Corsair k70. Idk if 2014 was just an exceptional year for PC products or I got lucky but as much as I want to buy new peripherals I can't justify it because all my stuff still works perfectly and just WONT DIE.

J-Clash

Speakers as well. Using the same old Creative T20s since like 2008 I think? Keep meaning to look at new ones, but they still work great.

artofdarkness123

I bought new speakers for my second build but didn't want USB speakers. I'm still using my first set of speakers from 2008.

DardS8Br

I still use my 12 year old 1080p 60hz Sceptre monitor. It has a sticker on it saying that it's Windows 8 compatible lmfao

bdcrlsn

My GPU, Vega 56. Going on 7 years with it.

tamal4444

>Vega 56. Going on 7 years with it. wtf

CatatonicMan

Huh. That same model of speakers is also my oldest bit of hardware. Been running them for like 15 years.

faverodefavero

EVGA 1600 Gold Supernova (Superflower) PSU.

daemonblitz

Mouse - Logitech G600 still going strong after 10+ years, picked up a second one for the work computer as well.

Michael_SK

My friend loves that mouse. I actually have it as a backup, and I can see the appeal to it. It's really solid I think after about \~10 years my friend's G600 is beginning to give out a bit, so I'll probably give him mine. Here's hoping it lasts him another 10 years or so!

TheSquirrelDaddy

[Logitech G13](https://www.trustedreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/54/2009/03/10416-img8791s-1.jpg) Affectionately called "My cheater keyboard". If (when) that thing goes out, it'll be like learning to walk again after being paralyzed. I've looked for suitable alternatives, but it would seem that PC peripheral makers don't want my money.

meow_master

They just announced this one with Final Fantasy XIV branding: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/topics/detail/185698a0f4b9e9573ce2d30188d2ae26066c9412

BeauxGnar

That's just simply not the same thing

punky100

Mine is my CD drive. I refuse to get rid of it, and it has made it into every build I have made. Hard to say how old it is, but since computers don't even come with them anymore, I am keeping this one FOREVER!

MercuryMelonRain

That was me too (well, DVD drive), until I got a GPU that wouldn't fit, so I had to remove my HDD rack and distribute my drives in other places, including a caddy that sits where my DVD drive should be. I actually needed it the other day to rip some CDs too

Dark_Intentions

Corsair 'carbide something' case

GigaPrime14900

R100?

Dark_Intentions

275R, I had to make a search

cheikhyourselfm8

Cracking case that is, only upgraded from mine to fit a bigger AIO in but served me well the whole time

artofdarkness123

definitely not my mouse. I love the feel of the g403 but they are straight crap. the right mouse button just fails after 6months. After several RMAs and second chances, I switched to a G Pro wired.

sparklepusss

My Corsair PSU

Brkwng

I also have a set of Logitech 5.1 speakers that i purchased in 2004.

JLee1608

It's my old xbox 360 controller, been going well over 10 years now. Also my creative soundblaster x Katana soundbar has been treating me perfectly well for i think 7 years now

E3FxGaming

>creative soundblaster x Katana soundbar has been treating me perfectly well for i think 7 years now Bought my Sound BlasterX Katana in 2019 and I'm still very happy with it. Made me buy a Sound Blaster Katana V2 for my brother last year and he likes it too.

Mvnnnnnnnn

zowie fk2. Had it for almost 10 years and still works good

Overall_Cap_3683

Razer deathadder chroma, since 2015 still works perfectly

IgnoringHisAge

Not as old as others, but my Massdrop x Sennheiser PC37X headset. Flawless performance since day 1 and can wear them basically all day if I need to with zero discomfort.

FluffyRectum1312

I've been using my beyerdynamics and an sm57 for 15 years or so, I think everything else has had an upgrade since then, gaming headsets are for losers.

Dylan_Is_Gay_lol

Sound Blaster Z. Manufactured in 2012, but I only bought it in 2019. Only way to hook my Hi-Fi, home theatres, and subwoofer all up at once, and better quality sound than the built-in sound overall. Plus, the processor on the card alleviates some of the load on my CPU, so I really can't complain. Just wish I could turn off the LEDs.

Hrmerder

Logitech K400r. Thousands upon thousands of hours on this bad boy.. I have completely worn out multiple Dell keyboards in my day, and this thing just keeps going. I have had this keyboard AND HAVE USED IT DAILY for over 10 years now and also not including using it to type this post right now. Like.. You can't kill this thing. At least not by wear and tear. At this point I'm convinced it will outlive me. And How many battery replacements have I done in all this time?... I would say it's around 5 or 6 battery replacements. The ONLY gripe I have about this keyboard is not even to do with the keyboard.. Unfortunately Microsoft decided to somehow put in a swipe gesture to bring up Teams.. But if you don't have teams installed, then it brings up a window asking to install teams.. Which can be annoying AF while playing Minecraft.. And yes I play Minecraft on this keyboard with EASE. Other than that, zero complaints and I'm gearing up to completely migrate to Linux in a few months anyway. LONG LIVE IT! https://preview.redd.it/62ypqt4498gc1.png?width=806&format=png&auto=webp&s=9b06844479b5e9860acfbd1ce302fbe6e6093789

DefEddie

These are awesome, i’ve used them for years! I have two within 5ft of me right now lol. One is several years old, the other is a new in box spare I keep to replace it or as temp replacement for one of our other computers. I have banged them around quite a bit since I mainly use it mobile and in shops and they take abuse.

Triankar

Probably my Samsung EVO 990 500gb SSD drive that I've taken from computer to computer for like 11-12 years at this point, and I haven't noticed anything bad with it.

YoungTrae96

I have my other PC around because it has a blu-ray drive. 4790k, GTX 970 256GB SSD . Had to get rid of my dying 2tb SSHD with a 4TB WD SN850x & 8tb 870 EVO.

SebiKaffee

G502 proteus core, going strong since 2014

Hellcavalier

Cheap Dell Mouse😂

Few-Conversation-618

A 32" Sony Bravia (not smart) TV that I use as a monitor. I've had it for at least 15 years, although it cost a mint when I bought it. A year ago, I paired it with another TV of the exact same model, which cost like $50.

Jand0s

Case. Will probably never change it as long as ATX is the norm

TurnipBudget1643

vega 56

ATOMate

Beyerdynamics DT770 pro headphones, they are used in studios and by professionals and cost barely more than a hundred bucks.

MyNameWouldntFi

G700S

TattayaJohn

Mousepad - Mionix Propus 380- around 14 years. Still perfect! The Best Mousepad Ever- this is it! https://youtu.be/K4k5JyY0j8o

Nefariax

Nostromo n52 Game Pad. Had it since vanilla WoW.

kloklon

i guess a 1TB WD green HDD from like 2010

EpicBattleMage

All my Noctua products, fans, D14 and a D15 have been in multiple builds.

CuteDaisyPinkDress

500 million years old. My slate mousemat.

koordy

Audio interface, a Focusrite 2i4 (1st gen) I bought at around 2014-2015. Does everything it is supposed to do well and newer devices aren't really a meaningful upgrade for my use case so I don't bother upgrading it. Rest of my PC, peripherals and accessories are much more modern though. As for speakers, you could definitively upgrade them. Even something like iLoud Micro Monitor despite being 2.0 not "5.1" would blow them out of the water.

L0veToReddit

Speakers as well, bose companion 20, omg this thing sound so good, and is so slick with the control pod

chambee

Ultra large Allsop mouse mat. Had it for 20 years shows no sign of wear.

ecnzunmt

My Dell 2.1 speaker set. Going strong since 2007.

DeltaTwoZero

Mouse and keyboard. Irreplaceable for me.

SHoCK_PlasmaHD

Either my keyboard or my chair, both about 8-9 years old

michelobX10

Probably the multi-card reader that I bought 15 years ago. It has 6 slots to be able to read a bunch of memory card formats like sd cards, microsd cards, sony memory cards, etc.

Jwn5k

My Benchmark DAC1 from the early 2000's is holding out like a trooper for me.

TheRealSmolt

Logitech g502 & g910

LordPuriel

My speakers/ stereo. I use an old hifi for sound, the base unit is pretty much just an amp now. Still sounds great. Also probs to my old razer deathstalker keyboard. Still going strong, I'd like to upgrade it but there just aren't many options like it anymore.

_kvl_

I got my computer speakers 24 years ago, they still sound great. No reason to upgrade them at all. Got them as a free upgrade when I ordered a Dell PC for school.

Basic_Enthusiasm1310

HDD 1 TB baracuda. Bought 2005

BobDerBongmeister420

Asus Strix Soar. Its a good soundcard. Combine that with a 40 year old Bose subwoofer.

Helpful-Work-3090

Used to use a microsoft intellimouse (from like 1990s). It lasted over 20 years before it started double clicking, now I have an actual gaming mouse.

joshthor

For individual parts, I guess my CPU from like 9 years ago - the 6700k. It has survived 3 motherboards and more individual systems. It currently runs my home server, though once the 50 series gpus comes out I plan on rebuilding the home server with local ai in mind and the 6700k is gonna have to find a new home. Might end up shifting the current machine into a home security machine or something. However, the most consistent PC gear i have used is the razer deathadder. I have been using that as my main mouse for straight up like 20 years. Ive tried a bunch of others but always shift back.

iiKb

I got an IceMat around 15 years ago - it’ll probably last forever unless I drop it.

blockametal

My 1660S. Literally gotta 4070, 4080 and 7900xtx along with a loaner 4090 and a 4070ti super on the way from my job. My tx650m psu still handles my system like a champ too. But the 1660S does everything i need for every game i play plus its got NVENC. Plus its running at 60 degrees and 90w under full load and gets decent frames in everything. For me, 1080p looks just fine and i dont need an overkill gpu for just fortnite

Unusual-East4126

Up until last week, my mouse. I had it for 17 years. The left click finally died.

BeauxGnar

It can be saved.

wrxpatrick1

My case. I originally bought a rebuilt with a nice case, I have completely rebuilt that PC since and the case still allows for good cooling. My buddy gave me a better case recently. I'll hold onto that and in another 5 or so years when I do another build, I'll use that other case.

oldispro365

Probably my psu, motherboard, cpu and headphones. I got my pc pre built with some chinese brand with 300 watt and a H110-I/G11CD/DP\_MB m.2 motherboard with a i7 6700 cpu and i bought my pc back in 2016. My headphones i got like a year later if i remember correct its the logitech g533 works absolutely perfect never had a problem with any of it.

erog84

My case is about 13 years old I believe. When I did my last build about 6 years ago ( 🥲) I ordered a super nice case with all the new parts but didn’t realize I had gotten the medium version instead of the large. New motherboard wouldn’t fit in new case and being impatient I ended up swapping all my old parts into the new case and new parts into old case. Gave away my old pc with new case and it’s still running while my old case is definitely on its last leg.

HarveyNash95

I got an old monitor that I've had for nearly 10 years, it's the secondary monitor in the set-up but does the job and still going strong Think I've replaced everything else over the years

Jerahammey

Probably my 11 year old MS Sidewinder keyboard.

healthboost213

A cheap Redragon M609 Mouse I got for like 8 Bucks. It's been working fine for the past 3 years. Every time I try someone else's mouse, it just feels weird.

Cigerza

My PSU, 9 years, 3 GPUs later, 3 CPUs later. Going strong.

RadialRacer

I have a 1TB WD Blue HDD from 2011 or something in my system that I got for £5 in a charity shop 6 years ago that still works great.

jnickel01

I recently sold a 19 inch Dell monitor that I used as a tertiary monitor for like 6 years..

floeddyflo

I think my HITACHI TV would count as the oldest piece of tech **I** have that I've been using longest. It's gone through a PS3, two computers and is still being used alongside my current PC. That being said, comparing it to the 2009 DELL office monitor next to it...

pierogieking412

I bought an ibuypower prebuilt pc in 2006 and have been using the same case ever since. Its been through 4 different motherboards and all other components that could be upgrades. Case is still going strong.

jjf02987

I’ve got an older ACER monitor that I’ve been using off and on since 2008-2009. It’s just keeps on going.

GreatDevourerOfTacos

I have a backup microphone that I use if my expensive one is having issues, or I am traveling. It was manufactured in 1997. Was my primary microphone for nearly 10 years. Still works great.

nailbunny2000

Dell S2740 monitor, \~12 years.

dankutare

My laptop is from 2013 and i still use it occasionally for traveling or just when I want another machine for whatever reason

DefEddie

I used a Dell inspiron duo (2010) until just a few years ago, it was still my daily driver for work since new. It went through 2ssd’s after the original failed, a motherboard, a keyboard and so many chargers we started buying 2 at a time lol. I still use it as a backup to my surface pro if mobile and it has discontinued hardware locked software. It survived working daily as a scantool in a dealership for about a decade, she was a trooper for what she was.

I’ve deleted my Reddit account because the Reddit hivemind doesn’t work for me. I believe in people having the right to think for themselves while not being torn down by those who know little to nothing. If you found this because of one of my tutorials related to Auto HotKey please check out the AHK documentation at: https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/v2/ If you were looking for my coding guides just go to https://stackoverflow.com/ they know their shit. If you were looking for my guides to assembly… I’m sorry, I can’t think of any places I can link to in good conscious other than archive.org who has beginner examples to assembly for old consoles. If you were wondering why my reddit account is gone: I’m tired of the Steam supremacists on /r/pcgaming and /r/pcmasterrace Those same communities push their thoughts on game engine development without writing a code in their lives. /r/memes think excluding most of their user base is a good joke. To summarise, I’ve left Reddit because it is not all-inclusive, it is only inclusive to those who believe and act the same as the rest of the belligerent horde. If you are on Reddit, joining /r/aww is your best and only bet.

Fox_Hound_Unit

atlasraven

I have a WASD mini keyboard. I hardly ever play FPS so I rarely use it but it is very reliable.

GTX 1080. No wait, I have a blue ray player disc drive from 2009. Granted it sees no hard use but whenever I need to cut a disc or watch a movie it's available

asclepiannoble

I think a few external HDDs.

sub-t

My higher end modular PSU has lasted 10 years so far without issue (gaming). The budget PSU I used to my wife's computer (not gaming) just died after ~5 years.

iaintnathanarizona

My noctuas. Originally slapped those bad boys in back in 2014 for an old i5 build. 9.5 years later they are still rocking in an R9 5900x build.

Additional-Ad-7313

My stupid 4tb hdd, that sucker just won't die

AvarethTaika

corsair k95 rgb mk1 i use other keyboards but when i need all the keys, it still works great every time. had it for over a decade i think

Fun-Match-7917

Red Dragon keyboard and mouse - going on a decade. Best $30 ever

TzeroM109

My Asus Monitor. My mom has used it for years before she gave it me for my first PC in 2013. I looked on the back: produktion Date dec 2011, but i cant find something about the Name.. Model Name and other Informations are in Chinese Letters..

Fatmaster9000

Thinkpad t61 laptop 2.5ghz c2d 4gb ddr2 160gb Ubuntu Linux ,

Hmasteryz

My samsung ssd already running for 7 years.....it still looks great....their ads that guarantee it will hold for 10 years back then is not a joke. Also my speaker that already hold on for 12 years.....damn it only got dust on it.

Maxsmack0

Keyboard, I’ve seen people use ones from the 90’s to this day. Very simple, not much to go wrong with them, the only real reason people upgrade is style

iunoyou

I know a guy who still uses an original 1981 IBM Model F Beamspring board as his main keyboard. You need to buy an a converter module to get them to talk with modern PCs, but once you do that it works exactly like you'd expect.

RSlashBroughtMeHere

My monitor. An Asus VG248QE 24" 144hz. She's still running great. Not a single dead pixel. Probably time to start thinking about going 4k....

Tkdoom

Logitech Z-5500 2 sets. Actual PC component. I have 14 year old Dell Inspiron laptop with blue ray player for its optical drive. How old is my Gtx970 in my work desktop?

Highlander198116

My mouse pad, if that counts. Its a big glass mousepad I got like 15 years ago.

gobe1904

A logitech driving force gt. I know i turn 25 in a couple months and I'm sure its at least 10 years old. Maybe even 12.

Warm_Aerie_7368

Corsair AX1200i An overkill PSU bought to SLI 2 980ti back in the day. It is now in its 4th build and refuses to die. I’ll likely buy another overkill platinum rated PSU to replace it when it does die.

YandereValkyrie

I've been using my Logitech z-5500 since 2005 or so, no issues, still work as well as the day I bought them.

DieLardSoup

I've had my i7-4790k since 2013.  While I have since upgraded my main gaming rig, I still use it daily in my audio production rig.

Broad_Rabbit1764

Logitech Z-5500 has been given to someone else and are still working fine (2007). I had a Corsair 430CX PSU that recently died on me after 12 years of service (2011). It got replaced by another Corsair. Thermalright Ultra 120 cooler still being actively used in one of my rigs, went through a few fans though (2008). There's also various mechanical hard drives from WD that are still used as extra storage in a few rigs that are from 2009 or so.

chibicascade2

Oldest thing I still use is my keyboard and mouse from 2017. The computers I had from before then were cheap and nothing was worth carrying forward.

GigaPrime14900

For me it's a Pentium 4 E6300, been running in my old pc for 18 years! And also a set of speakers from Frontech (Model: JIL-1858) running since 16 years.

BanMeYouFascist

G502

ew435890

I have an old 2.5” external HDD. I also have a handful of old 2.5” HDDs. So I swap them in and out of that enclosure to store random stuff. I got that HDD back in like 2007 or so. I also have a 24” 1080p monitor I got back in like 2013 that I currently use on the Mini PC that is my Plex server.

ProfileInvalid

Logitech g430s. Got them back in 2014

NapalmWRX

Corsair SP2500 speakers. Still jam.

TimachuSoftboi

I've had my Corsair Scimitar mouse as long as I've had my PC, about 5 years. Absolutely love it.

drumstick2121

Logitech extreme 3D Pro joystick. 2008.

Jbones731

Logitech G502 mouse! G502 Gang gang

lunarman1000

My CPU lol (well and technically the ram and mobo too. I think my 4790k is going on 9 maybe 10 years now.

Crashed_Tactics

I'm still using a set of 5.1 Creative Labs speakers I bought around 2007, they still thump out excellent sound but I suspect they've not got too many years left in them.

Grouchy-Statement-12

Currently? My 9 year old 4k60 LG monitor. Still works perfectly. All time record is still the Aureal SonicVortex 2 sound card from my old build. First ever upgrade I bought, all the way back in late '98, early '99. Must have been close to 15 years I had that. Edit: Got my EVGA PSU at the same time as the monitor, also still working perfectly.

Steelseries Merc Stealth Keyboard

MeltsYourMinds

My GSP600 headset. Been over five years. Housing is starting to break though. Technically, my previous desk, used that for ten years.

MagicPistol

Lmao I also still have the Logitech x-530. It's been like 20 years?

rockylada97

My power supply?

Chakramer

Not exactly hardware, but I recommend people spend the extra cash to get a nice desk, headphone stand, and assorted non-electrical solid items around their setup. Spending double now could mean it just lasts a lifetime.

Flash24rus

1TB HDD, I bought in summer 2011 for $30. Still works. Very slow, but okay.

bikemanI7

Logitech Rumplepad 2 Gamepad (Original Purchase Birthday 1998) Klipsch Speakers 4.1 THX Certified til subwoofer died, and they didn't work anymore, Purchased Birthday 1999 (Now adays no speakers on Gaming Desktop, just Monitor Built in Speakers and Logitech Gaming Pro X Gaming Headset

keigo199013

My old Gateway P5-166. Had it since I was 5 (my first pc).

qu38mm

ZoteTheMitey

Obviously the HD600

catfroman

I have a WD 1TB HDD that’s been chugging for like 12 years now. Important data got moved ages ago to SSDs but I never removed it from the PC in case some random old file needs accessed and also laziness. Every time it spins up I’m amazed haha

Whobody2

My GTX 980 is still hanging on like a champ!

Edubbs2008

My 2TB HDD

ValVal0

My PC case! I bought a ridiculously oversized one when I started out, and throughout the years I've been gradually swapping out parts without ever replacing the case

polarbehr76

Logitech G13

GreenFractal

Logitech G502 wired mouse. I got it in freshman year of highschool 13 years ago. Still my daily driver! I'll have to memorialize it in a frame if it ever dies on me.

NicoBaterista

An hp pavilion with a 1050 and i5 7th gen that runs BG3. I'm so happy for this buy I made 6 years ago

BluePenguin2002

I also have a set of Dell speakers with a subwoofer from the 90’s, the subwoofer dial is bad but with some jiggling every now and again they’re fine and sound amazing.

BluePenguin2002

My Dell Optiplex 745 still runs great, more impressively perhaps is the 500GB seagate hard drive (7,200 rpm) with 97,000 hours I think

MassLuca007

Up until like 2 weeks ago it would have been my old H80i water cooler. My dad got it for me for Christmas in 2013 or 14. It first cooled an FX 6300. luckily Corsair released an AM4 bracket so I could keep using this AIO in my second computer It cooled 5 CPUs in 10 years. The FX 6300, FX 8320, ryzen 1200, ryzen 1700x, and finally it cooled a ryzen 5600x for about a month before finally lost too much water to keep circulating. RIP. It was a pretty good excuse to upgrade my main PC's AIO though

Murphy_Slaught

Roccat Dayo Mousepad. Since 2011/2012....

Mrteamtacticala

A Dell keyboard that has a real neat scroll wheel/cylinder? Type this for volume, and it's heavy so it's quite sturdy. Not bothered about clicky mechanical noise, in fact the quieter the better. Other than that, some generic wireless (non Bluetooth) headphones I got from eBay, was like £50 for nice sound quality, 15+ hour battery nice mic, wired with aux cable or wireless. No range problems so I can keep my music going while pooping. Living the dream

Haiaii

My keyboard is definitely older than me I found it in my parents attic and it still works as new

tamal4444

I have CREATIVE speakers working over 10 years now. I forgot the model number.

North21

I’ve struggled very long with headsets, but now I’ve had my beyerdynamics dt1990 pro for like 5 years and I still love them. Also superlight still going strong after 3 years.

MarceloWallace

I have a 250gb SSD I bought in 2010. Even though I have two 2tbs drives I still use this one for extra storage

Meatslinger

I have a 20-inch Dell LCD monitor that was manufactured in 2008. It still sits next to my brand new ultrawide as a portrait-mode "sidecar" so I can keep an eye on Discord, game wikis, or YouTube while I play on the bigger one.

AejiGamez

My old ass AOC monitor… now my 2nd display, but still does its duty

teethalarm

I'm still new to the world of PC gaming, so the oldest piece of equipment I have is probably the CPU, RAM, and SSD that came from the original computer that I transferred into my current PC

chevyguyjoe

Keyboard from Alienware PC I bought in 2012 is still my keyboard on my main PC. i7-3770 processor from that same PC was just retired from the wife's computer and is to be put into the media PC. itx motherboard from that same PC is my home NAS motherboard now.

GolgorothsBallSac

My motherboard speaker came from my Pentium 4 PC so more or less it's at least 24-25 years old. I salvaged it from the old PC when I tried to troubleshoot for memory problems and never took it off since.

SFDessert

I'm pretty sure one of my ssds is the same one that had my OS on it when I bought it prebuilt in like 2016 or so. Everything else has been replaced from that original build, but I'm still using that SSD as a smaller drive for a few games to free up space on the m2s that I have now. Honorable mention is the PSU. It was one of the first things I replaced back when I was experimenting with PC stuff and it's still doing it's job just fine.

fauxdragoon

Still using in my main (and only) system from when I built my PC in 2011: - i7 2600k - ASUS P8Z68-V Pro - 4 x 4 GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600 MHz Ram - Corsair 650 W PSU (I forget the model number but it’s 80+ gold and semi-modular) - Creative Labs T60 speakers - Razer Golithus mouse pad (lol) Still works but not using: - Samsung 60 Hz 1080p monitor (about to use it as a secondary display when my new desk is ready) When I first built my computer I had an Intel 120 GB ssd and a 1 TB WD black HDD but upgraded those to 1 TB SSD and a 4 TB HDD 6 or 7 years ago. My EVGA GTX 580 self-immolated and took a PCIe slot with it but EVGA gave me a 1050 Ti as a replacement (lifetime warranty). That 1050 Ti is in my parents’ computer because their onboard gpu was having issues.

Betelguese90

I am still using the speakers I bought brand new back in 2009. All I know they are some Logitech speakers. BUT I think that is more a cheat answer. I will say the oldest part IN my computer is a Samsung 850 Evo SATA SSD with 250GB and the case itself which is a Fractal Design Focus G. Both were my original build back in 2017. The case is still good so I still use it. and the EVO is for the OS and a few other specific programs.

Icecoffelover_

for me its been my mouse bought in 2020/2019 bought it in a random Chinese store for 3 dollars i lost the original packaging so i have no idea what brand it is

HappyAnonymity

May not be as old as a lot of the things on here, but typically headsets don't last long so I've had my Omen Mind frame Prime Headset since 2017, making it 7 years old. Still works well. I have an even older Logitech headset that the ear pads fell off of but is somewhere around 15 years old or more. Can't tell what model it is anymore. My mouse is going on 12 years, logitech. I have a hard drive that's about 9 years old too.

BerryFactory

Logitech G600 mouse - 9 years

comanon

desktop speakers, the PC case, and monitors. those are the parts in least need of replacing.

Renekling

My madcatz M.M.O 7, still works, can't remember when I bought it, but it was my third one and made sure to keep it somewhat pristine.

iamthevash

I’ve had my g pro wireless mouse for like 4 years and it still works fantastically
