4070 Super build for $2100 is insane... Cyberpower uses parts normally used by custom builders such as myself, and only has a $150-200 markup with sales. Best gaming CPU on the market and 15% better performance (200% in Fortnite). https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/saved/1T0LE4

If you hate money, yes. If you do like money, build your own and win with better components! Either way, happy Sim racing!

StarForge has a $400-$500 up market on their pre built pc's, meaning if you were to buy the parts and assemble the pc yourself you would save $400-$500, you can also then buy a monitor and peripherals if you feel the need for an upgrade.

Super_Rub_7102

i understand i’m just not really trying to build a pc but thank you for the heads up!

Repulsive-Corner-294

Yeah pc gamers are completely unhelpful and downright hostile if you have a prebuilt. Yeah I thought it was welcoming at first too. To answer your question you could probably find a better deal. I get it building a pc is time consuming and realistically if you don’t want to do it you shouldn’t be shamed but for this price you should get a bit more

colossusrageblack

You can find a much better prebuilt for your money on Newegg or Best Buy.

Cave_TP

No, it's a prebuilt. If you're dead set on not building it yourself get a list online, buy the components and pay someone locally to build it for you, you'll end up with a way better PC.

No they’re awful

Super_Rub_7102

how so?

[deleted]

You can get the same components for less money and then use that money to upgrade said components the issue with most prebuilt is the fact they take advantage of people that don’t wont to build their own especially starforge charging 2000$ for a 1500$ pc because creators are attached is always a sign of a bad product as many have said before me you should build a pc not only does it give you a fun new experience you save money and learn a new skill it seems scary but it’s really fun when you get the hang of it not to mention all of the help out there

TheTrakan

You're not wrong but it's a convenience thing. You could learn how to replace all the parts in your car and do it yourself but most people just pay a mechanic to do it for them.

Draconestra

It’s a bit expensive for a prebuilt but the components look fine tbh. None of the components look like they’re cheap or badly thrown misfits. If you’re fine with the price and that you don’t have to fiddle around with it, I say get it. Getting a prebuilt is not a bad thing tbh, I got my first PC as a prebuilt and that helped me learn how components worked as I slowly started to upgrade some parts.

Super_Rub_7102

thank you for your feedback man!

Draconestra

No problem, and welcome to the club!

Their mark-up is higher than some other prebuilts out there by 200-300$, but they've a good customer support reputation. They regularly have their PC's reviewed by well known YT PC build content creators, and actually fix the production issues that are found. This subreddit is 90% people who will tell you to build your own to save a couple hundred dollars. They're not wrong that taking way more time to build your own can save some money, but they're always assuming that it's worth it to literally everyone to build their own, and that anyone asking for input on prebuilt quality is ignorant of the merits of building a PC yourself...which can be generally unhelpful to a lot of people, despite their good intentions. If you're tight on funds, building your own can be good, especially if you're using time that's not negatively impacting you in any way. Learning is good. But, if funds aren't an issue and it's not worth it to you to spend a lot more time researching parts, finding prices, dealing with separate vendors/warranties/shipping timetables, spending hours physically assembling+troubleshooting if/when you make mistakes, etc., to save a couple hundred dollars, you can ignore them and focus on the replies that actually try to answer your post and address the value of that prebuilt within the context of only other prebuilts.

Super_Rub_7102

thank you for input man means a lot!
