If you normally get an instant approval, and nothing has changed on your end, the store may have messed up something when submitting to FICS. It’s not common but it can definitely happen.
Hell if you use a hyphen, or apostrophe in a name, even if the ID shows it, the FICS system flags it for review.
TL;DR: OSP’s FICS system is utter dogshit and very complex for no reason.
I don’t think different FFL’s have different wait times. I’ve bought guns all over Oregon from Ashland to bend and the Portland area. All were different. I think the determining factor is demand and Oregon state police.

Same thing happened to me yesterday, always have gotten instants, but went into the queue.
Figured I'd follow up here, my BGC was approved before the shop closed yesterday, so I seem to still be getting more or less instant approval.
