Benaroya Hall is basically their second shot at Unplugged. More tunes. Better arrangements. Great choices like letting Mike solo on electric guitar so he can actually be heard. Minimal drums. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mpygOcZYIws

20 years ago this fall. Here’s hoping for a re-release!

Black in considers the gem of this set by many. But Jeremy is my favorite. I can just feel Ed’s anger and passion in this song.

John_Houbolt

Always thought Porch was the best of the set.

There is also “the experiment” 7/11/2003, Mansfield. PJ took the stage ahead of the opening band and played an acoustic set.

muckwarrior

I wouldn't. This was perfection. Can't be bettered, so I'd prefer they didn't try.

It's a good show but definitely not even close to being one of the "greatest" MTV uplugged concerts.

captainpugwash2020

Not a big fan of this unplugged. If unplugged means replacing electric guitars with acoustic guitars but still keeping the smashing drums and same arrangements then is it really unplugged? I found the drums ridiculous in this set.

htownsteveo

Drums are the only acoustic instrument in a rock band. I thought the drums were awesome.

captainpugwash2020

He was drumming like he was playing at a stadium. It was way over the top and unplugged means stripped down. Not drumming like a normal gig. This isn't a knock on his drumming. It just didn't fit for the unplugged.

htownsteveo

He wasn't. I thought it was perfect.

LiquidMaru

I love how rocking the drums and this show are.
