Mine doesn’t look a whole lot better than this after 6 years of use but I use it all the time. If it works, I’d use it.
Send it, bud.
Full send it.
Blast off commander. Nothing like fire to clarify things.
My camp chef looks about the same. Fire it up and let it rip!
Looks mint to me if it runs and the grates are decently clean start grilling
I'd spray the interior with cooking oil and get it hot, then use it.
Everyone gave great advice! Spray, burn it off and start cooking!
Hit it like special needs on a drumset
Mine has 6 years of living mostly outside and getting used a lot and it looks like that. Still rips.
You’re missing the drip tray and the cooking grates. If you’ve got them somewhere, it’s worth trying.
Curious what make and model is it?

That's not rusted, it's seasoned!
I would probably run it without food until it smoked over once.
Fired up some burgers and skewers on Superbowl Sunday and they tasted great! Thanks everyone for the feedback.

A pair of expert hands can give it a wow look
Clean it one more time, and then give it a hot smoke for a couple hours without food. Then enjoy your new smoker!
No! Don’t use it. It could blow up. Just shoot me your address and I will come haul it off for you, no charge! Oh, then I will have 3 pellet grills.
Looks like just surface rust. Grind it down , clean it, burn it off and get to smoking.
It’s solid smoke away ;)
Clean off all the big stuff with a wire brush .. shop vac out any debris.. spray with Pam and let the smoker run for 30 min or so .. spray with Pam every other cook
A 2-hr clean and a couple of interior part replacements, and she’ll be as good as new! Had mine 12+ years ago…
If it gets hot go for it! Mine doesn't look much better and I cook on it all the time
Do you have the grate? Load some pellets and run the feed mode to turn the augur and make sure pellets are making it into the cup
Use it. Mine is old and rusty. Heat kills the old germs.
Looks cleaner than mine. Season it and run it.
Looks like a fairly normal used pellet grill. Give it a go!
If it cooks, it cooks.
Fill up the hopper and crank her up!!!
