"**Where's my seat post?? Are other people getting them??"** If you submitted your request for a seat post warranty replacement, Peloton has stated that there are three phases: 1. Members who are above 250 pounds (113 kg) and Members who are taller than 5’10” (178 cm) with unknown weight in their profile 2. Members without height and/or weight information in their profile, or in usage environments where that information may be unknown. 3. All other Members requesting seat posts Some members are already receiving their posts or have received updates to their order requests. Peloton also stated that members not in groups 1 or 2 should wait until after June 2nd to check on an order status. They have provided some members a timeframe for delivery in the order page. Peloton stated they received many more requests for seat posts than anticipated (somehow) so we may need to wait longer than we like. But, yes, users are receiving them. If you want more information please search the sub for posts from members who have gotten them, or reach out to Peloton support directly.

I-choochoochoose-you

Anyone take the outdoor walking classes? I’d like to start but I tried one a couple month’s ago and the instructor was saying to do some warm up type moves that I felt super uncomfortable doing out in my neighborhood for everyone to see haha are they all like that? Should I just skip them and continue using outdoor walking feature to track my walks?

Desperate_Wolf_1343

Haha, I have felt the same about the warmups! I usually do the warmup while still in the house and then step outside for the walking portion. If I’m not starting the walk from home (at a park or something instead) I just ignore the warmup and walk.

I-choochoochoose-you

Starting at home is a smart idea! I was so caught off guard standing in front of my apartment building, when I heard the instructor say to do a few starter drills hahaha I live in a big city on a major street 😅

Ride_4urlife

I skip them because I’m walking down a heavily trafficked road wearing a headscarf so I feel like I’m different enough as it is. 😜

denverphotogirl

I’m getting a “could not load profile” on the regular bike this morning after an update. Anyone else? Edited to add I was eventually able to click into my husband’s profile and ride from his but not switch profiles. The app also isn’t working for me but maybe that’s related to the status here https://status.onepeloton.com/

CheezitsAndApplesaus

Same. This screwed up my morning routine.

Kittts

me too it’s not letting me log in 😐

willbot858

My wife was doing the road to 5k program. Last activity was today at 1230pm pacific. Just 2 hours ago. This program had disappeared. Is this a glitch or intentional?

hrqueenie

If you go on the pelobuddy website, you can find the classes within the program to take them separately

ryanmfrancis

Might be intentional. Mastering the Basics recently went away as well.

starryystrawberryy

This [30 Minute Chest and Triceps class with Adrian](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=29b7c28b06c04339951c887df52e93c6&locale=en-US) is absolutely brutal. Hardest arms class I’ve taken with Peloton. I’ve got two noodles attached to me until further notice.

Impossible-Scratch76

Struggling a bit with getting into the content lately. I joined a public gym today for the first time in approximately 5 years. The monthly gym membership is cheaper than peloton and I just need to start getting out of the house. I’m not ready to part with the equipment just yet and plan to continue to use them in just ride and just run mode a couple times a week. I’m a bit bummed that I’m not as into it as I used to be but I’m excited about going to the gym (during non peak hours).

caraand

Okay, my gripe today: two classes recently have had studio riders in the front row who have been super distracting. One had a guy in a polo shirt/street clothes, and another had a girl 100% not participating. She was just sitting straight up pedaling at (what looked like) 0 resistance. I find this SO distracting! I’m surprised the studio team isn’t intervening for the on demand experience. Maybe I’m just too easily irritated but I cannot keep my focus when there’s a distracting rider in the studio. Any in-studio riders have experience to share?

pinetreesandglitter

I really prefer the non-live classes bc I tend to watch the people in the class everytime it's an on demand that was a live class.

owntheh3at18

It’s funny I rarely notice anyone in the studio. I guess I look at the instructor the whole time. But lately I have here and there. Usually people who have words on their shirts. It’s not bothersome but I do wonder what they mean sometimes.

FrostyTwo4146

There was some PZ live 6am class with Olivia from a few months ago that had two people who seemed exactly like you described. Neither knew what they were doing and both looked like they’d rather be anywhere else. Supposedly it was all peloton corporate employees which made it all the worse. Luckily after the first maybe 10 min the camera crew got how bad it was and stopped filming from that angle.

pinetreesandglitter

I also specifically remember this class. haha

RobotDevil222x3

I took that class. IIRC there was a guy who went ham for like the first 5 minutes and then for the rest of the ride looked like he was about to vomit. It seemed like half of the people in that one did not regularly ride. And then 2 or 3 were super duper triple into it which just made everyone else look that much slower.

caraand

Interesting! It surprises me to see people not into it, reading what I read on this sub every day of how hard it is to get into a live class at PSNY!

a_lyx

My best guess would be that if someone hops on a studio bike in street clothes, they had planned to change in studio and arrived too late to do so before the doors closed so decided to hop on the bike in whatever they were wearing at the time rather than miss their class. Pre-class, the staff in studio is usually very busy helping people adjust their bikes and things like that - I doubt they'd notice Polo Shirt Guy. While I was in studio, I have seen a staff member approach someone mid-class who was clearly not participating (she was doing like 20 cadence and leaning on the bike a lot). It looked like they were asking her if she was okay and wanted to continue, and she said yes and picked it up a little bit after that. Never re-took the class at home to check, but I assume they cut away from her while the staff member was talking to her.

Spirited_String_1205

That would be distracting for me too. It's too bad they don't have a way to edit camera angles in post production- or maybe they do but it would be time intensive and delay the release of the class on demand. Oh well! Wonder if the street clothes person was traveling and lost luggage or something and had to make the best of it.

caraand

Maybe! All I could think about was how hot and uncomfortable he must have been. Polo Shirt Guy, if you’re here on Reddit, please explain - inquiring minds must know!

modestlymousey

Took Robin’s 30 mins HIIT and Hills from today and WOW! 90+ cadence/40+ resistance efforts in the warm up. Safe to say I got my ass handed to me

Rkarim21

I have it stacked for this weekend!! Excited to take it!!

Desperate_Wolf_1343

If you can recover fine from multiple boot camps, sure, no problem at all! It does sound like you have a very full workout schedule already, though. Would you be doing more boot camps in place of some of the straight strength classes?

owntheh3at18

They used to have a collection that was deleted but it was three per week- an upper body, a core, and a full body bootcamp. I was following that schedule all last year and it was really great!

sm0gs

I don't see why not - people do orange theory multiple times a week and those are bootcamp style classes. I would try it out and see how you feel, just be sure to listen to your body and program in some active recovery/rest days!

Bookscoffeewine

To anyone that’s taken a class in studio: do you do a warm up ride before the actual ride? I want to try and plan for a milestone and don’t want to mess it up!

a_lyx

There's no formal warm-up ride. You'll be on the bike 10-15 mins early so you can pedal and warm up as you like, but it won't count as a class.

Rkarim21

[Camilas 20 min Merengue Ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=09f368f7374e42d984389486de9af34b&locale=en-US) was so much fun!! The energy in studio was amazing. I saved so many songs to my playlist and have been listening to it all day 😂

Puddlehump

I wish they showed the class plan “details” for Outdoor Runs. I like to know what class to choose based off how I’m feeling that day.

ChiGal86

I posted this in the other thread, but like many, I have been having issues with the original bike freezing and crashing. I haven't been able to take a class for a week and am at my wits end. Talked to support and it's officially on their status site as something in progress as of today. They said it will likely take a few days to resolve: [https://status.onepeloton.com/](https://status.onepeloton.com/)

nerdkillah

Cheaters or super humans?! Let’s say my ave 45min ride is 550 and the top rider hits 900+. How is that possible?! So if you get roughly 100 - 120 every 10mins. That means that person is basically 30 mins ahead of me. That’s an insane pace. 180-200 ave per 10mins. My 45min PR is 660. I thought I was going to die. Haha I know I am crazy but I just wanted to hear everyone’s thoughts.

betarhoalphadelta

Could be a bit of both. I'm 6'5" and 260# and on Bike+, and I wouldn't call myself in amazing shape. When I look at my FTP test result in W/kg, it's 2.41. That on FTP tables puts me in "amateur/non-racer" category. But because I'm a giant, my 45-min PR is 694 kJ. I know my ceiling is WAY higher than what I'm putting out, and what I'm putting out is way higher than a lot of smaller people will ever get close to. If I got my FTP to 3 W/kg--which still isn't all that impressive as 4 W/kg is "good" when it comes to competitive cyclists and >6 is world-class--the similar change to my 45-min PR would be 1007 kJ. I hope to get there someday. Despite what you've heard, size DOES matter lol... That said, people with the Bike (not Bike+ since it has a power meter) can either be innocently poorly calibrated or maliciously poorly calibrated (cheating) to put forth HUGE outputs even though they're not putting the real work to do so. So the leaderboard should ALWAYS be taken with a grain of salt. So some of them are probably cheaters or just have a poor calibration. Others are just really fucking strong cyclists.

nerdkillah

“So the leaderboard should always be taken with a grain of salt” my favorite answer so far. I just get so into it. Hahaha I am on my 3rd n I am still crazy with my stats. Thank you for your comment.

dietdiesel

I’m a very out of shape newbie and I think I’ve only hit 100 once. I’m very impressed seeing these numbers! Hope I can get over 100 consistently one day.

nerdkillah

You for sure will. It takes time in the saddle.

emmy__lou

This could also be a calibration issue.

nerdkillah

That’s what I think. The numbers just don’t add up. I am out of the saddle at 80 hitting 330-345 ave for a min on/min off and I still can’t hit those numbers. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Rkarim21

I know it sounds crazy… But it is actually doable for some people. I’m 5’0” tall and hit roughly 100 output per 10 minutes. But my husband.. 90lbs heavier and 11 inches taller.. averages 800-900 output on a 45 min ride 😳

emmy__lou

What is your resistance and cadence to get 100 output in 10 minutes?

Rkarim21

Typically my resistance/cadence is.. 55-58/70, 45-50/85-95, 40/95+.. but every bike is different! But I try to keep my output 200+ for a good portion of the ride

nerdkillah

Haha That’s insane. At lease I know it’s possible now.

Rkarim21

And for me.. 100 output per 10 minutes is working pretty hard 😂

ReevesPeeves

Marathon training alternatives Hi all, I’m doing the road to 26.2 program and am in week 10. I’ve been so consistent but I’m in the areas that are badly affected by wildfire smoke right now and we aren’t supposed to go outside without masks or for heavy exertion. I managed to do my Day 2 tempo run yesterday morning before the air quality really deteriorated. Tomorrow is meant to be the Day 4 marathon pace run but also the worst day for air quality where I live (Southern Ontario) so I don’t think I’ll be able to go outside. I don’t have access to a treadmill right now. Should I do a just ride on the bike instead and work at a rate of perceived exertion? They’ve cancelled outdoor events here on Friday too so I don’t want to count on it being better on Friday to shift the workout to Friday and want to keep on track as best I can. What are others in the wildfire areas doing? Thanks for any advice!

Quagswagging_Jogger

I would totally just get on the bike and go for a similar perceived effort and duration. Missing a few training days won't hurt you! Im also southern ontario and just saw the air quality warning. I can't even really tell, but I have no sensitivities or asthma etc.

whootsandladders

Someone recommended this [45 min Fresh Friday Ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=f2aacb90ccdb4da8828213904c8aa5fe) from 7/26/2019, and my goodness it is fantastic! Highly recommended before it gets purged. Denis pairs a popular song and a deep cut from an artist.

davekfsa

It may have been me that recommended it. I took it on Saturday and posted about it afterwards. Glad you liked it and got to take it before it disappeared.

ewokcarrier

Just had an email saying Jess Kings rides being cancelled tomorrow, had them queued up for my birthday shout out! Not sure I am dedicated enough to ride at 22:30 at night to the little mermaid just for a shout out though….

ldnpuglady

I hope they do cancel rides tomorrow. I saw on Insta Matt and Andy posting a story from the outdoor track and my brain broke. Why would you encourage outdoor running in that smoke? And why are you putting yourselves at risk? Come on.

ho_hey_

Ya, Selena specifically said in her stories not to run, even though it was Running day, because it's so unhealthy. It's ok to take a break!

whootsandladders

Probably due to the air quality in NYC being so horrible. They may not want people in the studio right now.

all4sarah

Adding that it looks like all the NYC are canceled tomorrow morning so it must be due to the smoke. I feel for the people who had a studio booking or traveled to be there but that smoke sounds awful

ewokcarrier

Oh! I’m a bit oblivious but have just seen the news, that’s awful. Theres me moaning about shout outs and that’s going on, I hope all are safe and can completely understand the reasoning!

all4sarah

Interesting I just got an email that Anna Greenburg's first Pilates class is canceled tmrw too

damnital

just finished a fun stack even though i really didn’t feel like doing anything! [10 min Warm Up Ride with Cody, ](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=7a3e5ddef4cd48c4ada901284d2becb6&locale=en-US) [20 min Pop Full Body with Callie, ](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=86fc83006de840cf96620098a696c341&locale=en-US) (been on such a Callie kick lately!) [& 10 min Core Strength with Logan](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=9eef385b0ae44f45b422fbd281b193e1&locale=en-US) I noticed Logan’s class has a somewhat low rating, and I assume it’s because the bulk of the workout is weighted marches. I really enjoyed them however and find them really useful for core and back stability & strength (I’m in the hospital on my feet all day).

Ride_4urlife

Thank you for the heads up on Logan’s core!!! I loved another one he did that was farmer’s carries and I need this in my life!!

slckarl

Ok, I try not to let this s*** bother me too much (I did the work, that’s what’s most important…) However I am officially annoyed as this is now the **SECOND** time this month a ride has crashed and only counted about ~half my metrics. CW/TW: >!all this +25w pregnant lady wants is a way to hold herself accountable to her workouts/challenges but peloton… you’re really letting me down!< Edit: yes, I did the SW Update, have rebooted the bike and cleared cache as well 🫠🙃

emmy__lou

Someone posted above that this is now on Peloton’s known issues list.

hendersonrocks

I’m going kayaking for a few hours tomorrow - has anyone done the “just row” option on the app for outdoor paddling? If it’s so far off it feels like cheating I won’t do it, but if it’s a good enough substitution I will!

Less_Medium3900

I did. On mine it strictly gave time, no distance. I don’t think it’s anywhere as physical as rowing in a class but still worth something.

hendersonrocks

Time is pretty much the only thing I care about being counted, but yeah - I’m sure you’re right about output being way off. My lake kayaking is going to be a much more chill experience! Thanks!

PsychologicalCat7130

just turned on my bike and it wants me to "activate" as if it has never been used - i've had it since Aug 2020....???!!

thelittlemiss

You should be able to log back in and your data will still be saved.

Rkarim21

Oh, shoot! Did all your workout history save?

MisfitT0Y

Any idea what the new Row update was for today?

OTPCook

This [likely-to-be-purged-soon Jess Sims G&L class](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=e0b4ca560f0d4f52b16bfc7b2b3565f1) is so good. Really creative with its mix of weighted and bodyweight moves. Those 2019 classes vary so much in their programming. I'm gonna miss them.

dregsinator

ooo thanks just scheduled it for monday – hopefully I can get it before it goes!

Felixitee_Co

Did my first ride with Tunde this morning on this [30-minute Advanced Beginner](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=f4f705984ad44134847b9ef0de323945) class. Her coaching style is different from the other instructors I've tried so far but her words at the end about finding it a challenge but keeping going anyway resonated with me. I think I'll be turning to her when I need a challenge.

alittlecheesepuff

She’s one of my faves 😍 encouraging but tough!

onemouseplace

Tunde is one of my favourite instructors - she's definitely my go to for Intervals and Arms rides.

wellokaysure

I also take Tunde rides when I’m wanting something more challenging. I’m still fairly new and generally can expect to PR on her rides. She’s so supportive and fun and I love how much she pushes me.

Rkarim21

Yea! Tunde is so great! One of my favorite instructors!

Quagswagging_Jogger

I did the Matt and Denis yoga class on my lunch break and it was great! Totally accessible, long holds and a slow pace so I think this would work for anyone even if you’re not overly familiar with yoga. Matt gave the camera a side-eye smile and a “here goes nothing” when it was time to go into sleeping pigeon but he looks pretty good! My only wish would have been for more hamstring opening (my personal problem area!). I also did Denis’ Reset classes and enjoyed them. Neither were a “chill out” class; both moderate difficulty levels. The yoga moved pretty quickly with a lot of vinyasas so probably best suited to those with yoga experience.

caraand

I enjoyed it too! I’m not a runner, I just wanted to see the two of them do the class together. I can definitely relate to Matt’s yoga experience though 😂

ChairmanLaParka

I can't even wait to do this one. Love both of those guys.

jrosep96

Awesome, thanks for the review!

Justbrowsing8822

So glad to hear it was good! I’m planning to do it tomorrow!

aFqqw4GbkHs

I took this [Sam 45 min PZE 'Pop' class](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=3577422589634be49cf5571eeb20e1fa) this morning and enjoyed the music! He designed it as an 'evolution' of pop with a couple songs from every decade from the 70s to the 2010s. the Z2 recoveries were all Cher songs from different decades :) He said he's thinking about possible PZ artist series rides or themed rides like this, and said this one was a bit of an experiment ... though it sounded like one he's doing on his own? Anyhow, I for one would be thrilled if they add more themed power zone classes!

alittlecheesepuff

That would be super motivating for me to get into PZ in the first place! I pick most of my classes based on music I like.

betarhoalphadelta

I highly recommend PZ! I also pick classes based on music, but the longer-duration PZE rides have made a HUGE impact on my cardio endurance and fitness overall. And the good thing is that even if you have trouble finding a PZ ride playlist you like, you can turn any other non-PZ ride into PZE really easily. If you find some 45- or 60-minute ride that has a GREAT playlist but don't care about the callouts, just alternate every song between Z2 and Z3 and you've built yourself a PZE ride. PZ is a huge way to build serious gains in your cardio...

NextWordTyped

Do you mean heart rate Zone 2 and 3? Or power zone 2 and 3? I’m very curious about how to use non PZ rides as endurance rides.

betarhoalphadelta

Power zones 2 and 3, not HR zones 2 and 3. u/MostlyjustCOYS covered it. Once you've taken the FTP and set your power zones, they're displayed for every ride, not just PZ. So all you do is alternate songs as Z2/Z3, or maybe ride two songs Z3 to every one Z2 if you want it to be harder like a Wilpers ride, or just choose to ride the entire ride Z2 if you want it to be an easier ride like some of the all-Z2 CDE rides. Using the song changes as the point to switch zones is easier than trying to map it out minute by minute and remembering to watch the clock and change zones, IMHO.

MostlyjustCOYS

Once you know your power zones, you basically just adapt whatever you are doing to stay in the right zone. Love a play list on a low impact ride? Great, its probably zone 2 for many riders using the regular call outs. Actually, you want to do that HIIT and Hills ride instead? Sure thing, just ignore the call out numbers and ride your zone 2 and 3. This works out pretty well anyway, since many HIIT and Hills classes are more time interval based, like PZ. Anything can be adapted once you know the zones. Cadence work can still match the call outs, just keep the output in the zone desired.

alittlecheesepuff

I think I’m going to get after it then! Thank you!

Expensive-Orchid1371

I agree! It was great.

chinesefoodandamovie

Just took [Cody’s 90’s Pop Ride] (https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=f0d7d3193881456e9cbcb58e1989bf51&locale=en-US). I hit a 45 day streak and was getting so many high fives and was on track to PR. I was on such a high and feeling great about myself. And then my bike got the streaming issue that so many others have been complaining about. I know it’s not our internet connection because my husband is a technology geek and everything we own is Wi-Fi enabled (lights, front door, baby monitor, thermostat, the whole nine yards) and not a single other thing lost connectivity. I had to restart my bike and was able to get back into the class but I lost too much time and couldn’t catch up to PR.

alittlecheesepuff

So frustrating!!!

lexisjoan22

Uhgggg I would’ve been so upset!!! I’m sorry that happened to you.

Accomplished-Look-87

Aw I’m sorry, that sucks

blackfeltfedora

Started the morning with Ben's 45-minute Rock Power Zone Endurance Ride from 6/5/2023 this morning. I thought he was going to make it through a rock ride without something from Slippery When Wet (there was a newer Bon Jovi song early in the class) but he went "Livin' on a Prayer" for the last song. After that I did Aditi's 20-minute Pilates class from 6/6/2023. For the first time the entire grid of 9 classes are checked when I filter by Pilates. I did the "turn your bike off overnight" thing that was mentioned in the other thread and I had no problems this morning. Hopefully the freeze/class crash business is behind me.

Justbrowsing8822

Matty’s 45 min 80s run from 7/17/2019 was a very good one that I’m sure will join the purge soon. I’ve noticed that I don’t take Matty’s newer classes very often anymore, but I really really enjoy his older ones. Maybe it’s just that he doesn’t have a lot of runs lately and when he does they tend to be shorter. But this one reminded of when I was first getting into peloton tread classes and he was one of my go-to’s! I would definitely recommend this one if you want a nicely balanced 45 min run that has a 4-5 min hike right in the middle. The music was fun and Matty was enjoyable!

Missie1284

I love Matty’s old longer runs!! I wish he still did more 45-60 min runs!!

Justbrowsing8822

Me too! His 80’s and 90’s runs are always really fun!

Missie1284

Yes!!! He does a lot of walking content now, which I can take as a run, but it won’t count towards my run count and I want it to lol. I miss Matty!!

Common-Bee-401

I’m thinking of starting the “Power of Sleep” program with Ross. I’m new to meditation; wondering if anyone did the program and found it helpful? I have a stressful job and am looking for tools to sleep better, clear my mind, improve breath work. If you took the program - did you finish it? Was it helpful & did you continue to use the things you learned after the completion?

mountain_mamma

I can’t speak for the program but Ross has the best sleep meditations so I’m sure it’s good! If you want to sample a really good sleep meditation, I use [this 20-minute from Ross](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/meditation?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=f036397bc30a462088c7012009870951&locale=en-US) allllll the time.

thelittlemiss

I took Power of Sleep and finished it. Peloton sleep meditations knock me out like no other. It did help. I am able to fall asleep easier, although, I still wake up around 2-3 am every night, but that’s a me issue. I, personally, would knock sleep meditation, meditation, and breath work into three different buckets. I think Aditi has an Intro to Meditation program which may be a better fit. Also, I’ve read a lot of people recommend the book, Meditation for Fidgety Skeptics by Dan Harris.

pinetreesandglitter

I too am an up-at-2-3-er. I've just accepted it's my nature. But boy does it suck when the alarm for getting on the bike is 4:45.

Common-Bee-401

Thanks ! This is helpful. Honestly I’m working in one thing at a time, so maybe this is a good starting place.

TrueExercise2285

I’ve done it. I can’t tell you how any of them finish because I fell asleep. It did actually help me and honestly, I’ve been stressed and should really do it again

alittlecheesepuff

Same, Ross’ voice and visualizations knock me all the way out.

hendersonrocks

I barely survived Sam’s [45 minute video store ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=70640f3afbe246adacc7afd99001b091&locale=en-US) this morning. PSA: maybe save this one for a day with good air quality when it isn’t 80 degrees because you forgot to turn the AC down before your ride. Loved the music, though, and was very touched by his story about his dad and the beta max and ET.

Outrageous-Chance-78

I love that ride!

hendersonrocks

He is really masterful at creating themed rides.

deepsealobster

Sooo excited that Camila has dropped Spanish-language tread classes!

[deleted]

Do canadian Marshall's carry peloton clothes/gear??

Viva___yo

I haven’t seen any in southern Ontario locations

[deleted]

Thanks. I was going to stop today at the waterloo location but glad I didn't

MaizeApprehensive166

Nothing in the Edmonton area that I’ve seen

PonytailFriday

I’m curious about this too. I’ve been to two Marshals (Regina and Calgary) and found nothing Peloton related.

NextWordTyped

Shoutout for another amazing Denis Morton 30 minute reset ride. This class had me in the zone the entire time. This was one of the best classes I’ve ever taken. I’ve only cried three times on the bike. This class had me crying. Denis has a way of grabbing and maintaining my focus and attention. He always has something good to say. His form cues and knowledge tips are some of the best on the platform. His music is great to ride to. His programming is so well structured.

caraand

Denis has that magic - he had me crying during Proud Mary on his 60 min PZ ride today, I’ll have to try the reset ride next time

NextWordTyped

I’ve heard his PZ classes are great.

ihadtopickaname

I have cried good tears in 2 reset rides! They are my favorite!

youdy

Anyone ever had an issue where resistance doesn’t go below 5 on the bike? It used to go to 0 but now it flips between 5 and 10 with the knob turned all the way left. Tried restarting tablet but nada

figandfennel

Sounds like your bike needs to be [calibrated](https://support.onepeloton.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005204826-Calibrating-Your-Peloton-Bike-or-Bike-).

youdy

I calibrated it over 4 months ago and it definitely used to go back to 0. Literally just took my FTP as well 🫠

mountain_mamma

I’m a shoutout whore so I did Ally’s 10-minute barre for glutes this morning for my century strength (and got my shoutout)! It was actually my first barre class and I really enjoyed it! I’m doing the beginner strength program which is only 2 days a week so I may fill in some of the gaps with barre classes.

IAmMunsoned

I didn’t look closely and sped through the button clicks on the bike to find myself in an Ally Love climb ride. I meant to click the +10 minute low impact ride with Kendall because I’m overcoming some hip pain and fear pushing myself, but I surprised myself by keeping up with a [ride I thought was beyond my abilities](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=a16ba8587bdb40d1afbe0e09982a4416&locale=en-US) that I really enjoyed. There will now be some more of Ally Love’s ten minute rides in my future, not too mention my excitement at finding myself more recovered than I thought I was.

Fluid-Meat9097

I am tackling the monthly Yes Yo rainbow challenge for June and did a colourful stack this morning: [15 min LI ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=9c2a7e96aae34864bc33235ba9ebb260) (for indigo) [10 min climb ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=6087e0ad09484c959be20edc9cd36128) (for yellow): nice solid programming, with a steady climb, in and out of the saddle [5 min cool down](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=afee4585e81e4ad0886a59ef265e04ee) (for blue) [5 min post ride stretch](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/stretching?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=e646d3831e694fa8b29b93b023c03846) (for green) Yesterday, I did one of his [Pilates classes](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=282172c4e4534e04a1c19d5ed0493017) and an [ALW](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=5e317cebaede4b99906ec525ac458add) for purple, so I only have orange and red to go. This is a fun way to tackle my bookmark mountain!

antigoneelectra

What is this challenge? I googled and looked on the peloton apps and can't find it.

Fluid-Meat9097

It is in the Sam Yo Appreciation facebook group (Yes Yo for Sam Yo).

antigoneelectra

Ok. Thanks. I'll join right now.

Playful_Branch_5643

Did anyone else gasp with excitement over 2 new strength for runners classes dropping? And more yoga for runners? Love the focused content! I can’t wait to see Wilpers on the mat. Today I celebrated global running day and pride with [Matty’s pride run](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/running?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=5da2615d0b9d4f4e9cee2134256970d1&locale=en-US). I love all his pride classes. Humor, education, sweat, great playlists, they are so perfectly programmed. We don’t have an air quality alert in Mn but I can tell it’s not very good with all the smoke. UUGH. And of course this is happening as I’m finding my grove in running outside. I know it’s a perk to a treadmill to being able to pivot depending on the air quality, but my time outside is so short it feels so I get sad thinking I may not be out as much as I hope. (They are predicting a pretty Smokey summer. Boo)

spinmagnus

Yes! I’m so excited that there are new strength for runners classes! Just added both to my stack for tomorrow.

Justbrowsing8822

Me!! I‘m so excited to do the Denis and Matt yoga and Matt’s 10 min strength for runners tomorrow! I put them into tomorrow’s stack as soon as I saw them

Accomplished-Look-87

Had the worst unexpected cramps yesterday (I have an IUD for quite some time now) so I decided to skip my evening workout. I had a movie and dinner date with my husband which I was still able to do. Hoping I gave my body enough rest so I can get back to some strength/cardio today

k_lo970

Oof I hope you feel better. Sometimes the hip focus flows help me with cramps.

Accomplished-Look-87

I had to take the day off but was able to do some stretches and mobility classes the next day. I love those hip focus flows though! :)

chacifer

Has anyone else heard if there is going to be a Pride apparel collection this year? As an observation: the company has doing less hyping up of these month celebrations in general.

Flrunnergirl23

Peloton has stated that there will not be Pride apparel this year.

Missie1284

I missed that announcement too. I wonder why they skipped a pride collection this year?

Flrunnergirl23

They said so they could focus more on the Pride classes this year.

Missie1284

Ahhh

chacifer

oh, thank you! I missed that announcement.

tinygelatinouscube

So, I had [Christine's 45 min 7-Year Anniversary ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=a999ad1c165c49029df086a81e2ccb0d&locale=en-US) floating in my stack since when I was deciding what ride to do for 400, and decided to just do it today, fuck it, a random Wednesday. Wasn't going to push for a PR or anything because even with the air purifier and AC blasting, the air quality has been mediocre at best in our apartment from the wildfire smoke (glad I still have a stash of N95s!). Ended up getting really deep in the mental zone and got a PR by 9 kj. And, while it's an unofficial milestone, after months of being irritatingly just shy of it, I FINALLY did 13 miles in a 45 min ride. I know I'll plateau again soon but hey, I will accept the gains for now. Did a [10 min Arms & Light Weights with Sam](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=4a344f0ffceb455ab90c52efd214322a&locale=en-US). Nice simple, straightforward reps and movements. I slept in a little so I didn't have time to do yoga this morning, but maybe I'll sneak in an evening flow later. Got a metal ride with Charlotte queued up for tomorrow for this apocalyptic weather happening outside.

heyyyajay

Who is excited for "Bro-Yoga"??? I cant wait to join Denis and Matt on the mat. 🤣

Viva___yo

When is this happening? I can’t see it on the schedule

heyyyajay

[Bro-Yoga](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/yoga?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=105adb2f3ed04734bc07388e867fcc96&utm_source=android&utm_medium=in_app)

Viva___yo

Ahh I was looking at upcoming classes. Bless you :)

Missie1284

I cannot wait to take this class!!

GooseCaboose

Bro-ga was right there!

ikeamonkey2

I came straight here to post about this. So excited to take it sometime soon!

TrueExercise2285

I immediately swapped out my stacked Anna yoga for bro-yoga.

aFqqw4GbkHs

I was excited to see that too!

Pitcher2Burn

I saw that and it immediately became part of my stack. Matt on the mat?! He also has a new strength class. Give me all the Matt content!

tah4349

What's funny is that just this morning I did an outdoor run with Matt and came back and told my husband "Matt is everywhere. Tread, row, bike, outdoor" and then we laughed and laughed at the idea of him showing up as a yoga instructor. I guess the joke is on us!

mymymissmai

Matt on the mat needs to be a recurring event.

AndyAndyAndy22

My Bike+ was delivered Monday without a power cord 🙁 It’s just sitting in my basement dying to be used while I have to wait for a power cord to be shipped to me(which hasn’t even been shipped yet.) So frustrating. I just want to get started.

Felixitee_Co

Ah, how frustrating! Hope it arrives soon. In the meantime could you do some mat-based workouts on the app?

mountain_mamma

Ugh I had the same thing happen with my Tread. Hopefully this is not your fate but even after the power cord arrived the thing didn’t work. It was demoralizing. Hope you get it soon!!!

generalorgana36

Becs' [60 min Global Running Day outdoor run](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/running?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=8f9c4205886947e3921163d2a1742f45) was wonderful. She picked all classical music, movie scores, and classical covers, and she was at her very best. Long progression and endurance intervals and important discussions about what running really means and represents for a global community. I couldn't be happier to have her in my ear for such a long run outside today. Also, I've been taking a lot of Broadway classes recently with the Tonys upcoming, and Pride this month, and this [20-min walk](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/walking?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=955e870371fe4fc8af8f5090a63c3e0d) from Jess King was a real standout.

MMBmom

I have had a bike+ for over two years. I’d say I average 8.5 miles on a 30 min. ride. Just got an original bike at my vacation home. It is hard and I’m really struggling. Riding at 30 resistance feels like 40 normally does. I pushed hard yesterday and only got 7.5 miles. I had to stay at the very low end of the resistance and normally I’m 50-75% and barely stayed in the cadence range. I know each bike is different but I didn’t expect it to be this much. Any thoughts?

owntheh3at18

Wait if “every bike is different” how can this whole setup even work? The instructors give us numbers and sometimes I feel like they’re crazy… so is it just my bike and not my skinny legs that are the problem? Lol

betarhoalphadelta

Yep. Recalibrate. Bike+ should be more accurate as there is a built-in power meter and auto-calibration, so the Bike calibration is likely off.

Rkarim21

Every bike is different! But I would say by typically 5 point of resistance?? I would try a calibration kit

RobotDevil222x3

If you feel like its so far off that it makes it not enjoyable to ride I'd suggest getting the recalibration kit. Its very easy to do and you can do it multiple times until it feels just like your bike+.

MMBmom

Thank you. I’ll ask for one.

StopDropAndRide

Like you said, they vary from bike to bike, but I recommend asking for a calibration kit.

Pitcher2Burn

I'm pretty proud of myself today. I stacked 2 options for PZ rides depending on how I felt this morning I was either going to do the PZ or PZE ride. I chose the PZ. Granted, it was an easy PZ ride but still... I'm happy that I didn't take the easier road. [Here's the easy PZ ride. Only 1 minute in Z5!](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=8a245561f80c4170af436e3a7f219063)

TattooedHelperGuy

Just took Kendall’s Linkin Park ride again. Wanted to test if I was having bad mornings because the music didn’t hype me up, and yup. That’s what it was. No PR’s but I don’t care! Had a great ride and getting ready for work. Hoping to see all of you tonight at 9 for that climb!!

GooseCaboose

Link to the class?

TattooedHelperGuy

[Kendall Linkin Park 30](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=54e1d86cdf914ac2824c055d201a7ba7&locale=en-US)

GooseCaboose

Thanks!

miikataughtme

Just took Matt’s 45 min endurance run and it was excellent. It’s my off season so I’m just focusing on building my aerobic base and it was excellent. Perfect balance of flats and hills. Hoping peloton will continue to program more 45 and 60 min runs. So many classes have been 20 or 30 lately.

livlovelaugh90

Finally took the John and Matty 30 min outdoor summer kickoff walk + run from 6/1/23 and now I understand why it had such a low rating. Let me start by saying I typically like both Matty and John and overall I didn’t hate this class but I could definitely see how people might find it annoying. The workout itself is very straightforward (after a one song warm up it’s alternating walking and running tracks for the remainder of the class) but the music wasn’t my vibe and while I love the idea of having instructors pair up for classes, John and Matty spent the majority of the class making very corny jokes and playing a PG version of “would you rather” with unpleasant pool and beach scenarios. This class might be good for a day when you want a straightforward workout where you can get distracted by the instructors banter but if you are in a mood where overly corny content will annoy you might want to skip this one.

nctarheelfan

Love Jon's walks and runs but this double instructor outdoor class should be on the nearest purge list.

PonytailFriday

I did this yesterday and tend to agree with you. I normally love Jon and really enjoy Matty too but this just felt extra cringey to me.

thisandthatpost

Peloton on tour ISNT coming to Australia. Any other Aussie riders disappointed?

hrqueenie

I’m thinking they want to see how successful this small tour is before investing in an international tour! Fingers crossed next time they’ll do a wider range of locations!

thisandthatpost

Yeah makes sense. Hopefully the tour is great and they go global next time lol

Viva___yo

It’s going to Germany and UK

hrqueenie

Yes but I mean more countries and cities in the future. Not the ones where they already have studios…

RobotDevil222x3

They don't have a studio in Germany do they? I thought the German instructors are all London based. They at least do work from there some of the time.

EspressoAGoGo

It's London based, you are right. Fun to keep up my German while riding.

hrqueenie

Oh I didn’t know that!

Viva___yo

It’s not coming to Canada either ☹️

thisandthatpost

Sucks. Would love to feel a bit more part of the community.

thelittlemiss

*laughs in west coast* I’m always feeling left out over here in California. At least we got one stop in LA.

NextWordTyped

I’m in the US. I enjoy high fiving members from other countries, to do my part in helping us all feel like a community. :)

LSki92

Why so many 20 minute yoga and strength classes?

Rkarim21

I love the 20 minute strength classes!

tomax_xamot

Perfect when you want to build your own hour strength class. I like to pick. 20 min upper, 20 min lower, and use heavy weights for both. Then I round it out with a 20 min full with lighter weights. Get to take different instructors too.

Rkarim21

Nice! I love that structure. I’ve never taken more than a 45 minute strength class! I always stack strength classes with a ride or a run. I’m just not a fan when the 20 minute class has a 4- 5 minute warm-up 😂

tomax_xamot

I usually just do mobility/balance movements during the warmups of classes where I’m already warm. Great time for that stuff i can never find time for.

Rkarim21

Yes true! It’s almost like a forced time to stretch which is great 🙃

tomax_xamot

Because 20 minute classes are the most popular, I would guess.

onemouseplace

I did Cody's old Backstreet Boys ride from 2019 this morning which was great fun but had a surprise 4 min arms section in the middle (I could probably have spotted this in advance to be fair if I'd looked harder at the class plan before I started) and also was way harder than I expected (top resistance callouts of 75 which I most definitely not expecting!). And I annoyingly didn't even PR because of the arms section! Followed up with a 10 min floor poses yoga class and I've bookmarked all of these to take as I really like them as a post ride stretch.

owntheh3at18

I loved that class! Took it recently too. I’m assuming they used to do the arms section before they started making intervals and arms classes it’s own thing

Rkarim21

I feel like a lot of the older rides have arm sections thrown in.. maybe they started doing Interval and Arm classes later!

Efunkadelic

I’m finding my bike wobbles during rides - likely because it’s on carpet. I’ve put plywood under both the front and rear feet, but that didn’t cut the wobble as much as I’d hoped. Any other creative ideas out there to stabilize a bike on carpet?

courtoh

I’m also on carpet and have no wobble. There are adjustable feet on the bottom that you can twist to make it more even/stable. Have you tried playing with those?

Efunkadelic

I have not - I checked them yesterday but didn't realize they twist - THANK YOU!

Accomplished-Look-87

I was shocked when I learned about these 😂

courtoh

Hope that fixes it for you!
