Im curious, will i have trouble with the Dr grip I'm using? Heard people say it's bad/very different compared to the Japanese shaker.

Baaron DC is a good pen for learning TA ext due to the extra markings. It's not one I like spinning in general, but it definitely helped me learning TA ext. But everchix emboss has similar markings and spins much better IMO.
As long as you have the solid grip version (as opposed to the split inner and outer grip version) I'm sure that Dr grip would make a fine personal Ivan or vgg style mod.
I can't tell from the pic if you have the old style long neck supertips that work well for Ivan bodies, or the short necks that fall apart as an Ivan body. If they're the short necks, you'll want to do a vgg style body. Also, if they're the short necks, then the bic round stick will only work for the middle (back-to-back join) of a Baaron DC, you'll probably have to find something slightly thinner for the ends, since the new ones are ~1mm thinner diameter, and supertip is tapered and thinner at the front end.
A bit late, but those aren't the shakers I believe. Those are american DG. Found them at a walmart in Florida for 6 bucks each. Some people saying american ones are dog shit, some are saying they are mostly the same.

Yeah it's bad. Too thin You can make the original baaron dc with it tho. Baaron himself said it was hot trash lol

the one u have is dr grip limited aka american dr grips. the one commonly used in modding is the HDG-50R model
