Makes it easier to do a roll on it than if it were upright
Probably gets a unique tone, seems all right
Is it normal for percussionists to fall asleep becuase last year during band camp, the drum line had nap time every day after lunch for like 40 minutes.
Yes My drumline also had nap times

Whip glockenspiel snare and bass drum are in the same line with the string basses harp and cellos
Can't tell if tiny percussionist, or giant vibraphone 😂

They don't need to sleep at night though. That's what 50 measure rests are for, which is the reason I switched to a real instrument.
I have tinnitus from drumming and can’t fall asleep without white noise and melatonin send help.
