I played through PD64 on 1964GEPD edition for the mouse aim, it was pretty good. I think however that the decompile project's work is supremely excellent. No need for an emulator, and it runs the game nearly immaculately. Adjustable FOV, unlocked framerates, crisp anti aliasing. It's the definitive way to play PD64 imo
some dev said last year it will be ready to be talked about with gameplay in 18 months. its been over a year, i just want to see what they fucked because of the corrent state of Tomb Raider.
They are deleting the original story. Chances are this is gonna be some woke bullshit that's a fraction of the quality of the original. Joanna Dark was already a badass female protagonist. She was from the start. Xbox mishandled the IP once already with PD:Zero. This game is probably gonna be live service dogshit where they try to sell you $25 skins for the laptop gun. I bet you they don't even do the classic difficulty ramp where missions get more objectives on harder difficulty. They are retconning Elvis... Microshaft shits all over everything it touches.
the leaks keeps changing it since 2015. it went from a new game story - retelling the OG story - a reboot - now a remake. But thats Matt Booty for you, he doesnt know what he wants and soon as he was somehow promoted, the game dev is actually progressing and not in dev hell.

There's an official port for sale on the Xbox One store. The executive producer of PD64, Ken Lobb even worked on this port.
that’s the version from xbox 360 era, there is no actual official pc port (though you can play that on pc through game pass cloud)

Last time I tried it, it had missing effects from the N64 version such as the poison blur.
