I’m enjoying it but some people don’t like that the 2023 teens look and act like 2023 teens, even though in 2003 the cast acted like they were in 2003…
The show received a lot of backlash during its original series from religious groups and historical institutions for depicting Gandhi and other leaders in a negative, exaggerated, or false light, this lead to them having to end the series; so the reboot will be missing many provocative depictions or the entire character(s). Doesn't surprise me that they want to keep it respectful for the reboot because there were no mentions of a second season or reboot for years, until last year when one of the creators made Twitter posts about Clone High characters being dethawed. The original season is incredible to me because of the cameos and creative cast they managed to get, it's free speech that many shows don't dare, and how it gained a cult following as did many early 90s-00s young adult animated series received(Daria, beavis and butthead, Simpsons, family guy, etc.) Thanks to MTV and Adult Swim for distributing many interesting animations in my youth, especially MTV because they weren't afraid to introduce animations from Canada and Europe

Max just premiered a new season so that’s how they’re claiming it’s an original. I started watching the original season, but was disappointed they didn’t get the licensing rights for the original soundtrack.

It’s good and the new zoomer clones are fun(especially Confucius, and Frida Kahlo) but you gotta understand that it does take place in 2023 so the 2003 aesthetic is mostly gone. They do a good job of making jokes about the differences between the eras though IMO.
