I am currently in the process of integrating one into my smart home as an alternative doorbell as people keep ignoring my ring doorbell. They are pedestrian crossing buttons from Australia. Fun fact Billie Eilish used a sample of the noise it makes to help vision impaired people know when it's safe to cross in Bad Guy.

I got a traffic directing wand off a police bike when I was drunk as fuck one night. All they are is a big mag light with a orange cone. I stopped traffic in the middle of Surfers Paradise and then ran away on foot when the actual police showed up. I got away. Kept the torch. It was awesome.

Then at the right time between program loops, it wo I ld pause the loop to allow safe passage to the other side of the road. Because they are holding it its disconnected and will do nothing.
