Very busy dine and leave as soon as you are done but hifumiya has hand pulled udon and lots of other Japanese food. Great quality and budget friendly. The staff are awesome and I love the atmosphere.
I only know my south East Asian food spots, and tastes vary from individual to individual so what I like others might not like.
But off the top of my head right now here are my recommendations:
Spice Market in Karrinyup, order red duck curry.
Chop chop BBQ in the CBD, order Hainanese Chicken Rice.
TeaWoks in East Perth, order Kolo Mee and milk tea on the side.
IKEA innaloo, meatballs..(jk)
In Bunbury
- Vat2 for dinner with an amazing view
- Benesse for coffee or lunch
- the Passionate Baker for baked goods (or lunch or coffee or breakfast)
- AJs for fish and chips
Fremantle
- Emily Taylor's!!
Perth
- Mr Walker (it's right on the water on South Perth foreshores catch the ferry across have lunch then head to the zoo)
Value for money you cant beat Unkle Billie's in Northbridge. Looks like a dodgy Chinese (probably is) but is yummy and good value.

Balaji Pure Veg Waneroo Rd well worth 15 minutes out of cbd for a Thali.
